Badlittlekitten
New Badstreet and Titans on the same evening.😎 Is Johnny sticking as host? Sorrow's great and all but I preferred the previous dynamic.
shoe
Johnny's hosting. Parv was about to fall asleep.
Johnny Sorrow
We'll go back and forth too, but yeah, when we started Parv was out on his feet. 😃
Superstar Sleeze
No End of the Year '81 special? If not, what was everyone's match of the year? The Alley Fight? Backlund/Valentine? Backlund/Slaughter Cage?
Ricky Jackson
Yeah the Kallies were cancelled after the Holiday Inn across from the Spectrum was torn down and Kal demanded too much money to hostMy personal 1981 MVP was Slaughter of course. Match of the Year was 1. Backlund vs Valentine 11/232. Patterson vs Slaughter Alley Fight 5/43. Backlund vs Slaughter cage match 3/21Maybe the boys can chime in with their thoughts
JerryvonKramer
MVP: Sgt. Slaughter 1. Sgt. Slaughter vs. Pat Patterson (5/4/81) 2. Bob Backlund vs. Greg Valentine (11/23/81) 3. KDSlone
Great show as usual, but one quick question? What was the name of the song and artist for the "Adonis" song at the end of the show?

Ricky Jackson
Haha...oh yes, that picture is as famous in Titans circles as the Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot photo. And still alive in 82, baby!

JerryvonKramer
Before Crazy James went crazy, he had a series of pics of Super 8 "filming" various scenes. He was phenomenal at photoshop. Now sadly all lost.
BigBadMick
Just getting to this today and wow guys, way to pile on Parv for his review of Backlund-Adonis! Don't the PWO rules of anything goes as long as you back up your opinion extend to Titans? Anyway, great show as always. I'm sure Parv will get over it.... bkord123
MVP: Sgt. Slaughter 1. Sgt. Slaughter vs. Pat Patterson (5/4/81) 2. Bob Backlund vs. Greg Valentine (11/23/81) 3. Bob Backlund vs. Sgt. Slaughter (3/21/81) I can't understand why Sarge doesn't get more support for the Observer HOF. He was great.
bkord123
I don't know if a picture has been posted before but enjoy: Someone has to find this man (if he's alive) and see if he still has these tapes.
Ricky Jackson
I'd say he would've been lucky to make it out of the 80s but you never know. He did seem to slim down a bit in subsequent appearances, plus he shaved his mustache and ditched the camera. Maybe he turned his life around after the excesses of the 70s

bkord123
Hey Parv, what excited you more: 1. Vince Sr. being caught on tape or 2. Having managers get involved when you were a kid? I love that anecdote.
