goc
So there are Top 10 topics and "Who is in your 100" topics for the singles but no real discussion of tag teams so I thought I'd get the ball rolling on that since I'm only doing a tag team list. These are the teams that are pretty much locks to be on my list somewhere. Not really in any kind of order yet: The Rock N Roll Express The Fantastics The Midnight Express (Condrey & Eaton) The Midnight Express (Lane & Eaton) The Fabulous Ones The Nightmares Tully & Arn Doom The Rockers Hector/Chavo Guerrero The Hardys Need to watch more footage but I could see them getting on my list: MNM The High Flyers Jerry Lawler & Bill Dundee Dr Death & DiBiase The Dirty White Boys/Grapplers Gino Hernandez & Chris Adams The Heavenly Bodies (Del Ray & Pritchard) Then there are some other teams like Steamboat & Youngblood, The Islanders, The Brisco Brothers & some others that I've seen almost nothing from and need to give them a fair shot. I also suppose I should give The Briscoes (Jay & Mark) a look also. I might need to nominate Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden as a team too because I could see them making my list for their Continental & SMW work. WingedEagle
No Japanese teams? Or have you just not seen them?
goc
Probably not, to be honest. I used to feel guilty about it not wanting to watch Japanese footage for this project but people probably aren't gonna dive outside of their ares of interest to check out The Nightmares or Fuller & Golden in Continental and a ton of lucha guys are gonna get overlooked over on the singles side so I feel less bad about it now. Everybody has things they like and dislike and I'm just not a big fan of Japanese wrestling. And before anyone tries to sell it to me, I've seen plenty. Quite a bit of 80s New Japan & All Japan. A little bit of current New Japan. I've seen matches I like but it's not something I ever go "that was awesome, I need to watch more!" goc
looking for any southern tag teams to watch or Japan tag teams via referralThe Nightmares. I already put some of their matches up on youtube and would have put up more if anyone had been watching them. Like shoe said they'll remind you of The Fantastics as babyfaces and are a bit like MX as heels.

Danish Dynamite
If I had to vote today, these might be the final 25 teams... Could still change here and there. I'm open for comments on glaring omissions... They are not quite in order, but they're not totally random either. The Funks Kawada & Taue Arn & Tully The Midnight Express (both versions) The Rn'R Express The Hart Foundation Misawa & Kobashi The Rockers Freebirds (the original lineup) Jumbo & Tenryu The British Bulldogs Dustin & Barry Kroffat & Furnas Lawler & Dundee Arn & Eaton Kerry & Kevin Von Erich Footloose DiBiase & Williams The Road Warriors (yes! you won't get me to remove them!... I'm thinking bottom 5 though...) Rose & Somers Choshu & Yatsu Rude & Manny The Hollywood Blonds The Jumping Bomb Angels

Jimmy Redman
I haven't been thinking much about a tag team list, but I may as well do one. As a first glance I'd vote for these teams off the top of my head, no order yet: Rock N Rolls Rockers Midnight Express (both) Hardyz MNM Kawada & Taue Misawa & Kobashi Demolition Brainbusters The Shield MCMG AMW Toyota & Yamada PG-13 Londrick Young Bucks How many's that? 17? I'll have to think about how to flesh out my ballot if I'm going to put one in I guess.
GOTNW
I'm not sure if there's a better place to put this but I'm not doing a tag team ballot for these reasons: 1)the singles list is the one everyone's really been paying attention to and talking about. The tag team ballot didn't have nearly the same amount of discussion and the candidates didn't undergo nearly the same amount of scrutiny. 2)It's skewed heavily towards 80s american wrestling which I don't care for much and at some point I realised I'd be much easier to just complete the singles list and do one list right than do two I probably wouldn't be satisfied with. I'd also have to nominate like 50 japanese tag teams so....why bother really.
Jimmy Redman
Yeah as it turns out it might not have been the best idea to do tag teams at the same time. The teams ballot has been largely an afterthought, there are heaps of nominations that don't even have any replies. But hindsight and all that. Childs
Seems fine in the sense that no one ever treated it as more than a fun little companion to the main event.
goc
I did teams over singles because it was a lot easier. And I felt less guilty about not watching stuff outside of my areas of interest. The furthest I went out of my comfort zone was modern indies watching Briscoes matches. JerryvonKramer
No. I need the fun of turning in a whimsical list as well. Rockers probably need to be higher. The last four spots would probably be Furnas and Kroffat, Islanders, Jumbo and Baba and genuinely Money Inc in a tribute to my childhood. Let the meaning of outrageous subjectivity be known. InYourCase
I planned on submitting a tag ballot but life got in the way and I never had time to dive into teams the way I wanted to. That being said, yeah, the lack of Japanese teams being represented is weird to me. There are teams that I like like KENTAFuji, Speed Muscle, & MochiFujii that I don't expect to receive a lot of praise on this site, but Footloose, Jumbo/Tenryu, Hase/Sasaki, etc. deserve much more love. JerryvonKramer
Hase / Sasaki actually probably over some of the teams I've mentioned, that's a good call.

victory
I'm actually more interested in seeing the top 25 tag team list more than the singles. Probably 75% of my viewing habits over the last 6 years has just been cherry picking tag team matches.
