Parties Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 Mauro's calling the pre-show match and JBL's burying him. That's what happens when you get the flu on Vince's watch.
Death From Above Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 Why is this on the pre-show? This deserves better.
Scarlet-Left Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 Mauro's calling the pre-show match and JBL's burying him. That's what happens when you get the flu on Vince's watch. "There's no such thing as a lucky punch." Am I reading too much into it or was that jab from Mauro?
WingedEagle Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 If referencing Drake and Meek Mill doesn't get Mauro fired we'll know he's safe.
Scarlet-Left Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 Good psychology. Too bad the network's on the blink.
Death From Above Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 I can't get the pre-show stream to stay stable, so I can't say much about this match so far.
cpst Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 The tree of woe double stomp is such a terrible move.
WingedEagle Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 Man I loved the opener. The chairshot DQ, the quick second fall capitalizing on it, the Ultimo Guerrero tribute. Mauro on fire. That was a ton of fun.
Death From Above Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 I like the idea behind Kalisto's "momentum-into turnbuckles" offense (for lack of a better term), but the execution always looks a bit off to me so far. I did like them pulling out the "chairshot DQ in a fall to gain advantage in another fall" thing. Â Didn't see a ton of what came in between.
JerryvonKramer Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 I am tickled that a man responsible for booking so many shitty wrestling matches and cards should now have an award for excellence named after him.
hammerva Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 Mauro was just great on the match saying at least 4 or 5 things that Vince and Kevin Dunn probably cringed hearing but worked for the energy of the fans. I really don't know why they would do this given how Cole and JBL will just go through the motions on commentary
hammerva Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 I am tickled that a man responsible for booking so many shitty wrestling matches and cards should now have an award for excellence named after him. Â Triple H is a booker. Are we in the future
Parties Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 Dylan on Twitter called Del Rio-Kalisto the WWE MOTYTD. I liked the Rumble and New Day/Usos-Ziggler from SD more, but it was solid stuff that deserves a less distracted rewatch. Contextually I need a match to have more heat than that to consider it great, but they worked hard and exceeded their booking/time slot. Agree that Mauro calling Quebrada con Hilos is not what Vince had in mind when he heard that prank Mayweather-Buffett PBP.
JerryvonKramer Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 So let me get this right: HHH isn't going to defend the title at all before Mania?
hammerva Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 Huh have they ever started a PPV with a divas match? This would be a good first time if so
Parties Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 So let me get this right: HHH isn't going to defend the title at all before Mania? Â I thought about this the other day and wondered if WWE has ever had a kayfabe 30 day rule. It will never be brought up, because HHH.
hammerva Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 Â So let me get this right: HHH isn't going to defend the title at all before Mania? Â I thought about this the other day and wondered if WWE has ever had a kayfabe 30 day rule. It will never be brought up, because HHH. Â Â While it is pretty bad I agree, Brock Lesnar went a good 3 or 4 months without even appearing much less defending the title
JerryvonKramer Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 One thing I like about these women's matches is that if I ever get bored I can just look at their asses. Â Decent match imo
Death From Above Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 Good tag match for the ladies there. Nice FIP sequence, decent nearfalls. Match told a good story. Enjoyed it.
WingedEagle Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 That might've been the best Sasha & Becky have looked since being called up. Legitimately enjoyed it. Naomi will be able to take all my monies, one dollar at a time, if she is ever so inclined. Â This show is off to a really nice start with these first 2 matches.
cpst Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 One thing I like about these women's matches is that if I ever get bored I can just look at their asses. Some say that Parv started the Divas Revolution.
Parties Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 Very good tag opener. Banks playing to the crowd felt like a change of pace as well. Tamina botching the pin breakup was kinda SMH, if only because it sometimes feels like she can never catch a break. Naomi has become very solid, and Lynch off the top rope was a lot of fun.
JerryvonKramer Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 I hate the fact Ziggler's Twitter handle is "@heelZiggler"
hammerva Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 "Your hometown likes me more than you" - funny and probably true
