I just saw this. Sure, it gets people talking, but not in the way you would want if you're WWE. Unless it's the old 'any publicity is good publicity' thing, although that's been proven false in a lot of cases. Who thought this was a good idea?

It almost seems like a marketing "Trading Places" bet.

 

Brock Lesnar's drawing power (he's advertised for the show apparently and I'm guessing will face Reigns or Braun or both) vs. the absolute shittiest name ever.

 

Like putting on Austin vs. Hogan in 2001 but naming the show "WWE Presents...DiarrheaFest 69."

Great Balls Of Fire is an awesome name. If some SMW card from the early 90's with the Bodies, Rock n Rolls, Bob Armstrong, and the rest was called that you fuckers would remember it fondly. And it was an old reference then. Stop it.

It's so much better than "Fastlane" or so many others.

I thought the show was called Bad Blood. They made a big deal about bringing that show back & it being in Hartford & everything. What made them change their minds?

It's also better than Money In The Bank. There's no money in that briefcase, nor does the winner receive a new bank account.

Winning the MITB briefcase means you're basically guaranteed to win the title. Ergo, it is money in the bank. Speaking of, I'd love to see Sami win MITB and then lose the cash in.

I like the name. It reminds me of old Coliseum videos, like Bleeps, Bloopers & Bodyslams. It's an old reference that seems more relevant than something embarrassing like Cyber Sunday and more thought out than the apparently DUI themed Over the Limit.
