I am very pumped for the show. A little concerned it may be one very long Old Timers Day / history package, but it should still be a blast and feature at least the one big angle that's been expected for a bit now.

And Austin still gets the biggest pop in the entire company

THERE IS THE DOLPHIN SELL. I love when Shane sells a stunner like a dolphin coming out of the water

Best part was Vince ribbing Shane by spilling beer all over while trying to sell the first stunner

That opening was exactly what I was afraid of. And it was outstanding.

And this. Classic.

Man I hope they put a big screen at the Manhattan Center because it looks like most of the action will be at Brooklyn.

Not sure why Teddy Long the Smackdown GM for years is on the show but oh well not like Brother Love was a regular on RAW either

I'm sure there's a car waiting to bring Taker to Brooklyn, but I thought he looked unusually old and came off like a complete nostalgia act before a pretty dead Manhattan Center crowd. Shouldn't have presented him without the literal smoke & mirrors of his entrance and total package.

Well cool to see Taker in the Manhattan Center but really felt like he was just trying to get his shit finished. He completely blew by the "one more match" chant

Good match as always.

Amazing how not over this Rumble title match is. Kane is a heat sink but I honestly think people are bored of Lesnar too and would just prefer Braun as champ

So apparently the Manhattan Center is basically a 205 Live House show with very few RAW moments.

MVP is definitely the most random what the hell is he doing here moment tonight

Flair looking at Alexa like an 21 year old at a Baltimore Marriott with a Bob Barker facelift is creepy as fuck

Its wild that WWE is booking a character thats entirely dependent on having knowledge of TNA to make any sense of

Posted

And to further prove that this is a 205 Live house show we are getting Bray vs Woken Matt

apparently the crowd completely destroyed the cruiserweight matches. Can't imagine the people who went there knew they were getting this.

They seem to think that just throwing a bunch of nostalgic acts in a backstage segment is surreal enough to carry the segment on its own. So haphazard.
