Nice follow up show.

Spivey avenges his loss and appears to be heading for big things.

Like the French Revolution and they debut strong.

LOL, Rose is gold on the mic. Man, with The Polish Prince and the Pretty Boy by his side, it's going to be a tough task getting the belt off Rose.

Cobra gets the win tonight but I know Wakamatsu's men are plotting revenge.

Another win for the brigade as Perez gets an impressive pin on Boyd. So far the Brigade is doing a great job of watching each others backs.

Fun main event as the Harts debut! Harts take care of the Starrs while CanCon takes care of Flowers and Embry.

Good idea adding a tag title because your tag division is stacked!

AWA Pacific Wrestling show from the Victoria Memorial Arena, Victoria , June 8th

 Al Perez vs. Jonathan Boyd

With the other members of The Brigade at ringside, Perez won with a German Suplex

Masanobu Fuchi & Mr. Hito vs. The Cobra & Keiichi Yamada

A fast paced bout that ended with Yamada pinning Fuchi after a brainbuster

Billy Jack Haynes, Matt Borne & Chris Adams vs. Rip Oliver, Doug Somers & Ed Wiskowski

In a match where Haynes and Borne both took a serious pounding, Billy Jack was still able to catch Oliver in a powerslam off the ropes for the win. Buddy Rose was at ringside and, although the Army lost, he seemed very pleased with their efforts.

Adrian Adonis vs. Tom Zenk

Adonis seemed to have it in for young Zenk and battered him mercilessly, bloodying his nose. Zenk put in an heroic effort and looked like he might pull off a win, but a mistimed attempt at a back body drop led to Adonis nailing him with a DDT and getting the pinfall. The rest of The Brigade were once again at ringside and very supportive of his efforts, and when Adonis tried to go after Zenk post match, they stood over him and protected him.

AWA Pacific Tag Team Title Match : The Rock & Roll Express © vs. Texas Red & The Spoiler

In a crazy match, The Rock & Roll Express won by DQ when Texas Red slugged the referee

"Diamond" Timothy Flowers, Eric Embry, Ron Starr & Chicky Starr vs. Ron Garvin, Leo Burke, Bruce Hart & Keith Hart

Bruce Hart got the win for his team when he caught Embry with a flying lariat

Texas Red's temper getting the best of him and it could have cost them the belts. Spoiler won't likely put up with too much of that.

If The Brigade can stick together, they are going to be a force here in Pacific. But I wouldn't put it past Rose to be trying to turn someone!!

Haynes, Borne, and Adams is one heck of a team, but man the babyfaces seem outnumbered around here!!

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Portland Sports Arena, Portland , on ESPN / TSN , June 14th

Bruce & Keith Hart vs. Jonathan Libby & Jeff Wilson

After stopping the Starr "Cousins" from interfering against CanCon last week, Bruce and Keith made their Showcase in-ring debut tonight. The brothers showed why the Hart Family is the benchmark for excellence in Canadian wrestling as they displayed their scientific expertise against their opponents. Libby barely got in the match as the Brothers took apart Wilson before Keith made him give up to the Figure Four leglock. A dominant performance, but would it be enough to counter the sneaky cunning of the Starrs?

AWA Pacific Tag Team Titles : The Rock & Roll Express © vs. The California Cowboys

There is a plethora of teams clamoring for a shot at the Rock & Rolls tag titles, but the California Cowboys cited their rematch clause and were clearly dead set on taking their belts back. They waged an all out assault on the champs, and Ricky and Robert had to dig deep to stay in the fight. The Cowboys looked set to take back the titles when Orton got Robert up for the Superplex, but Gibson was able to pull of the mid air pivot and instead landed on top of Orton for the one two three. The challengers were clearly steamed at the result, but that was overshadowed by what happened next. Seemingly out of nowhere, while the Rock & Rolls were celebrating in the ring, The Spoiler and Texas Red showed up at ringside. Ricky and Robert got set for an attack, but instead the two big men simply stared at them while shaking their heads, then left. It looks like Spoiler and Red are cutting to the front of the line to challenge for the titles.

The Vachon Brothers vs. The Starr Cousins

This match never got on the ground as the Vachons were immediately attacked by two masked men. As the two sides exchanged punches, Ron and Chicky Starr, clearly seeing nothing to be gained from the situation, bailed from the ring. Both the Vachons and the masked men brawled fiercely until security came out to separate the two sides, but once that was done, JR Foley came out and got on the ringside mic. He declared that the Vachons might have gotten rid of the Zambuie Express, but he was far from done with them, and he had brought in the Assassins to take them down for good.

Tom Zenk vs. Adrian Adonis

Zenk was accompanied at ringside by the other members of The Brigade, while Adonis was joined by the California Cowboys, as well as Jonathan Boyd for some reason. While Boyd has had his tussles with The Brigade, up until now he has had no affiliation with the California Connection. He certainly showed his effectiveness when Zenk went up top for the missile dropkick, only to be shoved hard by Boyd down to the mat. As Boyd and the Cowboys brawled at ringside with The Brigade, Adonis picked up Zenk and hit the DDT for the win. But that wasn't enough for Adonis, who went up to the second turnbuckle and indicated he was going to cave in Zenk's face with a kneedrop. He might have been successful had not The Brigade been able to break through the lines and rescue Zenk. Clearly, Adonis and Boyd have decided to join forces to wage war on the newcomers.

Billy Jack Haynes , Matt Borne & Chris Adams vs. Buddy Rose, Doug Somers & Rip Oliver

Haynes and company have been at a distinct numbers disadvantage against the Army, a fact underscored by Ed Wiskowski prowling at ringside, but put in a good showing against Buddy Rose's crew. Just when it looked like they would pull off the win, Wiskowski pulled himself up to the ring apron to interfere … but he was just as quickly pulled off by someone. It was Phil Hickerson! As Hickerson and Wiskowski slugged it out at ringside, Billy Jack took advantage of the distraction and nailed Rose with a belly to back suplex that scored the pinfall. Rose may well now be regretting the way he fired Hickerson from the Army, as it has led to the champ taking a loss.

The AWA Pacific Tag Team Division is stacked!

Could this be the beginning of the first title for Texas Red?

Hart's make a nice debut but can they handle the big boys like the Vachons, Assassins and the RnR Express.

While the Playboy runs AWA Pacific... could Billy Jack throw a wrench in his plans.... lets all wait and see

Harts make a strong showing.

RnR down the Cowboys but it loos like Spoiler and Texas Red are next in line...YES!

OH MAN! The Assassins come to town and target the Vachons. This is going to be one wild feud!

Adonis takes down Zenk and seems to have a new ally in Boyd.

Hickerson gets a little payback on Rose as Billy Jack scores the fall. Cant wait for the Billy Jack/Rose one on one title match.

Kev is right, your tag division is stacked!

Bruce Hart was to catch Chicky Starr with a flying lariat to score the pin

The Vachon Brothers vs. The Assassins

Super Strong Machine vs. Larry Zbyszko

Larry ducked at the wrong time on a backdrop attempt, leading to SSM hitting the Devil Windmill Suplex for the victory. After the match, Larry and Nord The Barbarian attacked Machine and beat him down until Keiichi Yamada rushed to the ring to pull him out.

AWA Pacific Heavyweight Title 2/3 Falls Match : Buddy Rose © vs. Billy Jack Haynes

1st Fall : Rose hit a low blow on Billy Jack to set him up for the Inside Out Backbreaker and score the first pinfall

2nd Fall : Billy Jack trapped Rose in the Full Nelson and forced him to give up the second fall

3rd Fall : Rose ducked and dodged and stalled for all he was worth, but Billy Jack was ultimately able to catch him in the Full Nelson one more time. Unfortunately for Haynes, almost immediately after he did that, the bell rang, signaling a 45 minute draw. Rose retained the title.

As everyone has said, you have an absolutely stacked tag team division going on.

The build for The Brigade has been fantastic and has made all of them look like future main eventers.

Man, when someone finally takes that title from Rose, it is gonna be huge.

Loving the action in Pacific!

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Cow Palace , San Francisco , on ESPN / TSN, June 21st

Loser Of The Fall Leaves Town Match : The Brigade vs. The California Connection & Jonathan Boyd

It looks like the resentment that Adrian Adonis and his crew have for the newcomers to AWA Pacific has reached a boiling point, with Jonathan Boyd adding himself to the mix, and they are determined to run The Brigade out of town. With the stakes as high as they are, the California Connection seemed determined to keep Zenk and Perez in the ring for much of the match, being reticent to tangle with the much bigger Rotunda and Spivey. The two college lettermen ultimately had enough and charged into the ring, only to be met by the California Cowboys. When Boyd tossed Zenk over the top rope, leaving Adonis alone to set up Al Perez for the DDT, it looked like it was all over for the handsome Latin Heartthrob. But that's where the match took a strange turn. Boyd then suddenly hit Adonis with a low blow from behind, followed by an over the shoulder neckbreaker. He then plucked the ring symbolizing the King Of The Bay from the hand of Adonis before running out of the ring and disappearing. Perez was then able to execute the German Suplex on Adonis and send the Golden Boy out of AWA Pacific. It looks like Boyd has implemented his own one man coup to take the Bay Area throne for himself, leaving behind the California Cowboys trying to figure out just what happened.

Robert Gibson vs. The Spoiler

The Spoiler and Texas Red have announced their intentions to challenge for the AWA Pacific Tag Team Titles held by the Rock & Roll Express, and the masked man's partner was a glowering presence at ringside for this match. Gibson had Ricky Morton watching his back , but Red didn't do much more than scowl at him. Gibson had his hands full with the Spoiler, as he was giving up a couple of inches in height and a fair amount of experience to the masked man. He gamely engaged with Spoiler, using cat and mouse tactics to stay just out of range of his attacks . His luck ran out when Spoiler was able to dodge a dropkick, and Spoiler then whipped Gibson into the ropes before taking him down to the mat with the Claw. One two three and Spoiler had managed an impressive win over one half of the Tag Champs. It looks like the Express' Tag Team Titles are extremely vulnerable right now.

The Cobra vs. Chicky Starr

It hasn't been that long since Chicky Starr showed up at the side of his "Cousin" Ron , but has swiftly earned a reputation as one of the most devious men in AWA Pacific.  He was up against a strong technical opponent in The Cobra and did everything he could to avoid locking up with him. Chicky actually did pretty well in matching up with Cobra's wrestling skills, as the momentum went back and forth throughout the night, but it looked like it would be for naught as Chicky landed awkwardly on a leapfrog and seemed to hurt his knee. Cobra wanted to go after him but the ref kept holding him back to give time to see if Chicky could continue. But it all turned out to be a ruse, as Chicky took advantage of the distraction to pull some brass knucks out of his trunks, out of sight of the ref. When Cobra came over to engage, Chicky slugged him with the loaded punch and got the pin. After the ref counted three, Chicky discretely put the knucks back in his trunks. He then jogged around the ring to mock Cobra, his "injured" knee clearly not bothering him anymore. Chicky Starr is one competitor in AWA Pacific who can not be trusted.

Non-Title Match : "Diamond" Timothy Flowers vs. Ronnie Garvin

Although Flowers' TV Title was not on the line, there was certainly a lot else on the line, as Garvin was gunning for a Title shot further down the line. Indeed , both men had a full complement of supporters at ringside, with Flowers having the rest of the Diamond Starr Corporation and Garvin having Leo Burke and the Hart Brothers. There was a threat of the outsiders getting involved throughout the match, and it came to a head when Flowers signaled to Embry before whipping Garvin into the ropes. This all fell apart, though, when Garvin reversed the whip at the last moment, and Embry accidentally tripped Flowers. Flowers then stumbled out of the ropes, leading to Garvin being able to hit him with a lightning quick Hands Of Stone punch. Garvin then rolled up Flowers for the pin, which will put him in a good position to get that title shot. Flowers berated Embry after the match. Looks like not all is well in the Diamond Starr Corporation.

Billy Jack Haynes, Matt Borne, Chris Adams & Phil Hickerson vs. The Buddy Rose Army

The past tag matches that Haynes and company have had with the Army have been riddled with interference from members of both sides. This time out, all members of the Army would be directly involved in the match, and tempers were clearly running high. Much of the attention was on Billy Jack, as the Army were clearly looking to take him out of contention for Rose's title, and Haynes was equally determined to prove himself worthy of another title shot. When the ref got caught in between a double clothesline by Rose and Haynes, this was the cue for chaos to completely break out. As both sides brawled with each other, somebody charged into the ring. It was Dick Slater! Slater, who hadn't been seen since he no showed a match with Matt Borne at Seattle Showdown, was brandishing a folded metal chair and was clearly looking to do major damage to Billy Jack. He raised the chair over his head, but was intercepted by Matt Borne. Borne grabbed the chair from Slater … and whalloped Billy Jack in the head with it! As the crowd watched in shock, the two grabbed Billy Jack and gave him a vicious Spike Piledriver onto the chair. They then grabbed the chair and left the ring. At this point, Rose sauntered over with a self satisfied smirk, grandly raised his index finger over his head, and then placed the tip of his finger on Billy Jack's chest. The ref had recovered enough to drag himself over and make the count. One … Two … THREE! Rose and the Army had gotten the win in the most sickening, humiliating way possible. What on earth has gotten into Matt Borne?

The Adorable One is gone! The Cowboys have potentially been left out in the cold, and Boyd walks out looking like a million bucks! Another win for The Brigade too!!

Spoiler picks up a nice singles win against Robert Gibson, but that is a whole lot different than beating the R'n'R Express in tag competition.

"Cousin" Chicky picks up the sneaky win, and I love it!

Garvin vs Flowers looks like a damn gang war at ringside, but Garvin picks up a nice win and a potential title shot.

My, oh my that main event. Borne and Slater? Yes, Please.

Another awesome show man!

Man, so much going on in Pacific!

Boyd is in for himself as he pulls one over on Adonis and the Cowboys and ends up helping the Brigade send them packing.

Spoiler gets a big win over Gibson, proving him and Texas Red are serious threats to the tag titles.

LOL, gotta love Chicky Starr. Just when you think he's done, he weasels his way to a shady win.

Garvin takes advantage of the mishap and gains himself a TV title shot as he defeats Flowers.  Trouble brewing between Flowers and Embry.

Huge main event that ends with a shock as Slater returns and Borne helps him! They do a brutal number on Billy Jack and Rose loves every minute.

AWA Pacific Wrestling show from the Oakland Alameda County Arena, Oakland, June 22nd

Losing Team Leaves Town Match : The California Cowboys vs. Mike Rotunda & Dan Spivey

Jonathan Boyd snuck in the ring and clobbered Tim Brooks in the back of the head with the big gold ring. Spivey then hit a Big Leg Drop and sent the Cowboys packing from AWA Pacific

Super Strong Machine vs. Nord The Barbarian

Distraction from Larry Z led to Nord hitting Machine with a Big Boot to get the win

Rip Oliver & Doug Somers vs. The French Revolution

A very intense bout where Bravo was able to catch Somers in a side slam and score a hard fought victory for The Revolution

The Hart Brothers vs. The Starr "Cousins"

Keith Hart had caught Ron Starr in a sleeper hold, only for Chicky to hit him with a low blow from behind, leading to Ron rolling up Keith and getting the tainted pinfall

 Ron Garvin vs. Eric Embry

Garvin pinned Embry after a Sunset Flip

AWA Pacific Tag Team Title Match : The Rock & Roll Express © vs. The Spoiler & Texas Red

An incredibly violent match where the Spoiler clotheslined the ref when he tried to stop Texas Red from choking Ricky Morton. The Rock & Roll Express won by DQ, but it took Gibson coming in with a chair to get Red off Morton

I have said it before... I love your tag team division.  The Harts vs the Starr's just seems like a perfect feud and then Spoiler and Texas Red going wild in the Title match.  Even though this was a DQ, the Rock n Roll Express must feel lucky to get out of their with their belts and their lives

Rotunda and Spivey prove to be the real deal as they send the California Cowboys packing.

This time it's Larry Z helping Nord get a shady win.

French Revolution get a solid win over Sommers and Oliver.

LOL, Chicky's low down tactics help get the Starrs another win.

Garvin continues to roll as he defeats Embry.

Love the main event. Ends in a DQ but Spoiler and Texas Red are now very serious threats to RnR.

Looks like the Cowboys are headed out of town.

I was sad to see Adonis go also. I feel he could have been a main player here. But Boyd is one devious guy.

SS Machine was robbed by Nord and Zbyszko. Good match.

Always enjoyed Chicky & Ron Starr together

Ron Garvin having his way as of late. Good stuff with Embry and looks like a face turn may be in the near future.

It's not the Pacific without a Rose Army!

Speaking of the Pacific, I really appreciated that 2 out of 3 fall match between Rose & Haynes.

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Olympic Auditorium , Los Angeles , June 28th

The French Revolution vs. Rip Oliver & Ed Wiskowski

The duo of Dino Bravo and Phil Lafleur have been picking up momentum of late, but the French Revolution certainly had their work cut out for them facing two of the Buddy Rose Army. The Polish Prince towered over both of the French-Canadians and Oliver seemed to know every dirty trick in the book. The pair relentlessly double teamed the Revolution throughout the match until the ref finally took a stand and demanded Wiskowski return to his corner. That's when things got really strange, as a man in a black mask appeared out of nowhere and dashed into the ring, whaloping Oliver in the knee with a nightstick before diving out as quickly as he came in. The ref didn't see this but Wiskowski did, and he tore off after the masked stranger. This left Oliver hobbled and alone in the ring with the Revolution, who looked baffled by what happened but took advantage nonetheless, hitting a side slam and flying legdrop combo that got the three count.  Only time will tell who this mystery man is who looks set to bedevil the Army.

Interview : Frank Bonnema stands in the ring

Bonnema : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guest is someone whose recent actions certainly need some explaining … Jonathan Boyd!

The crowd boos as Boyd heads out, clutching the New Zealand flag and looking as belligerent as ever

Bonnema : Jonathan Boyd, it looked like you had joined forces with the California Connection against the Brigade, but your actions have sent them out of Pacific Coast Wrestling. What on earth are you up to?

Boyd : What makes you think I care about the California Connection? I've been a champion in 36 countries, mate! I can deal with those snot nosed pups in the Brigade, and I certainly don't need some greaseball and his cowpoke cronies getting in my way!

Bonnema : The Brigade may be young, but they are strong and talented wrestlers, and there are four of them. How do you figure on taking them all on by yourself?

Boyd : I've always got a plan, Bonnema. I have just the people I need to join my Embassy and take it to those pretty boys … the Guerrero Brothers.

The crowd's booing goes to an even higher level as Mando, Chavo and Hector Guerrero come out, waving Mexican flags and laughing maniacally.

Hector : Hey, boooooyyyys! You call yourself the Brigade? Well you're going to wish you dodged the draft when you gotta deal with me and my brothers! The Embassy is going to take you kids to school, and believe me, you're going to learn a lesson you will never forget!

Boyd : And I've got one more surprise in store, but they are just going to have to wait to see what it is!

Super Strong Machine vs. Nord The Barbarian

The masked Japanese star has been driven to distraction of late, having to deal with Nord and his partner Larry Zbyszko at the same time. Any time he faced one, the other would stick his nose in. This match was no different, as Machine was able to get the huge Barbarian against the ropes with his vicious kicks, only for Larry to charge in with KY Wakamatsu's megaphone. This led to a DQ win for Machine, but Larry and Nord didn't seem to care as they put the boots to him. When the ring was finally cleared, a furious Machine got on the mike and started screaming in Japanese. When a translator was found, it turned out that Machine was challenging Nord and Larry to face him and a partner of his choosing in two weeks in Portland, a challenge the two gleefully accepted.

Bruce Hart vs. Ron Starr

The Harts and the Starrs have been intensely feuding in tag matches, but this singles match was a largely technical affair with no interference from their partners. The pendulum of momentum swung back and forth throughout this match, with both men seeming like they could take the win at many points. Bruce was ultimately able to score the pinfall by countering an attempted lariat with a crucifix. The Hart Family prevailed this time, but you can bet the Starrs will do everything they can to even the score.

Interview : Frank Bonnema stands in the ring

Bonnema : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guest have recently been in the middle of a lot of controversy in Pacific Coast Wrestling … Matt Borne and Dick Slater!

The crowd explodes in boos as Borne and Slater, both with intense looks on their faces, stride out to the ring.

Bonnema : Matt Borne, you had a series of vicious matches with Dick Slater, but now, you are taking sides with Slater and stab your best friend, Billy Jack Haynes, in the back! What is your problem?

Borne : Friend? FRIEND? Haynes was never any friend to me. When he was too much of a weakling to take on Dick Slater, they throw me into the line of fire instead. And when he comes back, does he shoulder his share of the matches? No, he just helps himself to title shots with Buddy Rose, leaving me to fight his battles for him. He buddies up with Phil Hickerson and just forgets everything I've done for him. The one time I can rope him into a tag match against Slater and Boyd, he just wanders off to go after Rose again, leaving me alone to try to deal with his feud for him. Well, I'm done being Billy Jack's patsy. Dick Slater has earned my respect, Billy Jack has not, and I know where my loyalties lie from now on!

Slater : The deal is this, Bonnema. I came to Pacific Coast Wrestling to get some lumps on that muscle head Billy Jack Haynes. But Haynes was such a lightweight, he went down from one shot. And while he is sitting at home in bed, like the coward he is, they keep putting me in matches with Matt Borne. Match after Match, Matt Borne, Matt Borne, Matt Borne. Like he said, even when Haynes came back, he keeps ducking me and sending me against Matt. I gave Matt the worst beatings of his life, and he gave me the same. So when it comes time for the Seattle Showdown, do I finally get in the ring with Billy Jack? No! They put me against Matt Borne. Well, I ain't never had no problem with Matt Borne! Matt is the toughest son of a gun I have ever faced. So I said , Hell no! I didn't even bother to show up for that match. Instead, Matt and I talked, man to man, and guess what? He is just as sick of Billy Jack Haynes as I am! So we formed a partnership. Haynes, you are going to regret ducking me. Because when the Marauders get a hold of you, we are going to put you and Hickerson out of action for good!

Loser Leaves Town Match for the AWA Pacific Heavyweight Title : Buddy Rose © vs. Chris Adams

Ever since winning the Heavyweight Title in a tournament, Buddy Rose has kept an iron tight grip on the belt. Challenger after challenger have gone after the title, but by hook or by crook, Rose has come out with the title snug around his waist. "Gentleman" Chris Adams has had to put his standing in the Pacific Coast territory on the line in order to get this title shot and, with his back to the wall, the popular Englishman was determined to make it count. He kept coming after Rose with punches and suplexes, trying to set him up for the Superkick, but the Playboy kept wriggling out of his grasp. Every time Adams seemed close to putting away Rose, Buddy would find some way of escaping. Adams finally whipped Rose hard into the corner and came in for an Avalanche, only for Rose to get his knee up at the last second and hit a nasty low blow on Adams. He then draped his feet over the ropes while the clueless ref made the count, sending poor Chris out of Pacific Coast Wrestling. Can anyone beat the Playboy at this point?
