I’m really not sure what to think at this point. Two of Hogan’s closest friends (including the man with the key to his money who also said he would be setting up an account for Hogan to be launched “early this week,” which is when the fake one went up) BOTH link to a fake account right when? Bubba tweets at a fake Hogan right after they left a meeting together and doesn’t realize something is up?

WWE's Web team sets up Twitter accounts for their Superstars.

I'd imagine TNA's Web team does the same for their guys.

All this needs is one TNA wrestler having a friend on the Web team and he can get Hogan's password.

Bischoff and BLTS probably linked to Hogan's account not knowing that it had just been hacked by a TNA wrestler.

If the the account was hacked or compromised or whatever, why didn't Dixie, Bubba and Eric just say so? Claiming that it's just another fake account makes them look like fools. If the account was really stolen, it wouldn't be their fault.

Actually, wouldn't saying 'someone hacked our account' make them look like fools, since it indicates their Web team isn't very bright? You don't see this happening with official WWE accounts.

Also, you can't really say it's a 'fake account' if it was set up by TNA and hijacked by another TNA employee.

WWE.com has been hacked before by TNA fans (not just twitter accounts), so... I guess I depends on how it happened. If a wrestler lifted the password while the TNA tech guy was in the john, it would be embarrassing.

I mean...

The Hogan twitter site that I posted is a fake one. Hulk IS getting a Twitter page up, but the most recent post is a fake. 6 minutes ago via web

On one hand, I'm sure plenty of people would wish TNA would just go away... but that being said, if it did, we'd all miss out on a weekly, even daily, dose of entertainment. :)

I think the new Florida group could easily pick up the slack with that regard, given the people involved and some of the guys they've shown interest in. TNAnonymous needs to remember that the grass is not always greener. I wouldn't risk burning my bridge with the company until I was sure the Florida group was for real.

So I have a question stemming from Dave Meltzer on the latest Observer Radio Show: what on earth did Ric Flair write in his autobiography that caused Beth to get so upset that it led to his divorce?

I think it was his references to philandering in the book making Beth look foolish to be even married to him.

The references were pretty mild, and he put Beth over really strong in the book for standing by him. On the other hand, there was a lot of "Ric Flair finding Ric Flair again" at the end of the book.

What's funny is that I don't think Ric was remotely close to being open and honest about his banging and nonsense in the book (hence no references to The Flair Show in the book). So it's hard to see what of it made Beth look worse than one would have already thought: everyone knew Ric was fucking left and right over the years. He actually handled it pretty low key, and copped to it not being fair to Beth.

I'm thinking the Book is less of an issue than post-book Ric banging everything in sight on the road and it being too obvious for Beth to ignore.

Eric doesnt see the irony here:

Eric Bischoff asked fans on his Facebook page for new names that have "drawn money in the last ten years."

Apparently, Bischoff didn't like the responses because he later commented, "Interesting resonses. Clearly the majority of people here have NO IDEA what drawing money is. ROH is not making money on TV, PPV or arena shows. Its a backyard vanity project for marks. No disrespect to the talent who are working hard, but NUMBERS DONT LIE, THEY DONT HAVE OPINIONS AND THEY DON'T HAVE AGENDAS."

I guess someone should remind him that some of the best TNA talents came from Ring of Honor, including names like AJ Styles, Jay Lethal, Samoa Joe, and Alex Shelley who are either getting major pushes NOW from TNA or have been involved in the company's most well received bouts....or that if you remove the recent Brooklyn, NY outdoor event, Ring of Honor - the "backyard vanity project" - has actually drawn better houses in the New York City market when compared to TNA's own events in the market?

This came off like a really misinformed comment on Bischoff's part and it's a shame people will see this and blame TNA for it. ROH may not be drawing 6s and selling out Arenas like WCW did, but neither is TNA, which has a far more expensive talent roster and far better television coverage. For a company of it's size, ROH grew every year until the economy fell apart. That's a fact.

Meanwhile, my own response to Bischoff would be CM Punk, who (what do you know?) came from Ring of Honor before WWE signed him and there's no way you can argue Punk hasn't drawn WWE money.

More from Bisch:

"Talent that "draws money" sell out major arenas, they set PPV records that they main event in, they sell millions of dollars of merchandise and migrate into mainstream media. It takes time. No top talent that has ACTUALLY DRAWN MONEY has been in the biz for less than 8 years with only two exceptions."

This guy, Russo, and Dixie are running TNA, and yet we are continually surprised by their levels of incompetence.

It's an insanely stupid talking point, and Bischoff is using it to basically say, "Therefore, pushing new stars is a bad idea." This guy is an idiot.

His beloved Hogan was a draw after about three years in wrestling, Flair became a draw about five years in, and Rock, Austin, and whoever else had less than 8 years before they drew.

The most annoying thing about this guy is that he STILL thinks he did no wrong in not pushing anyone new in WCW. Even if his point is correct now, it's ultimately meaningless. There is no historic precedent for guys not drawing in their first eight years.
