I like the story of Page wanting to up the pace and get things going quickly but that also opens him up for mistakes that Danielson takes advantage of. I do wonder what's the point of another blade job.

This is my favorite kind of wrestling sequel. Instead of trying to do a bigger better bader version of the first match, go for a classic in another direction instead. Make it more intense and smashmouth, for starters.

This feels in real time like the best match I've seen in many years.

Bryan saw that great IC match he had against Ziggler and decided to one up those nasty headbutts

Hangman needs to add a submission finisher to his arsenal.

Great, decisive finish. I feared they wanted to make something overly long and bloated but this hit all the right spots.

I might be in the minority here but I actually liked this better than the first match, and it's my favourite Danielson match so far in his AEW run

I did too. Went 30+ minutes but didn't feel like it. As good as the first match was, you felt that hour.

Very good rematch. Loved the little touches they sprinkled in (the pace from Page, the dual blade jobs, the counters and Hangmayne being able to finally break Danielson's stamina). I'd have to watch it again, I thought the crowd was tame, specially this being the opening match.

It's three matches now were Dragon makes 30 minutes flew by (Omega, Page I & II). Master of pacing.

Following that banger of a match with MJF is... not really a fun time for me
