  1. Now this is just getting ridiculous. There's no reason we should still be talking about Matt D taking over Portland. It's fairly obvious from the fact that put up zero effort to keep a claim on it he wasn't really interested in doing this project full time.
  2. This is why I like the takeover idea. ICW died and the Poffos all went to Memphis, Southwest crapped out and then Scott Casey & Jose Lothario are in World Class.
  3. How are you going to get the listeners without any HOT TAKES?
  4. You're still only going to get 1 AT MOST 2 people in a draft even if everyone goes into it.
  5. Why does JCP have 2 votes in this? Might as well count goodhelmet's twice then.
  6. That's why I said timeline. 3-4 days tops. But I don't really care, I think it's more interesting to have a takeover. There's STILL a draft afterwards it's not like they take the whole 20+ man roster.
  7. "Bro, how lame is a cowbell in the middle of a chain match? Nobody in New York even knows what a cowbell is. Bro! How hardcore would it be if we put a CHAIR there instead?!"
  8. Maybe we should just put it to a vote (on a timeline so we aren't waiting forever for 1 or 2 people)
  9. I hope Taker cuts a promo tonight explaining he came back to get revenge for Brock breaking his younger brother's ankle last week I feel like that's an even worse route to go. I mean the last time they were REALLY connected was Undertaker's last full time run which ended in him losing a Buried Alive match to Kane after a really long feud.
  10. He's an UN Fabulous Rougeau Brother
  11. I like this method too. It's not like there would a "fair" dispersal of talent if a promotion were to actually go out of business. If guys wanted to stay around that area they'd go to the next closest territory. Besides, you can only get "lucky" once.
  12. I liked this although I was a little disappointed in just how much stooging & stalling Gino did in this match. There were definitely some fun spots in this though, especially Gino getting crotched on the top rope. I also watched Iceman King Parsons vs. Dale Veasey. It was a 6 minute match that happened. That's all I got.
  13. You could sell the fact that Undertaker coming for Brock is a big personal feud. If it was last year's SummerSlam. By now it's been 16 months since Undertaker lost to Brock and he already came back at this year's WrestleMania and wrestled someone else so why should I see this as "Taker's revenge!" and not the shitty, lazy "we need to get out of giving a real finish for this month's PPV main event" thing that it really is.
  14. The more I think about this show, the more I think I'm done even attempting to keep up with current WWE. Most of the stuff that people have really liked in WWE lately hasn't done much for me, I thought the Cena/Owens series was all downhill after the first one & that the Cesaro/Cena matches weren't all that great either. I love Cena but his shit feels so samey now with everyone pushing him to the limit with a ton of big 2.9 kickouts. It's not dramatic to me at all. I just want to see them stop fucking around with Roman Reigns and actually give him a push but instead the crowd wants to cheer "worst act in WWE" Bray Wyatt over him and continue shitting on Reigns because "We're really smart!" so that's probably not going to happen. If they listen to the internet and actually turn Reigns heel then I'll know for sure there's no more reason for me to expect them to do anything I'll like.
  15. The 2 gimmick matches are both great, doesn't look like they had anything else in Houston from that year except the 6 man I didn't like. I think JYD must have bailed in between the Dog Collar match and the 8/3/84 show that has this main event: Steel Cage Match: Hacksaw Duggan d. Butch Reed - which I assume was supposed to be JYD instead of Duggan based on Duggan also working Hercules earlier on the card
  16. I hope it's fucking awful. Like "let's start firing people" awful.
  17. Undertaker needs to lose a Buried Alive match and stay buried.
  18. Old ass decrepit Undertaker getting his win back over Brock would be the dumbest shit ever. They should have just taken all those millions on Brock's new contract and set it on fire on top of the Titan Tower if that's their plan.
  19. WOW so glad I dropped my WWE Network subscription and spent the last 3 hours watching NWAClassics.com matches and reading this thread. This shit isn't even worth stealing.
  20. This is why I have never wanted to see this match, didn't understand why other people wanted to see it, and do not give a fuck what happens tonight because if it isn't "Brock absolutely destroys Rollins like his name is Barry Horowitz" then it's stupid.
  21. Barbarian John Nord vs. Shawn Michaels is less than 2 minutes but if you want to watch a squash match, this isn't a bad one to watch. Nord does some cool power stuff and Shawn takes great bumps. Barry Orton vs. Dr. Death 6/8/84 is only 6 minutes but I'm not sure I'd really recommend it. I mean it's ok but nothing memorable, Dr. Death isn't good yet.
  22. It's not his finish and never has been, it's just a signature move. Well it's lame as fuck I do not agree. When he doesn't overdo by hitting it like 5 times in one match I like it. Especially if he doesn't telegraph it.
  23. It's not his finish and never has been, it's just a signature move.
  24. I actually really liked Sheamus/Orton. Thought the tag match was alright. I don't have a Network sub so if the consensus is Reigns/Wyatt sucks I probably won't catch any of this show at all. I like Sheamus but not enough to go out of my way to watch him against Orton.
  25. The only thing I care about on this show is if Reigns can drag something good out of Wyatt and what happens with Brock. Cena/Owens lost me last month.
