This is Billy Corgan wishing he'd never gotten on the TNA train going straight to nowhere

Turning Austin heel when The Rock was going to be off making a movie leaving a gigantic void at the top babyface position and driving off a large portion of their audience in the process.

You can't use other people's poor decisions as a basis for how to book your own talent though. I got a lot of good talent at the very end of the real draft while other people were taking pure jobbers. Ron Starr was more talented than anyone in the dispersal draft not named Eric Embry. That doesn't mean I'm going to decide he sucks just because Carl Fergie went before him.

Poor Billy Two Eagles. At least Dylan was going to have him do more than look up at the lights. Sad waste of talent

Is Hogan going to be able to protect himself if someone on the New Japan roster decides to shoot on him and take the AWA title by force? Something I think Verne may want to think about before letting his champion go to Japan with the belt....

The Wade Smeltzer Flaming Spectator Newsletter Issue #2

I hope Parv never sends you a story. I can't imagine he wrote any of that WWF stuff himself and it's all hilarious. -
Butch Reed apparently had some issues with Bill Dundee as the booker so that might have played into it. I know in his shoot interview he said that Bill Dundee got Barbarian all hyped up to really lay into Reed in their match and after that Butch Reed went back to the locker room and threatened to kick Dundee's ass for it.

Well asking for way above what you think you can get is kind of standard operating procedure when you sue. You always expect the damages to be reduced from what you ask so you go way high.
-
Really didn't care too much for the 2 out of 3 falls Superstar Graham vs. Dusty Rhodes match. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're a huge fan of either guy as it's pretty long, going over 20 minutes.

Joe Blanchard thinks it would be best for MACW not to choose a side in this, especially the wrong one. Joe also wants to know what the hell is a Wikipedia? Fans in Canada are way more familiar with Ron Starr than Steamboat or Larry.
-
I really liked everything about the 6-7 Lucha Underground episodes that I watched except the matches. I couldn't stay interested as I just don't think the wrestling style is ever going to mesh with me.
-
Joe Blanchard told me he thinks this is absolute bull shit. If Ron Starr is a good enough opponent for Fujinami he's good enough for Steamboat. He's considering this another black mark against those on their high horse in New York. I'll be spending the rest of the day talking him out of cutting off all ties with the WWF.

It's been 2 days. I think any speculation that he's going to get the permanent "Benoit treatment" is very premature.
-
they'll all be written out by august 1 when the merger goes official Cool, just wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page.
-
There are a lot of editors & producers who get paid to do that and are getting it way wrong. I'm not sure that a jury could do any worse.
-
Who cares about Greg we want Wendell!! Also who the heck is Charles Buffong? EDIT: Ahh mostly worked in Canada. Totally outside my wheelhouse.

Ok cool he's yours to use until I get to a place to write him in. Glad that saves me the trouble of trying to force him in, now I can just wait until I have an opening.
-
That works for me. I don't have a definite date in mind for when I want to bring him in, are you ok working off a deal where I give you 2 weeks notice to write him out? Right now I'm thinking you'll have him 4-6 weeks but it could be longer.
-
I would very much like to see a Bockwinkel vs. Bret Hart match in 1983. I enjoy the thought of Lord Alfred & El Gran Apollo sitting next to each other on flights to PA.
-
Ron Starr is a great pickup for me but right now I don't really have anywhere to slot him into my plans. If anyone is wanting to pick him up for the next 3-4 weeks let me know. Looking at Georgia, Southeastern or possibly Maple Leaf as a destination as I'd really rather him do something more significant than just jobs.
-
Are there any War Machine matches I should go out of my way to check out? Not sure why but that's the one act in ROH that interests me the most as a guy who only really reads results.
-
I know who you're referring to, but I'm in a similar spot where if I take him I have to come up with something for him to do and its just not a good fit at the moment. Well I'll just have to figure it out because the rest of the field was pretty much just going to be jobbers for me. I'm probably 2nd to Dylan as far as people involved with this who were high on Billy Two Eagles' talent but he has less value to Southwest than any other promotion due to the fact that he's been a jobber there already without a mask and with one.
-
Yes, you always have the option to pass. And for anyone wondering I'm just waiting for this to be over to update the big roster thread all at one time.
-
I hope you do pick him because if he falls to MACW he'll probably be used as a jobber. Why would you want to use Rotten Ron Starr as a jobber? He's solid midcard. Could have a good feud with Scott Casey.
