I have no idea how WWF at the time would have handled the debut of The Shockmaster but I would have loved to hear Vince himself try and cover for it on commentary.

If no one planned on following the great wrestling traditions of mocking & trash talking your competition this wouldn't be as fun. There's no way 19 promotions would all be friendly and on good terms with each other.

MS-1 vs. Sangre Chicana (9.23.83) Tony Salazar vs. Herodes (3.2.84) Sangre Chicana vs. Perro Aguayo (Hair vs. Hair) (2.28.86) La Fiera vs. Babyface (8.15.86) Arandu vs. Guerrero Negro (1988) And that's just the stuff that made my top 20! Give me an awesome lucha brawl over an "epic" Misawa match any day.

I will have lucha guys on my list but I don't know if El Dandy will be one of them honestly. I need to get back to his 1990 that I was watching but he has only 1 match that I have really loved so far.

I haven't seen anything of note on Southwest TV. I really liked them in Mid-South but there wasn't enough there to put them on a list like this. Maybe something will pop up on NWAClassics since I am fairly sure I saw some listings that had them against Ken Lucas & Ricky Morton.

I'm in the same camp as Matt D. I respect how they've managed to just do their own thing and say "fuck you" to anyone who doesn't like it. That said, I don't want to watch their matches at all.

I wasn't really planning on submitting a ballot but I'm starting to think about how i can justify it more and more. If there are people who aren't really going to watch any lucha or include any luchadores surely I can do the same thing with puro?
