Wow I know someone else who is gonna be upset about half of the Hi Flyers being gone. Tonga John is kinda not good yet at this point in 1983 but I see the logic of wanting to put him with King Tonga and Tonga is definitely good enough you can kind of hide Barbarian behind him as the lesser member of the team for a while.

More than anything, I would just like to draft people I would enjoy booking and Chavo just honestly didn't fit the bill for me.

He was someone I considered for Southwest's "latino draw" after Tito went off the board but I have a dark horse candidate for that since I knew Chavo was going to go before I wanted to take him anyway.

I'm not trying to get to know all 400+ names, just some of the ones I have seen before but only once or twice.

Trying to do research on some of the names on the list I know very little of now realizing that the late rounds are going to get rather obscure. KrisZ likely has the best advantage in that regard, I would guess he's seen the most footage of everyone in this.

JVK as much as I have my eye on you and your possible expansionist intentions, you are my favorite drafter. With the exception of Jack Brisco, you have made me erase no one off of my possible draft pick choices. And in the case of Brisco, probably gave me better options in the long run.

At this point Mr. Saito is going to be teaming with my last pick of "random name I don't know" in a Ninja costume as my Fabs opponents. I guess it's not that bad. I doubt a real life Brisco Brothers vs. Fabs feud could have delivered in the ring. Dr. D & Dennis Condrey would have been aces though.

Done! Southwest simply asks that you accommodate Mr. Saito with first class travel arrangements and have someone waiting at the airport to pick him up. I hope the Montreal fans enjoy a chance to see one of Japan's top talents.

Mr. Saito would be a great opponent for a one shot at the Omni against Butch Reed or Paul Orndorff!

Bob Sweetan was at least another 5 rounds down on my board so I can't be that upset not getting him. Definitely not enough to where I wish I'd have taken him over Saito, who I can use to do anything. Be Tully's bodyguard/enforcer, Duggan opponent, team with whatever last round scrub I get to put under a mask as a Ninja.

I find Boon's strict adherence to the realities of Southeastern to be on the one hand refreshing and on the other somewhat troubling for my mid-late round ideas.

I was quite willing to job Tully, and still am. Tully is still available for outside dates as long as they are coordinated in advance. Saito...I don't know. It would depend on who it is and the circumstances. I have to worry about being seen as a bad handler for Japanese talent. He can job. Just not to everyone and not under any and all circumstances.

Mr. Saito is available for outside dates like one shots such as tournaments or as a special one night partner in a tag or 6 man for very little (maybe nothing) in return as long as dates can be coordinated in advance. His wrestling pay off, transportation and accommodations are to be paid for by you and should be first class. For more extended periods of weeks at a time a talent trade of someone of equal value would need to be arranged. Mr. Blanchard doesn't need private negotiations and would like to handle any Saito requests here.

Saito is the WWF's fault. I was going to attempt to see if a heels Brisco Brothers vs. Fabs feud could overcome the style clash. So they will also be responsible for whatever I do in the 6th.
