And there is also a difference between having a "good undercard match" and working above your level by doing a bunch of stuff that's reserved for the main event. I never heard anyone talk about being yelled at for having a good match SPECIFICALLY, it was mostly for doing shit they weren't supposed to be doing in the undercard. Like brawling around the ring, using weapons, getting color, doing too many high spots, etc.

I do not expect Tyrus to actually get that title shot, suspect it's going to lead to some kind of angle with either Tyrus & EC3 turning babyface as they argue over who should get the title shot.

They didn't want him to overshadow Roman Reigns either

I'm sure some people are gonna bitch about a former WWE star being the TNA World Champ but I'm pretty happy for Matt Hardy. I mean it's not like being the TNA 'World' Champ really means that much but I suspect it does to him and he's still probably their best chance to draw a decent crowd to a house show (along with Jeff) And it's not like EC3 didn't have a good run, with an incredibly long undefeated streak and beating Kurt Angle to win the belt in the first place. He's as already been made as big of a star as TNA can possibly create.

I'm hoping for Kevin Owens/Cesaro to be the next IC title feud personally. I mean eventually they are gonna move Owens on from the Ryback feud and I'm not sure what other babyfaces there are at that level other than Neville.

Is the validation process working ok? I've seen a few names in yellow popping up at the bottom of the fantasy threads lately (Super Stan being the latest one) and I know the last person I told to sign up here told me he had an issue getting validated (NWATerritorySuperFan)

I watched this a while back and it was ok. Really about the most basic undercard match you can have but that's what it was supposed to be really. But then after having watched a lot of Scott Casey in the build up to the fantasy draft since he was a mainstay of Southwest, I would say Casey is one of the most "basic" wrestlers I've ever seen. Even Steve Pardee felt more interesting as a worker.

Tyrus winning the Gauntlet almost makes me think Galloway is gonna win the title and then Tyrus gives his shot to EC3. Or they get really LOLTNA and have EC3 demand the shot and Tyrus refuses and goes babyface and do a feud that will be awful since Tyrus is the dirt worst and EC3 really isn't that good (in the ring, as a character he's really one of the best in TNA AND WWE) and has to be in there with someone better than him to have a good match.

Probably a little bit of both. And I absolutely don't blame them for not rushing him back into the main event scene before seeing whether he would be able to hold up. The only thing they fucked up on was not waiting until after the Rumble to bring him back.

Some of ya'll really need to consider whether a guy who openly brags about trying to hide concussions and has had probably over 50 of them might not be the most credible source on whether or not he's ready to come back.

They would have at least had a match or two on Raw or Smackdown but maybe not on PPV. Bryan was supposed to get a long run with the IC title.

I didn't realize that KrisZ's stuff with Timothy Flowers & Pablo the manservant was all his own idea. Big props to Kris on that, probably the best original gimmick anyone has had in the game. I was considering taking Flowers and continuing that gimmick but once I realized it wasn't based off anything Flowers ever actually did I figured there was no way I could really pull it off as well as Kris without having some footage to crib off of.

peachchaos just traded me his pick in exchange for use of Duke Myers through the end of the year and so upon realizing I can't write KrisZ's Timothy Flowers w/Pablo gimmick as well as he was doing it I will take: 'Gentleman' Jim Holliday

Good to see my boys finally get some revenge on The Wild Bills even if it wasn't a title match. Those fuckers had a beating coming to them.
