It's not hurting anyone to have promotions who aren't caught up. What is the point of trying to run them out when there is still the possibility they could get caught up? If the problem is not having enough active promotions then how does forcing people out solve it?

I don't really feel like that's the most constructive thing right now as you're more likely to discourage someone from making a catch up effort than anything. If someone said on the last round of things that they were going to get caught up when they had time then give them the benefit of the doubt. It's not like we have new writers waiting in the wings.

I guess now would be an opportune time to bump this thread and make a call for anyone interested in joining the project. Including guests who have been reading along but aren't signed up on the board yet.

I was never going to take more than about 4-5 guys off the WCCW roster anyway so I'm not gonna be mad if we change it to everyone going into a draft.

It says in the take over topic that you can't get a second merger before everyone else has had one. So Wahoo isn't really in the running for the talent.

Well I have no idea how this merger is supposed to work because peachchaos is also gonna drop out soon, he told me in a PM a couple days ago

Well that's both people who INSISTED they were in this for the "long haul!" gone now so I guess it should be about 2 more months before it's like 3 of us left.

Lots of people are behind though. You don't have to post daily shows if that's what was contributing to you getting backed up, just run TV and build to a big show every month or something.

Why not just scale back since it seems like your big expansion and running 2 TV shows is what killed it for you?? The project would be much better off even if you just did 1 show a week than just dropping out completely and losing another promotion because you couldn't do all the big grandiose plans you put on yourself.

I liked this a lot, really fun little match. The heels didn't really bring much in terms of offense but still had a pretty good heat segment on Fulton. And yea, that Gilbert bump off the initial punch exchange with Fulton was amazing.

I liked the Reed matches although I thought the finish to the 1 hour draw made Reed look really stupid. The Taylor matches did not do nearly as well on my ballot as they did in the overall voting but then I was one of the most vocal anti-Taylor participants so take that for what it's worth. (Although the second match with Chris Adams from the very end of UWF made my top 10 if I remember correctly)

I forgot to mention I also watched the Dirty White Boys vs. Brickhouse Brown/Tony Torres match a while back. It was pretty good, not anything great like the TA/II vs. Midnights matches but a fun watch. The DWBs are a fun brawling team who I always like and Torres was better than expected as the FIP with some good bumping which was enough for me to pick him up off the free agent wire in the fantasy project. If he's good enough for Paul Boesch he's good enough for me.

Man that No DQ 10 Lashes Magnum TA/Wrestling II vs. Midnight Express match was great. The ending is not the same as the one from the Mid-South DVD. I liked the match from January but this one was even better. Great use of the No DQ stip without ever doing anything too crazy or having the match get too out of control. This match had II as the hot tag and man he was great at it. The finish seemed a bit lacking but I think that's also because the camera missed something. The post match was milked for all it was worth. This was one of my favorite matches that's been uploaded so far.

I watched it a few weeks ago when the main event was Drew Galloway vs. Chris Masters. Match wasn't as good as their 2011 Superstars match but I thought the show as a whole was actually not that bad. The KO division still seems to be one of their better aspects and EC3 might be the best heel in wrestling right now. I still maintain that he's way better as a heel World Champion than Rollins. Like EC3 could probably actually do well with all that TV time they keep giving Rollins, while Rollins makes me want to just change the channel so I can do anything but listen to him talk.

This is the first month I'm just going to pass on.

I'm not advocating that people spoil their plans in here to keep the rosters updated, just that once the move is officially made and both parts are moved to post it in here.

That is why I encourage everyone who wants them to upload more territory footage to subscribe to NWAClassics. I mean the service by itself is fucking awesome and you'll very much enjoy it but if it becomes enough of a success then we all know it's in WWE's petty nature to decide to try and steal it's subscribers by suddenly going crazy uploading Mid-South stuff.

Yea I've seen the end of the match before but not the whole thing.

The 6 month swap of Fidel Sierra for Mike Davis has now been made permanent. Mike Davis will be staying in ICW and Fidel Sierra will be staying in Southwest. We have also traded Omar Atlas for The Grappler (Len Denton)

Watched the 1/27 TA/II vs. Midnights match and it was really good. I thought that Magnum doing an atomic drop to Bobby Eaton on a chair in the middle of the ring right in front of the ref was a little questionable but overall I enjoyed the match a lot. The babyfaces got a ton of shine in the early going which is something I always love. Got distracted and didn't watch the new upload from 2/24 yet except for the first few minutes to see that it's a "Losers get 5 lashes match." As far as I can tell neither of these matches were released before at least not that I have seen. I watched a match between the two teams from Houston a month or 2 ago in a giant Midnight Express comp but it was different from both of the matches up on the site.

I already have Mascaras booked on the 10th and already wrote the whole TV taping that includes him.
