  1. I'm not sure if Jack's actually dead. I think he just had a heart attack like Russ Haas did and had to retire.
  2. They need to start having organized activities when they go overseas. The trips are always disasters because the guys get over there and can basically only having drinking as an option to amuse themselves.
  3. At least the WWF can still completely justify my complete lack of faith in them. People are screaming for Misterio to get the belt but of course they give it to the guy who's lucky to get mid-card heat.
  4. I forgot to mention this earlier. But this DVD made me realize that Ricky Steamboat was probably the best "worked shoot" injury seller I've ever seen.
  5. I don't think Big Show is on the roids.
  6. Yeah I don't know where they'll go with it. Though giving Brown a rub would be good. If I were them I'd just have Team Canada get involved leading to Christian/Brown vs. Team Canada.
  7. I think you're being naive then. I think almost everyone would be stunned if a list with every WWF wrestler on steroids were released tomorrow. I'd say at least 3/4 of the roster is on them.
  8. I think it's obvious he was doing steroids. I think most of the WWF roster is as a matter of keeping their jobs. It's just a sad fact of life.
  9. I would love for Jim Ross to just say "fuck it" and totally throw Vince under the bus when his contract expires next year.
  10. I didn't watch it. No offense to anyone here but the WWF doing a tribute show really rings hollow with me. After the way they've ignored several recent wrestler deaths and the back patting that went on over the Owen show I just don't feel like watching.
  11. The bookers are pissed at him because he keeps showing his upper body for whatever reason.
  12. Because, you can't have five minute matches as upper card stuff for PPVs. If Lashley hits the higher cards he has to start selling. Kennedy will have to be completely repackaged when this gimmick dies out. You can't push completely unproven talent to the top. They've been on Smackdown for a couple of months. You don't need to totally burn through years of their careers because of an injury and a death. Plus they've shown no capacity to carry a show on their backs.
  13. Lashley is in no way ready to be above a mid-carder. He barely has a grasp on how to work and he'd die horribly in a match longer than 5 minutes. Kennedy's ok but I don't think his gimmick has staying power.
  14. So with Batista hurt, Christian in TNA and Eddie passing away there's a huge void left on Smackdown. If Benoit walks this month that's another upper card guy down. This leaves JBL, Matt Hardy, Rey Misterio, Booker T and Randy Orton as the main guys left. So what do they do. Finally end the split or import Raw stars.
  15. It kind of makes sense with that tidbit about them sitting in a car together a few weeks ago. Sounds like they're getting disgruntled.
  16. I hate that Funk/Sabu match with a passion. Just an awful awful match. It's funny that they could string together a couple of DVDs filled with great matches if they'd just give WCW a chance but we have to settle for a couple of garbage fest ECW DVDs.
  17. Shit happens. Though the Holly incident stands out more because of the way Angle whined and whined and whined and even had his wife publicly attack RVD over a couple of bloody lips a year later.
  18. I think Angle breaking Bob Holly's arm on a botched moonsault is worse than most of Jericho's mess ups.
  19. I'd say Brock Lesnar was infinately superior in the ring than Angle was. He sold better and his matches had better flows to them.
  20. Ha, Angle is the single most overrated wrestler in the world. He's even more so than Kobashi is right now. He doesn't even begin to touch the worst performance of Samoa Joe. Angle has no grasp of selling and most days is little better than a spot monkey. If you need to see how overrated he is just go back to last year when he complained to management that Guerrero was staying down to sell moves instead of popping right back up so he could hit another suplex.
  21. Not necessarily. They made Hulkamania shirts and that went with Hogan to WCW.
  22. Storyline wise I think you award it to Guerrero under the pretense that he's just the interim champ until Batista recovers. Then when Batista comes back Eddie turns heel and refuses to give the belt back leading into a Mania match or something similiar. I see them giving it to Orton or JBL though.
  23. I wonder if they'll actually give Eddie another run with the belt now that Batista's hurt or will we get stuck with JBL again.
  24. Jarrett/Brown's going to be in December probably.
  25. Depending on what you're doing. Between Brown and between the X Division Champion. Place his matches 2nd or 3rd on the cards and have him rarely lose with hints that he's going to challenge for the title soon.
