"I've taken a left jab. I've taken a right jab. But Don't-uhh let your kids get the jab"

Did you ever imagine there would come a time when you could say things like "Man, I miss Dan Severns 1400 day reign with the NWA Title" or "Whatever happened to respectable NWA Champions like The Colorado Kid" and while those things wouldn't actually be true, the NWA would somehow actually be shittier than what it was then.

Is there any particular reason this ring announcer has her hair done like Dr. Seuss Beyond Thunderdome? I miss Howard Finkel -

WWE/NXT/AAA Worlds Collide and WWE Money in the Bank 2025

So I watched and enjoyed the Worlds Collide show (except for the Psycho Clown match, cause I can't stand that guy) but I just decided to look at the 411 review of the show, and Holy Shit, the people they have reviewing shows now are out of their fucking minds. I know star ratings are subjective, but seriously.... Iguana/Aerostar/Octagon vs Lince/Del Toro/Dragon Lee - 4 1/4 Vaquer/Vice vs Dalys/Tormenta - 3 1/2 Legado vs Psycho/Pagano/Wagner - 3 1/2 Page vs Evans vs Laredo vs Fenix - 4 3/4 Vikingo vs Gable - 5 -
But....but.... budget cuts!

The Claudio Castagnoli/Kommander match from Collision last night was something to behold. IMO, most weeks Kommander hits his two spots then looks like he doesn't know his left from right. Last night Claudio made him look like 1998 Rey Jr. A highly entertaining carry job

The Ricochet/Briscoe Stretcher match is so stange to me, because I don't recall them having any interaction before this week, and now.... Stretcher Match?

You are correct, I will respond again, one last time. Just to say that I'm proud of you Kevin. Proud that after all these years, you finally had the balls to confront someone in public instead of just talking shit about them via PM because you are so deathly afraid that if you disagree with anyone they'll quit and your precious game will fall apart. Maybe next you'll tell Rain and LowBlow what you really think of their shows! I only wish I'd saved those messages so I could screenshot and show them myself.
-
I do believe if you look at every rookie thread in this exact forum, you'll find that it is in fact you who is in there going "Oh so and so debuted this year" and "It appears Insert Name Here started wrestling this year" because obviously you wanted them in the game, so that you could use them and start pushing them years before they should have been on anyone's radar. Most of the guys on your roster should be working tiny independent shows, setting up rings, and training. Crash Holly, Tommy Dreamer, and all of these guys getting sustained pushes alongside Barry Windham and The Midnight Express in the 1980's is ridiculous and it never should have been allowed. But somehow, LowBlow wanting to use Rey Mysterio is just a step too far? I think maybe you're just mad that you don't have the first draft pick this year, and wouldn't be able to get him yourself.
-
I'm sure the guy who has pushed to get all of these people into the game YEARS before they should have been in it, and then traded to get as many draft picks as he could EVERY year so he could get them on his roster because he obviously wants to be writing an ECW Attitude Era diary would... safely say that. I mean, who can forget Waylon Mercy, a gimmick based on a movie that came out in 1991... making his debut in 1986.....

---So until a wrestler wresltes in the U.S. or Canada they are not eligible for our promotions. So I would say no--- Well by that criteria... William Regal is disqualified until 1994, Konnan until 1996, Fit Finlay until 1996, Dave Taylor until 1995, and Ultimo Dragon until 1996 but they all are currently being used. Then let's not forget the 10 match policy, yet somehow Dan Severn has been in the game since like 1986, despite not starting in professional wrestling until 1992. Then I won't even bring up the fucking Beulah thing again..... But yeah, Rey Mysterio Jr..... that'd be unrealistic!

If they'd leave the RoH titles in Ring of Honor, drop the Trios Titles that aren't really working, and unify the Continental and International Titles (which seems like it might be coming)..... Womens Tag Titles would feel fresh and new in a now uncluttered landscape. At least IMO

Going to use this opportunity since it's timely and shill for my buddy and fellow board member @GeneJackson95 who has authored a book about Eddie Gilbert with the help of Doug Gilbert that will be releasing next month.... https://www.tinyurl.com/EddieGilbertBook

So last night while inducting Michelle McCoole into the Hall of Fame, Undertaker while discussing how hard she worked to make it said "My Wife didn't come in with a famous last name." and the camera immediately cut to Natalya sitting in the audience. Wow. I think if I were her, I'd take that personally. I also think maybe Taker shouldn't kid himself. If he were fucking Kelly Kelly, we'd have been inducting her instead

While I feel like AEW needs to get rid of a ton of titles, I actually think Womens Tag Titles would be a good idea for then. TayJay, Julia and Skye, could put Red Velvet and Kiera Hogan back together, and a lot of the other girls they aren't using could be utilized in a tag division.

Come on @El-P you can't tell me that you never saw a bar fight or a fight at school end with a.... Sharp Shooter. -
I saw the video. Her boyfriend seems like a total fucking douchebag who thinks he is absolutely hilarious. They are walking through what I think is Disney and are being filmed for some reason and the boyfriend is saying all kinds of stupid offensive shit through the whole video, and she is giggling at him like a smitten school girl. He fist bumps what appears to be a person with downs and then looks at the camera and says something along the lines of "I think he just growled at me bro!" Not taking up for her, but it's hard to tell if she is actually laughing at the person, or just giggling at her boyfriend. My take is that the boyfriend is a piece of shit, and she is just stupid. Which I hate to see since she is a graduate of the University in the town I live. (Sigh)

What happened with Jazmyn Nyx?

So my guess would be... Athena costs Mercedes the tournament final (to Statlander of course, because Statlander must win everything) and then we get Athena/Mercedes 2 in Texas with all of their multiple times on the line. and Ospreay/Takeshita.... Holy Shit

Of the recently released people, the only one I'd like to see is Isla Dawn cause I think a potential stable with Julia Hart and Skye Blue would work. of people I could see WWE releasing, the only ones that interest me at all are Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate.

I literally just finished Tony's book last week, and it ends with him in such a good place, totally content with his life and so happy and thankful for having his wife in his life. So god damn, the ending of that episode was a unexpected kick in the feelings.

El-P is 100% correct that it happens every day, probably multiple times a day. If Chris Benoit had been a banker from Idaho, none of us would even know his name unless we lived in the area or were part of the family. But, I think Sek hits the nail on the head. Up to that point the rat stories, the bullying, the racism, and so on, and so on, and on and on and on.... Were able to be attributed to just certain "bad" guys or was just chalked up to "boys being boys" or "those wacky wrestlers" or whatever other disconnect we as fans chose to justify liking terrible people. The Benoit situation was something so horrible, so unfathomable that it couldn't be ignored or chalked up and conveniently forgotten about so that we could go on rating matches or whatever. As to the original post and sussing out feelings on the whole situation, speaking only in the context of professional wrestling, I've mostly come to feel bad for Nancy, in the terms that as Woman she was a very good manager. She was entertaining, she was well spoken, she was fun to watch with Sullivan, with The Steiners, with Sandman, and with Flair. She deserves to be remembered for her contributions to the business, but now any mention of her name will only bring to mind a singular thing and it is absolutely unfair to her legacy.
