Calling six man tags "Trios" OUTSIDE the context of Lucha

I will say Lashley gave him WAY more than I anticipated. But he still beat him with the Full Nelson, which hasn't been relevant since 1987. Then on the outside, MVP laid out Ricochet with one punch, and then broke his cane over his back. Meanwhile Shelton superkicked Bishop, and then beat him up some more.....and most likely they'll go over at the PPV too. In closing, and as always..... Fuck The Hurt Syndicate. The sooner they are out of AEW, the better.

Almost as snooty as that post you just wrote. -
If only Trent Knight and Snake Brown had still been around in that era.

TK is Tony Khan who owns the promotion. Excalibur is the masked commentator, and he is really quite good. But since you just like to spout off Cornette talking points when it comes to AEW, you'll never be convinced of that. -
I assume this is where we get the Statlander heel turn and she wins the belt with help from Yuta or Shafir, and this way they can do it without Toni taking the pin. I hope I'm wrong, but TK apparently loves him some Statlander as she wins every fucking thing else.

They uploaded a compilation of Battle Royals the other day that has two gems on it. The first is a luchadore battle royal from WCW Worldwide (I think) that has Dusty absolutely losing his shit for El Dandy and it's hilarious. The second is a 10 man battle royal from an episode of WCW Pro, that is the perfect illustration of why WCW didn't make it as the list of participants were: Disco Inferno, Dave Sullivan, Cobra, Mark Starr, Frankie Lancaster, Nasty Ned, Fidel Sierra, Ricky Santana, James Earl Wright, and Buddy Lee Parker

The rumor seems to be that Arez will be playing "evil" Hologram and I am all for that. I've been a fan of his work for a few years now, and his past matches against Hologram when he was Aramis were always a ton of fun.

Holy Hell that Bandido/Hechicero match was fantastic. Just wanted to come in here and say that!

I'll take "Going to the Pay Winduh" and "He hit'em with a commode lid!' over "Shucky Ducky Quack Quack" and "Awwwww Yeah Mannnn!!" (repeated 75 times per show) any day of the week.

MVP interfered in the Opps/GOA and Ricochet trios match. So unfortunately, much like The Death Riders, it would appear that Hurt Syndicate isn't done yet.

I might be in the minority here, but I think I am going to hate these 2300 shows. This crowd is trying way too hard to be an ECW crowd, and it's just obnoxious. Those crowds were a product of their time and all of the loud swearing and non-stop chanting in the world isn't going to make you what they were. Furthermore, the place just looks way too clean and sanitized. It's a total disconnect. It doesn't even resemble what they so desperately want it to be. It's going to be a long two weeks.

Thank You! I would take a Herb Abrams/Mark Madden commentary team over having to listen to Booker T's nonsense. He is unbearable.

Genuine emotion for Ospreay right there. Really hope he can come back on the other side of that surgery.

Is Callis just going to manage every heel in the company?

Could there be fire to all the "Hurt Syndicate doesn't wan't to job" smoke? Cause all this confusion certainly seems like some last minute bullshit

Having been there for Nigel's retirement match in a dingy, shithole VFD back in 2011..... that was awesome to see. Great match. Love both guys.

Alex Windsor is...not good. I really hope Mercedes moves on to someone else now.

Jericho (and TK) absolutely fucked Big Bill and Bryan Keith leaving the way he did. The pop that was building for that turn was going to be massive and then just leaving to zero comeuppance left the two of them looking like a couple of asshats not to mention them being left totally directionless.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4

AZM made her Stardom debut at 11 in 2013 -
The FTR/Brodido match from Dynamite was fantastic. Definitely worth your time if you want to see some good current wrestling this week. Also good to see that Luchasaurus is healthy and back at it and man this Alex Windsor girl is....not good.

I'm really hoping Justin Roberts can sell that superkick and be off TV for at least a decade.

Can this guy please go back to making 72 posts a day about French and British wrestling that I can ignore, instead of showing his ignorance in threads I actually have interest in reading the discourse in?

With this company, we're probably lucky she's not eating French Fries

At this point I really feel like they should just put The Acclaimed back together. Bowens has floundered, and Caster has really only gotten being a loser over through sheer force of will and it has taken over a year to do it. They were better off together. I also miss Caster shitting on Trump.
