  1. The fucking crowd counting down like this is the Rumble and making the buzzer noise is fucking hilarious...
  2. The game comes with a roster of 30 generic wrestlers. I believe there will be 30 NJPW wrestlers in the initial release, with more supposedly to come with the Junior DLC. Then on Steam you can find virtually anyone, and your roster size is only limited by your hard drive (supposedly, though the 5000 limit thing I posted above will likely come before you fill your hard drive!)
  3. It really isn't super graphics intensive or a resources hog, as long as you aren't trying to stream it or anything. My old laptop ran it just fine and it was a piece of shit. Two things people should keep in mind though... 1) Installing the mods (while they are awesome) can and does cause crashes, which can erase your save file. 2) Having above 5000 CAW's (I know, it seems insane to me too, but people do it!) can cause the opening screen where it loads all of your content to take several days each time you turn the game on. It doesn't always happen when you have that many edits, but 5k seems to be the magic number when it starts randomly happening to people.
  4. There is a Jimmy Golden that has Bunkhouse Buck as it's 4th attire, but it isn't very good. If you are looking for edits, may I make the following suggestions.... Captain Howdy has probably the best looking classic edits you will find covering the Mid 80's - the Mid 90's (I assume he will get around to Bunkhouse Buck eventually. He made Yoshi Kwan for fuck's sake!!) The Avenger3 has a nice mix of modern indy dudes, current WWE and TNA guys, and some other shit tossed in for fun. Senator's Workshop has a link to both his wrestling edits which encompass a ton of era's and his MMA and Boxing edits which are quite frankly amazing, especially if you are a boxing fan, cause this guy has done a TON of research. and lastly, DJKM77 and his metric shit ton of edits. These are not the highest quality in the looks division, but they sim well and he has everyone from Stanislaus Zbyszko to Barry Horowitz
  5. Yes. Basic gameplay remains the same. At least for now. I don't know if the New Japan update and console release will bring about changes. They are promising an update along with that, but it seems to just be in the User Interface.
  6. If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to stream some matches on Twitch if you want to see what the game has to offer. I've made over 70 caw's myself, most of which are set for a more modern style (though they are personal creations, not actual wrestlers) and I can download virtually anyone if there are requests.
  7. Beat up and read numerous times over, I still have all 12 issues in my collection! Great book.
  8. That is true, it just seems like you don't hear 205 get mentioned much anywhere. Which sucks, cause the show has been very good ever since the title tournament began before Mania.
  9. I have 485 hours logged on World. But I've created close to 70 CAW's and do a ton of simming. As stated above, they certainly didn't stray far from past games, but it looks fantastic, there is a lot more to come, and the community has created anyone you could ever want from Farmer Burns to Zan Panzer.
  10. Easily. Ever since he showed up on 205, he has been doing some amazing work. I can't recall a bad performance yet, and the match this week was fucking crazy. Credit to Mustafa Ali as well. He is more than doing his part. Fact is, 205 has been great since Enzo got shit canned. It's really a shame that no one seems to be watching it.
  11. This got lost in the previous nonsense, so I will quote it and hope for an answer. Also, not asking where to acquire it, just how much exists. Thanks
  12. How much of the KTVT footage of Dallas/World Class survived? I'm reading Gary Hart's book and have gotten to the parts where he is booking for Fritz and some of the pre-syndicated stuff sounds like it would be cool to see. I have been slowly watching the available World Class on the network, and I realize this is all the syndicated show. So I am just curious what, and how much pre-syndication stuff exists on video.
  13. The "Shoes Off if you Hate Zack Gibson" chant was one of the oddest and funniest things I have ever seen. Both shows were pretty enjoyable. The Shayna/Toni Storm match was a lot of fun.
  14. Ugghh.... The new board doesn't take you to the specific point in the thread where you were last reading, that sucks. But, I'm glad it's back up!!
  15. I've enjoyed both episodes so far, but I do have to agree that it seems like they are rushing things. Aztec Warfare and Grave Consequences in the first 3 episodes. Beating clean in the 2nd episode. The matches feel super edited and fast, even Melissa Santos feels like she is rushing. I dunno, it just seems like the whole thing is in fast forward right now.
  16. Antonio Cueto looks so ridiculous, that I don't even care if he is real or Dario in disguise. Absolutely hilarious, and like El-P said "Very B Movie" I definitely didn't think Aztec Warfare would come out this early in the season, and it unfortunately felt like a whole lot of filler until Fenix showed up. Could have done without Mr. Pec-tacular, and certainly didn't want to see Hernandez again. Dreamer was awesome, and smaller or not, I am so glad to see Cuerno back in the mix. Definitely one of my favorite characters from the show. Not to keen on Muertes going that fast. No Cage, or Aerostar, or Drago? Interesting Pentagon vs Matanza! Yeah, first episode was a little rocky, but it's still L.U. and I am still along for the ride!!

    WWE Hidden Gems

If that means they have a full, non-clipped version of the whole '87 Crockett Cup, that is my new holy grail. First wrestling VHS my parents ever bought me. Still have it in the giant, plastic clamshell packaging! That opening video package to "The Hit" by Richard Myhill still makes me mark out!!

    NXT talk

Adam Cole will be defending the North American Title at an Evolve show against Walter.... maybe WWE can loan him D-Lo's chest protector!
  19. Buddy Murphy going from bland tag team guy in the early days of network NXT to guy who is having amazing performances every single time he is on 205 Live is being slept on by pretty much everyone.....but Holy Shit, Buddy Murphy is fucking awesome!
  20. The guy he is fighting likely wouldn't even be in the UFC if he wasn't being brought in to fight Punk. He is 33 years old, and has an 0-1 MMA record. However, his loss is to the same guy that demolished Punk, and he is apparently a pretty good Muay Thai guy. So, unless Punk has improved significantly, he is probably getting knocked out to end this experiment.
  21. How do you feel about Volk Han, now?
  22. But they have to be wearing ring gear all the time because they never know when.... that match....is going to happen....right now!!!!
  23. I am probably the only one, but I always loved Terry Gordy's Oriental Spike. Simple and effective.
  24. Thanks for the info! Just finished the first episode, not too bad. Super odd hearing Schiavone calling modern indy wrestling!
