No. The opening battle royal, 1 match from the first round, 1 match from the second round, the semi finals, and the finals are on the Network. All of the other first and second round matches are on WWE's YouTube/Facebook/Twitter (your choice) Your best bet would be to watch the first 2 matches on the Network show, then watch the whole YouTube show, and then finish the show on the Network. That will be the closest you can get to watching the show in order (though I still don't think it's in order)

The presentation of this was ridiculous. The battle royal to determine the matches, 1 first round match, and 1 second round match on the network, and all of the rest of the first and second round elsewhere? What the Fuck? Beyond that stupidity, the matches were for the most part a lot of fun. Tyler Bate is a phenominal talent, able to work with anyone. I thought Gulak/Devlin was a fun little heels trying to one up one another kind of match. I hope they realize what they have with Keith Lee pretty soon. I know he hasn't been there that long, but I already feel like they are wasting him. As for Humberto Carillo, they must be all in on this kid, as he got the only first round match on the network show, made his 205 debut in a super competitive match against the champion, and I just can't say I'm impressed yet. Anyway, good concept, good tournament, poorly presented. It would be nice if they would just upload the whole thing in order as it happened.

I like to judge my gimmick posters based on realism in comparison to Volk Han. But seriously, maybe if we acknowledge he is really important, he'll move along?

I can't believe they are worried about The Ascension or Primo Colon going to Ring of Honor and becoming the next Hulk Hogan or anything like thay, so they have to be hording talent for a different reason. If it were to fill out the NXT's and 205's that would make sense, but they just aren't using them. That they are seemingly that worried about the perception of a Zack Ryder going to the Young Bucks promotion just baffles me. It's not going to hurt their bottom line, the fans aren't going to leave them, and it's not going to change the ratings. If this keeps up, and they keep hiring it is going to turn into WCW paying Lanny Poffo to never work a match at the rate we are going.

Does anyone else find it strange how opposed to having any kind of competition Vince and WWE have become? Vince never struck me as a guy who was afraid of a challenge, and during the height of the Monday night era, competition made the business thrive, and WWE rose up and fought back and won, and god knows we have heard the story a billion fucking times, so we know they love that shit. But now they are sitting on a massively bloated roster. They are signing people left and right, seemingly just so they don't sign elsewhere. They hardly ever release anyone unless they do something really stupid. Now there was that rumor today that they are willing to pay guys twice whatever they are being offered if they can show it too them in writing because they are embarrassed Bandido chose RoH over them I just don't get it. For fucks sake, they are the biggest wrestling company on the planet! It's not like a little bit of healthy competition is going to take away the whole fan base. Are they really that worried that they might have to start putting effort into their product again? Am I way off base here? Has it always been this way? What do you guys think?

Pretty sure Grace and Blanchard are signed to TNA, Karen Q, Twister Sisters, and Madison Rayne all work with RoH, and Cheerleader Melissa may still be locked up with Lucha Underground. Otherwise, that's a good list.

I agree. 21 years of the McMahons has me begging to never see it again, or at the very least to see a Jack Tunney type who appears via vignette 3 times a year. But if they are gonna have one, it's a use for J.R. that keeps him off commentary full time.

Since the constantly on-air authority figure roll doesn't seem like it is ever going away, why not put J.R. in that position. It allows them to use his fame with casual fans, call an occasional match, be around enough to justify a contract, and if they are really on TBS they can say that the Network Execs had previous dealings with him, which is how he got the position. As for Excalibur, the guy is hands down the best commentator in the game right now, and... the visual of a dude wearing a suit and a lucha mask is cool as fuck. You want something different from WWE, there you go. Then with that image, Excalibur is a fine name for a dude in a suit and a lucha mask! I just hope they have Chuck Taylor on color commentary.

Precisely. This constant WWE need for everyone to work the same is one of the biggest problems with the company in my opinion. In the early days of the Reigns backlash, if they had done less "suffering succotash" promo's and more Goldberg'esque silent, sudden ass beatings, I think they would have accomplished their #1 babyface goal. Braun Strowman doesn't need to be wrestling classics and giving monologues. Not that he can't necessarily, but he certainly shouldn't be every week.

When it comes to Moose and selling, I am almost certain it is a combination of him being taught from the beginning that he is big and doesn't need to sell, mixed with "I used to be an NFL guy, I am above this shit." I say that because one of the little promotions I worked for in West Virginia brought him in pretty much fresh out of training school. He hadn't even started with RoH yet and he big shotted everyone in the building. Spent the whole night on his cell phone, didn't talk to the people on the show, didn't talk to the fans, and when he got in the ring with the biggest guy on the roster, he ate him up and didn't sell the little bit he did take. Maybe you can chalk it up to him being green at the time, but I think it's more likely attitude and training.

As I stated, I have not seen BTE. But as I understand it, there are not actual wrestling matches on the program. So asking casual fans to watch a show on the internet that contains no matches so they can understand why matches on an upcoming show are happening, is very different than watching Raw.

This is a problem. If people had to watch a 15 minute video online every week to understand the plot of that week's episode of Gray's Anatomy, the show would tank. Look, I like all of the talent involved, and maybe I am just old, but if "guys fucking off" isn't the proper description for a weekly, online vanity show, I don't know what is. I am happy these guys are getting their merch into main stream stores, selling out huge shows and starting this new company. The wrestling business is in desperate need of a shot in the arm, and I hope they can be it. But if watching the show is gonna require effort and prior knowledge, most of your casual fans aren't gonna take the time, and AEW becomes a hardcore wrestling fan company, and the last thing we need is another smart mark company floundering around in mediocrity like RoH has done for the last 10 years.

So, I follow PWG, Chikara, and RoH. I have made friends with several local wrestlers in my area during my time as a ring announcer, have an ECW Icon's number in my phone and correspond by e-mail and trade dvd's with a famous 80's wrestling personality. I very much enjoyed All In, and I am very interested in seeing what AEW has to offer. Yet, I have never seen a single episode of Being the Elite, because I don't feel the need to spend several minutes of my week watching a bunch of guys fucking off. I don't see where this makes anyone less of a fan, where it makes anyone less interested in the product, or where it matters in the least when discussing this company. I was just hoping we could all be happy that maybe having some semblance of competition might light a spark and convince WWE to start giving a fuck about the product again.... but instead it's turned in too a "who is the bigger fan" dick size contest. Well, at least I got my credentials in!

I always thought Hayabusa looked cool as fuck. The little bit of paint mixed with the mask in all different colors with the matching baggy pants. Then he had either the long robe or this thing.... Never cared for the H look, and honestly didn't like Darkside that much, but his regular look is awesome.

I got Nitro, Death of the Territories, David Schultz, and The Grappler's books for Christmas. Started with The Grappler. Already half way into it, and enjoying it a lot. It isn't very long, and the way it is written makes it a quick read, but it's had several good laughs, and Denton doesn't take himself too seriously, which is a nice change from most wrestler bio's.
