Its one of the rare instances where clipped up version is better.

My boy is now three, and we wrestle a lot....I find it hilarious to have him come up to me and say "Powerbomb me, or Chokeslam me" Which I gladly do, onto the couch of course.. I love these topics recently about these kinds of things....makes me think about all kinds of matches I havent seen or thought of in a while.. For this one..this may not be a popular answer: Flair vs. Fujinami - Superbrawl I - This match bores the hell outta me and I have watched it probably 10 times TRYING to find it good as I really like their Japan match earlier in the year, but just cant enjoy it. AND one other: Muta vs. Chono - Starrcade 1992 - After seeing a LOT of good to great matches between these two in Japan, I watched this one a LOT looking for reasons it wasnt a bad and boring as I thought...but it was and is.

YES!! Dude, this match PISSES me off...I get it get kicked off the feud and all....but HOLY FUCK was it fucked up after the cage door slams...Kerry should have been out, and Flair either pins him or slaps on the figure 4 (since Kerry had the bad knee) and Kerry is out and gets counted down.. Instead Kerry actually gets some offense in before the match is stopped...the ending is a clusterfuck and should not have ended that way....I know they were WAY over so it didnt matter, but man, that should have been WAY better ending to really push the fact that the Birds DIRECTLY caused Kerry to be pinned or passed out... AND...one punch from Hayes and Flair is out long enouigh for them to argue for a few minutes? Come on...that sucks... Not ending the match immediately after the cage door spot served a vital purpose. It kept the fans' attention partly on the match and allowed the Freebirds to get back to the dressing room in one piece. WCCW didn't have the type of crowd control we're accustomed to. You know, I never thought of it that way....BUT....Flair could have taunted the crowd for a minute or went over and kind of nudged Kerry to see if he was out or not, then taunted again and slapped on teh figure 4, FORCING the ref (a Von Erich friend) who's name escapes me right now, to call for the bell... That would have given the Birds PLENTY of time to get to the back...

Bring on the hate with this one! I REALLY like Heel Men On A Mission vs. Razor / Savio from the July '95 IYH…a HUGE hidden secret favorite of mine,, Its the ONLY match I felt MOM looked good and believable and Mabel looked like a tough dude...

Eddie going over Angle was obvious. Well, fuck, I guess I am a moron then, right!! How could I miss it being so OBVIOUS.... I was out of wrestling from 94-95 so didnt see it live, so cannot comment.

With Taker losing to Brock in what I think is a "holy shit, I never saw that comnig" moment, it made me think, what is your most surprising finish to a WM Match that really shocked you in a "I can believe he won" kind of way? Most matches anymore you can pretty much tell who is gonna win from things that happen before the big matches, but there are exceptions. WM though, recently, hasnt had many of those exceptions. So what is yours? Mine: Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle - Wrestlemania 20 - Eddie's win at No Way Out over Brock was truly shocking to me, but by the time Mania came around, the reports that Brock was leaving were out and made me think Eddie was a quick 1 month kind of "Thank You" Champion. So when Mania came around, I was sure Kurt would win and be the new main guy on Smackdown carrying the title. When Eddie slipped out of his boot and small packaged a charging Kurt for the win, I was as shocked as Kurt was....

I think the thing for me was that I hadn't watched Japanese wrestling yet at the time of the match and into 2006 when I got it…so the whole "dream match" thing didn't apply for me…I was a HUGE Joe fan and was LOVING him rising up to the upper echelon of wrestlers at the time, and after watching US matches of him vs. Punk and others in ROH and Daniels / AJ in TNA, I then saw this match..those two combinations made me really really not like this one…so I guess everything has context as to why.

I really like this topic.. Here is one: Samoa Joe vs. Kenta Kobashi - ROH - 2005 I remember when I started reading about this in late 2005 and felt like "Oh God, I gotta see this..." So I bought it, waited and it finally arrived a week later. That night, sat down, smoked a bowl, and put it on, psyched for a great match. What followed (to me anyway) was nothing more that two guys chopping each other OVER AND OVER in between a couple other normal Joe moves, with the crowd LOVING it..Once it was over, I turned it off and really didn't understand the love the match got, and still dont today after a few more viewings..

What is the WWE's main demographic these days? What age group do they get their biggest ratings and money from for PPV? What age group do they get their biggest money from merchandise? Is the demo that is their biggest now the one they want to keep as #1 going forward? Any numerical info would be cool as shit to see...

Looking forward to listening to this...but..ahead of my listening.. That angle with Pritchard and the White Boy is PHENOMINAL in its realism and craziness...the payoff at the end is great and Solie's reactions are a HUGE part of it at the end... Its a shame a lot of their matches post this arent around in full....I would have loved to see the payoff....anyone else know if they are ther?e?
