  1. Another Dynamic Duo tag and another good match. I know Goc in his fantasy league was wanting to make El Gran Apollo his latin star of his promotion. So my thoughts on Apollo. He has a great look, solid charisma, his moveset was limited, needs work in his FIP work, needs to tighten up some of his work, has a good drop kick and forearm, and worked the apron well. Mil in Houston has bemuch better than I've seen in NY, Dallas and other areas besides Japan. I loved the Duo stooging for him and shining him up. I loved Mil's screwdriver to the ears of Tully trying to cauliflower them. Mil's reverse Dragon Sleeper made me pop. Apollo's FIP work in the 1st fall didn't show enough vulnerbility. I loved how Gino just beat Mil's ass in the 2nd fall. I liked how it continued in the 3rd fall. Mil's FIP work was done well. The hot tag to Apollo was really good along with the early teases. We get a good post match brawl with Ken Lucas where the ref reverses his decision and DQ's the Dynamic Duo. That was a crappy finish. 3 1/4*
  2. Mil vs Duggan This is short for 3 falls but it blew away my expectation level. This was all action. You'd think this would be a styles clash, but it worked. I don't know if was because Duggan isn't a polished worker, or if Mil was just laying in receipts a lot of this was snug. It was easily the most credible I've seen Mil's offense. Duggan ate his dropkick right in the mush, his flying headbutt looked liked it ko'ed Duggan, and Mil's palm strikes looked stiff as hell. The story was speed and technique versus strength. Good stuff. 3*

  4. All I can say is Mil Muertes is so awesome in LU. The man is almost bullet proof in having really strong matches . If the whole season was 2016 I'd have in my top 5 wrestlers.
  5. Cedric Alexander getting added to the mix freshens up the cards.
  6. Lothario vs Patera I found this really interesting. I understand the booking of this since they are building to a Brody/Patera match so Lothario was the gatekeeper opponent. I thought the psychology of the match was smart. JJ Dillon cut a great promo before hand. All of Patera's movements were big and grand . He clearly new how to play to the cheap seats. Lothario used some mat work and punches to keep Patera at bay. Eventually, Patera would focus on the neck and back to set up the spinning neck breaker. Eventually, he hooks it and wins the 2nd fall. Lothario is unable to continue so Patera wins in 2 falls.

  8. This is according to Mike Mooneyham. Just color me shocked. Thought he had a job for life.
  9. 5/7/15 Evolve Tracy Williams/Drew Gulak vs TJP/Fred Yehi 4 1/2* Damn this was just a hot all action tag. They worked a southern tag within the catch point style. All four guys brought it. I was buying into all the near falls and submissions. Good, good stuff.
  10. Again the whole Cabana thing is the company's fault. If they didn't have him under contract they deserve what they get. The angle would have had more impact if it was Hero in the spot. They could've ran the angle with Jimmy Rave or Spanky and had a better match than Cabana.
  11. 5/8/15 Evolve Tracy Williams vs Drew Gulak 4 1/2* I really enjoyed this match. The crowd was hot for the whole thing. Both guys were on point. The mat work was incredible. That Dragon sleeper I didn't even see coming. I jumped out of my seat.
  12. I have seen Hero vs Sabre jr. I liked the match and gave it 4*. It felt a little bloated and some of the transitions didn't seem natural. Still a really good match that wasn't as good as the Dallas one.
  13. I'm loving the AJ and Reigns stuff. The Samoans vs the Club has been great too. We've getting really fun 6 mans. I'm waiting for one on ppv. Their is months of storyline if they take their time
  14. If people haven't seen the PWX Rise of a Champion show. Timothy and I reviewed it on TWIW. It's a really fun show. It has a bit of everything for everyone.
  15. Lewin vs David This is a captains match. The winner gets the 1st fall in the tag later. This was solid wrestling. Lewin was focused on the arm. Some of the arm work was done really well . Some of it fell flat. I thought Davd's selling was really well done. His work underneath looked good. The match lacked pizazz. Which is flaws from both wrestlers. 2 1/2* 6 man tag The story of the match was Hart avoiding getting into the match. As a story this was done well. The payoff was Hart eventually getting caught in the ring. So far as story it was done well. Some of the work contained in the story could have been better. Still I thought this was fun. 2 3/4* Like This

  19. Hart supplied talent. Boesch booked , but Hart had an influence on the book. This is what I believe Hart said in his book.
  20. Brody vs Valentine This was ok. It was weird seeing Brody on the mat. He was working it in like a Dory Funk Jr. mold. Still this wasn't very exciting. Like what Matt says Dale is working a Johnny Valentine clone and it doesn't really click because he's not Johnny. 2* *

  22. That was a KO.
  23. 4/17/16 Rev Pro Zack Sabre Jr. vs Mike Elgin 4 1/4* This was just uploaded to their streaming service. This match was incredible. I thought we might have a styles clash here. I was wrong. These guys had great chemistry together. We get some really good mat work to start. It starts with Sabre jr. going after the arm. We see some great arm work for a bit. When Elgin gets a chance to work on top his focus is the neck and back. ZSJ cuts him off and is back on the arm. Elgin returns the favor and now goes after ZSJ arm in revenge spots. His arm work is more physical than precise. He wants to destroy ZSJ arm for 2 reasons. One is so he can't hurt him as much, secondly so ZSJ can feel the pain he feels. Both guys do a good in selling the arm. Which really amps up the drama. The back and forth action was tremendous. The one major issue in the match was the NJPW strike exchange which did nothing to help the story of the match.
  24. Put me on the love of the Garvin burial.
