One of the best WM main events ever. Stiff. Felt like a shoot at times. Reigns smiling with the blood coming out of his mouth the more Lesnar laid it in. Lesnar getting posted to set up Reigns come back and bleeding out of his skull, and multiple super man punches with Lesnar using the ropes to stay on his feet like a fucking bull. Rollins cashing in actually made him come off like a smart heel for a change. Great main event from start to finish.

One of my favorite WM main events ever... OH SHIT. Rollins!
-
This is crazy as hell. Brock stiffing the fuck out of Roman, and Roman laughing with the bloody mouth.

If Taker keeps wrestling every year, his new gimmick can be to have the worst match with whoever his opponent of the year is that year. (Bray this year, Brock last year, etc).

Wrestler whom found footage would excite you the most

My exact thoughts. -
I'm visualizing the Reigns/Lesnar match getting all sorts of anti-booking heat (Randy Savage chants, Daniel Bryan chants, CM Punk chants, etc). followed by Rollins music hitting and getting the biggest babyface pop of the night, making the whole thing rather strange.

I don't really read internet wrestling forums much anymore, so I laughed when I opened this thread and saw Alice Radley as the first mention. I don't know the woman, but I can't help but agree about her obnoxiousness. I hate when that podcast goes into the political/religious stuff, but fantastic whenever you can get Cornette talking about old school wrasslin'

How does Rey's run stack up against guys like Michaels and Hart?
-
That was a great match. Thanks for posting. I agree on the Rusev/Harper team. They were great heels together here.

That lariat by Wyatt was basically Jumbo catching some young, lanky dude with one in 1991.

Since that finish made everyone look worse anyway, should've had Rollins cash in, Brock no-sell a curb stomp, then have Brock F5 him out of his DragonCon cosplay outfit and get the 3. Fuck it. Or...just not have had Rollins attempt to cash in at all there.

Mark Henry/Rusev segment getting the closing portion of the show was pretty surreal. Could this mean Henry is being constructed for a Brock match in the future? Maybe Rusev/Cena too?
-
That Mark Henry promo when he turned heel to set up the Cena match last year was my favorite thing in the company all year.

Who said heels cant love their own children? I thought the best heels fancy themselves as babyfaces. Oh, and Stephanie McMahon is clearly WOTY.

If Cena/Brock double turned, what happens to Heyman?
-
I see no real value in Sting in WWE at this point. Seems a bit too little, too late. Maybe Lesnar/Sting would work for the belt once they get it on Brock for a fresh title defense. Bryan/Sting v Brock/Cesaro could work.
-
Wow, Shawn Michaels is held in a REALLY high regard amongst his peers, isn't he? Heyman thinks he was a more well-rounded worker than Flair.

Not that I'm happy about this (I'm not), but this TOTALLY works out in Bryan's favor. Bryan vs Sheamus = throwaway mid card match. Bryan vs HHH = headline match, and a win over HHH at WM? That, at the very least, means AS much as a title victory in this fucked up fed these days. So Bryan beats HHH at WM, in a fresh, and likely very good match (could see it being like a Punk/HHH / TAKA/HHH hybrid). Bryan could be hotter than ever coming off the HHH win and at that point, best time to get the title for real this time. Extreme Rules is in Bryan's home state. Maybe Lesnar will be champion? I know this is all wishful thinking and blah blah blah, but I actually am feeling good about the Bryan situation at the moment.

Still had hope Bryan would be in it. I guess Rey will be 30. Really weird move.
-
Bryan not being in the rumble is all kinds of stupid. A new kind of stupid.
-
Billy Gunn looks like Barry Windham circa 93.
-
Yep... still think Batistas winning? I never did, personally. I think he'll look strong then get eliminated by someone to set up a WM program.

Daniel Bryan. There's no fucking way a pro-wrestler is missing the Royal Rumble because of a concussion. Some bullshit Wellness Policy or not. Then Cena will beat Orton & Brock will beat Cena. Punk will get screwed by The Authority & 'Taker will come back. Wrestlemania 30: Brock Lesnar Vs. Daniel Bryan Triple H Vs. C.M. Punk John Cena Vs. The Undertaker Then the other guys, Batista, Orton, Del Rio, whomever they can mess around with Hogan & Big Show or whatever. No one really cares. This is exactly what I've been telling people that I want. Will it happen? Who knows, but Lesnar/Bryan is the best match that hasn't happened yet, and from a story point standpoint, Bryan overcoming a Lesnar asswhooping would be Lesnar/Eddie or Sting/Vader levels of epic star making/feel good moment shit. Cena/Taker I've been wanting for years. Besides that, I don't want to see HHH in any sort of in-ring capacity and prefer something better for Punk, but there's that match, and you can very easily start up a Batista/Orton program for Mania. I'm curious how Sheamus plugs into all of this. I'd love to see him cross Lesnar at some point (preferably during Lesnars potential title reign). It may or may not make any difference, but I'm thrilled that there's one title again. It's for the best long-term. Any guesses what the Shield does at Mania? Have a feeling Reigns gets a profile match.
