  1. Announced on the WWE's Facebook page: "BREAKING NEWS: Paul Levesque a.k.a. Triple H has been promoted to the post of CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, effective from October 15, 2012. This also marks the official retirement of Vincent Kennedy McMahon from all the affairs of WWE."
  2. This sounds awesome and intriguing in a way none of the other documentaries have been. I have to admit I'm rubbing my pennies together in hope that they breed, but I wish Dylan's friends the best of luck in getting this funded. For my part I'll spread the word as best as I can.
  3. It's been well established how much inventory they have kept over the years. I'm sure they didn't pay anything insulting for something that's basically a link to how the company started.
  4. First WWWF title belt discovered, after being lost for nearly 50 years. http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/throwback/...-new-york-attic
  5. http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie-talk/s...-220136514.html
  6. He was lucky the FBI didn't haul him away.
  7. "Look Prick, Go Away" - Dennis Miller, before he lost his marbles.
  8. Don't forget Angle's milk bath.
  9. They had their funny moments. It wasn't consistent, but some of it was comedy gold in my opinion. The one with Shawn giving random people backstage his finish had me belly-laughing.
  10. For more reasons than one. Bret humping anything in the ring would just look weird.
  11. The real low point of the Slaughter/Iraq angle was when Okerlund "heard from someone backstage" that Sarge burnt an American flag after beating Warrior for the belt in celebration of winning. And I think Slaughter said Vince wanted him to burn it on television, but it was leveled down to Hogan's shirt which was akin to burning the flag (also made for a great visual).
  12. When I mean it I don't mean Austin, but the Attitude Era in general. It's what they needed to do to get attention, no matter how dumb a lot of it was (except Austin, Rock and others who knew how to be top guys in any situation when given the ball). Nash has never said he took credit for Austin directly, and even said in the article Steve did what he wasn't able to.
  13. Jericho called Nash out on his comments about Chris and Eddie on Twitter, of course mentioning that WWE's worst year of business happened to be the one when Kevin was top dog in the company.
  14. If it is him, he must have had some botched plastic surgery.
  15. I've heard him take credit for it before, and how he explains it in the article rings true a little.
  16. With all the jingoism shoved down our throats through the years, of course they are about kicking ass overseas. And it wouldn't surprise me if Linda is against taxing the rich, but would surprise me even more if she took a stand on it. Makes her an even more easy target for liberals then.
  17. This only looks worse with the hindsight of Flair's other problems. If he managed to keep up his finances, this wouldn't merit such a negative saddened response. But because that isn't the case, one (including me) can't help connect the two. It's amazing that this would make stumping for Romney look like the high road.
  18. The Scope in Norfolk, Virginia had a great look to it whenever WCW was there.
  19. Considering his placement in a few spots on that retrospective video, I thought Flair would have showed up too.
  20. I can personally confirm she's looked much better this year.
  21. I heard there were some strains of a "Sheamus sucks" chant at the show tonight.
  22. Gotta love his Walter White goatee his sporting these days.
  23. Weird. Gibson always reminded me of Joe Flaherty. Not so weird, I meant Gibson.
  24. Morton always reminded me of Joe Flaherty.
