WWE booking is really good at producing shots of angry faces in the crowd.

I love how pretty much every Vince story is like the famous softball episode of the Simpsons where Mr. Burns gets increasingly mad at Don Mattingly not getting rid of his sideburns despite Mattingly not having any to speak of.

She was in CMLL for a while as one of their top women, so she's a good fit for the invader group. She's not the greatest wrestler but as we saw on this show she has loads of charisma.

It really doesn't seem like he's the typical "no condition to perform" though. If it wasn't Jeff Hardy it would just look like someone half assing in a house show match that probably happens every day of the year in normal circumstances. Especially how no one else in the match (or the ref) seems to have any concerns. We've all seen it where something goes wrong and everyone just stops until either the moment passes or the person can't continue.

That link seems to be missing some parts

Reports are coming in about a weird situation where Jeff Hardy was working a tag match at a house show, seemed to just kind of slow down and tag out, then leave through the crowd with security following after him. WWE sent him home the next day, and the way the reports seem to be worded is like it's not the "no condition to perform" you would expect but it's almost as if he just said fuck it mid match and just walked out. Obviously considering his past it's easy to make assumptions but this seems like something odd is going on.

Also lol @ Bron having to be the latest NXT/WWE person to play the "ACTUALLY, the thing no one likes was my idea" by claiming that the Bron Breakker name was his idea. I'd believe it if there hadn't already been like 3 other times of this exact thing happen.

FWIW it seems like people in NXT feel like Kyle and Gargano are done after this show, with Fightful getting the quote "even if one stays he'll probably be out for a while" which I would assume is referring to Candace about to be giving birth soon meaning Johnny will be taking a leave wherever he ends up.

Gimmick aside, Imperium is a really good team. I thought the match was pretty good, the stuff at the end doesn't make much sense. It's one thing if you think Kyle's leaving and you want to send him out of the territory, but why have Wagner's heel turn backfire? Even if Kyle stays you just made one of your Young Lions who was getting a push look like a geek.

So the main event was fun, no one looked out of place in spite of the universal "wtf?" reaction to Fish and Lethal. Vikingo won to send the folks home happy and he did all kinds of crazy stuff. Clearly the plan is to do the Omega match once he's healed up which should be bonkers. Also interesting that every match leading up to the main had the rudos go over (Cain's team won but the crowd was 100% behind LA Park so it was a rudo win for them), so right when you thought they were going to pull a WWE they did end up having the guy everyone wanted to win in the main event go over which actually ended up adding a little extra juice to the finish. All in all, a solid show. No MOTYs or anything but they made the best of losing Kenny and put together a fun if not typically chaotic show.

Mexican hero Cain getting booed because he's beating up LA Park is why wrestling is great.
-
LA Park coming out in a leather jacket like lucha Onita just shows why he is the GOAT.
-
Cain coming out with a Arizona State Sun Devils mask makes me realize his true calling is being a luchador.

Also they got about 27,000 in the baseball stadium in Monterrey for this show which probably makes it the largest non WWE crowd in North America this year.
-
Dragon Lee/Dralistico challenge for the tag titles and Dragon Lee challenged Laredo Kid for the AAA cruiserweight title which sounds pretty fucking awesome.
-
Laredo Kid's mystery partner ended up being Willie Mack, which I don't think anyone would have guessed but he's awesome and it's AAA so it works.

Watching on delay and Taya did end up on the show in a video package challenging Deonna so she appears to be back. Estrellita showed up as part of the Legally Distinct CMLL heel group, and so far the best part has been FTR showing up in Los Gringos gear with Vicki as their manager.
-
Pac needs to do Rick Martel blind gimmick now.
-
I popped for FTR hitting the Demolition Decapitation.
-
Taya just tweeted "Tomorrow is a new day" so that's probably a giveaway she's going to be on the show tomorrow.

It's amazing to think that while he's probably the nicest person ever to be in the wrestling biz, Bryan's at his best when his character is a giant asshole.
