Dragon Lee/Dralistico challenge for the tag titles and Dragon Lee challenged Laredo Kid for the AAA cruiserweight title which sounds pretty fucking awesome.

Laredo Kid's mystery partner ended up being Willie Mack, which I don't think anyone would have guessed but he's awesome and it's AAA so it works.

Watching on delay and Taya did end up on the show in a video package challenging Deonna so she appears to be back. Estrellita showed up as part of the Legally Distinct CMLL heel group, and so far the best part has been FTR showing up in Los Gringos gear with Vicki as their manager.

Pac needs to do Rick Martel blind gimmick now.

Taya just tweeted "Tomorrow is a new day" so that's probably a giveaway she's going to be on the show tomorrow.

This is all true, but just the very fact that the company is being so tight lipped about this and Dave's non comments makes it seem like this is serious shit. Business feelings aside, heart issues are nothing to fuck around with so whatever it takes for his girls to have a dad as long as possible is the best thing.

Yeah it looks like Konnan just asked TK to send who he could and then realized he should probably add a Mexican guy in there too. I'm guessing the point of all this is to do a match for Vikingo to show out so they can have the money match when Omega heals up, so it really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things who else was in there. He also wanted Junior Dos Santos to appear to do an angle with Cain to play off their MMA feud, but JDS is training for a boxing match and the timing didn't work out. Fite also has gone from only showing the top 4 matches to 6, so it's going to be an even better value for $20.

Big Swole just announced on Twitter that she decided not to renew her contract and that today was her last day in AEW, so I guess those early non EVP deals are coming up soon. Will be interesting to see who's allowed to go on with their life's work elsewhere.

I may be off base, but I get the impression Nia (and everyone else to be fair) thought she had a job for life due to the Rock connection so she's probably thinking why bother going to another company if that didn't save her with Vince.

To be fair, the "my hole" stuff was scripted, it's not like she was going into business for herself. Maybe you could say she was overdoing it because she knew how stupid it was, but it wasn't like she was HBK'ing it up out there.

I'm always going to be sympathetic to someone dealing with mental health issues, but at the same time you can't be surprised she's not super popular when she has such a storied track record of being sloppy and dangerous. I do think if she were to go somewhere like AEW and was able to take advantage of some real training instead of the garbage they do at the PC she probably would show Tay Conti levels of improvement and be the Awesome Kong level of monster.

Way too far gone. Anything that shows a competitor to WWE as viable is 100% an invention by Dave to them and nothing with change that mindset.
