  1. It's becoming both impressive and horrifying that every time you think "well this is certainly a very fucked up thing going on in WWE" something else as bad or worse pops up not too soon after.
  2. Yeah there was a voice message, and there were people confirming the number was his.
  3. Watching the Collision in Korea episode and all I can think of is how close we may have been to World War III because WCW sent some wrestlers to North Korea.
  4. He never denied the pics were him, just that the was hacked or something. I never heard the official word but reading between the lines it seems like the kids who got sent the pics were reluctant to move forward. That would also fit with Hunter's insistence when asked that they didn't think there was anything to the accusations.
  5. File that one under "the fuck took so long?"
  6. I'm not normally a fan of one sided stips like that, since it usually gives away the finish, but in this case it almost makes you want to see the Inner Circle lose since it seems they've reached the end of what they can do.
  7. Someone responded to say Aries wants to save the children because he's the same size as them and I'm dead now.
  8. Also The Acclaimed's rap deal is getting better by the week. I don't know if it was nerves or what, but their intro was horrible at first but saying Eddie looked like a pack of Newports was both hilarious and probably the most accurate description of him ever.
  9. I loved Kingston stealing the Bucks' shoes after they beat them up. Everything Eddie does always comes off 100% the way you would expect his character to act in any situation, and I cracked up for that.
  10. Kicking off with CS's favorite wrestler!
  11. I mean, both can be true. Drake can be anti BLM and still think it's messed up someone got put into a coma over it.
  12. He's already made the company more money than HHH ever did, HEYYYO!
  13. Wasn't Brandi Lauren the one who's only appearance on TV was one of the girls in Damian Priest's hot tub?
  14. Super zealous religious folks tend to react poorly when told to respect other beliefs.
  15. It may not be best for Drake, but it's 100% the right thing for them to do as a company. Dude seems to be getting more volatile by the day, and at the very least they were in danger of someone beating his ass on their property and opening them up to lawsuits. I saw people saying how this would finally shake loose some stories of how he really started going over the edge when BLM started getting traction. I guess the folks who were trying to explain away him throwing the white power OK sign in a NXT ref group photo are busy trying to wipe the egg off their faces now.
  16. Dream likely still has a job for the same reason folks like Riddle and Austin Theory do, management doesn't see what the big deal is. Part of why Drake was finally let go is too many people in NXT were getting uncomfortable with him being around, and Dream has seemingly reached that level too but is still being kept in the NXT storage locker. That alone should give anyone pause.
  17. I just hope all these other cuts weren't done just so Drake wasn't the only one.
  18. On one hand Jessamyn is shocking because of the obvious, but I guess once Ronda announced she was pregnant they were like "welp no need to keep paying her friend for another year to sit around the PC".
  19. One of my first wrestling memories was Don as the "Pride of the Carolinas" teaming with the Russians, and the wild matches they would have. I loved how instead of the usual turncoat gimmick it was done more as a mutual admiration, Ivan would be all "here's an American we can respect' and Don would be all "the Russians are great and I respect them for liking me".
  20. After the last wave of cuts there were rumors that there would be more coming from NXT, so including Drake in those is probably the safe play for WWE so he can't claim he's being silenced by the woke mob or whatever nonsense.
  21. The demo figures are a little higher on TNT, but a lot of that is due to NBA games. TBS has a tiny bit more homes, but it's basically a lateral move viewership wise and now they don't have to worry about tons of pre-emptions due to sports so it's a net gain for AEW.
  22. NXT was another solid show this week, loved the Candice/Indy stuff. I wonder what the plan is going to be with Franky Monet since so far all they've established is that she irritates everyone else. Gargano/Reed was a good WWE style cage match, and the hype video for next week's main event was top notch. For bonus lols, go back to the opener and listen to Beth's brain blow a fuse while trying to get through an especially thick pile of WWE verbiage.
  23. With all due respect..... someone facing consquences for being a shit person isn't being "cancelled by the woke mob", dude had a million chances to apologize back when it happened but he kept fucking that proverbial chicken and doubled down every time. He's not entitled to be on Dave's show or anywhere else. ...and now a word from frankly the only person who's opinion truly matters in all this: So yeah, not gonna agree with the "this is just all woke cancel culture getting BIG MAD for no reason" when the fucking widow of the guy was accused of being a part of a coverup about her husband's death not even a full day later. I can aaaaaaaaaaaaaaalmost see where Bruce is coming from in terms of rushing to conclusions that seem to make sense in your brain immediately after a tragedy. Anyone who was online when Benoit happened can attest to that. He should have taken the reaction he received at that time to sit back and think "you know, I think I may have fucked up royally here". Instead he pulled a Principal Skinner "no, it's the children who are out of touch" so fuck him.
  24. Double or Nothing is being shown in select Cinemark theatres for $20, which sounds intriguing but there's no showings anywhere around me listed yet. Dr. Britt would not be pleased if her hometown gets shut out of this, lol.
  25. Tony's always come across as a guy who genuinely enjoys wrestling (at least until WCW killed it), while JR always came off to me as a guy who really wanted a career as a football broadcaster and wrestling was his plan B.
