Do they belt up Sting and Darby tonight or do they get fucked by the Bucks to set up the PPV match? -

Kicking off with Swerve and Hangman, apparently TK isn't fucking around tonight. -
You think Seth is aware of how stupid this makes him look no matter how you take it? IRL he looks dumb because he's saying they don't need the guy who would give them the most business they can do, and in storyline he looks dumb because if Rock fucks off, then Cody would drop the match with him like a hot potato.

I get the impression he was rubbing people in Anthem the wrong way and they got tired of him. Fightful seemed to suggest in their report that the feeling was he was trying to become the face of the company and that didn't sit well with the corporate overlords. On some level I can see that, but dude performed necromancy with TNA so you'd think he'd have a longer leash.

Ava has deleted her Twitter account over getting death threats over the Cody/Rock thing. Wrestling fans really can be the worst.

Young Rock: A New NBC Sitcom About the Life of Dwayne Johnson

Reagan was a respectable midcard level actor in his day. Leading role in B movies, the #2-3 star in the bigger movies. -

tbh I don't think he ever had them. it's far more likely he enjoyed letting everyone *think* he had them. -
Trying to push a studio to bend to your will like that will at least get you marked as a pain in the ass to deal with. I'm not saying he's been blacklisted from movies or anything but he's not their #1 darling anymore either.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I feel that's unfair to Sarah Logan....at this point I don't know if someone like Bryan Danielson could manage to have a watchable match with Maxxine, wtf is Sarah supposed to do?

Brother @KawadaSmile mentioned he blew through a lot of his goodwill in Hollywood by trying to force Warner Brothers to make Black Adam a centerpiece of the DCEU.

I love how the only two options that make sense are either 1. WWE had no idea the fans would shit on them making the #1 babyface in the company look like a bitch or 2. they let the Rock just completely steamroll their yearlong booking plans in a manner that would even make the Hulkster go "that's pretty harsh, brother". Neither is a particularly good look for the company.

Holy shit, next Collision has Orange Cassidy vs Ishii. TK must have purchased the old WAR random 6 man generator and is using it to book the undercard.

Dude has been dying to wrestle lucha guys for decades now, he was probably trying to hide how much he was internally geeking out.

I have a feeling between "Bushiroad execs have to apologize to the roster for some unknown indecent" and "Rossy gets tossed out the door early" there's probably another part of the story dropping soon.

NXT show was really good from top to bottom. I never expected a random ass tag team with Bron being the thing to make me turn the corner on Corbin, but here we are. I appreciate them trying to teach Roxanne to be a heel, but there's just something about her that just doesn't work as a the bad guy. I just don't buy her as a threat unless Ava has some big Samoan ladies she can call to be her bodyguards. Her being the Jimmy Hart type pipsqueak hiding behind her larger charges is the only way I can see heel Roxanne work.

It did, and as soon as Melo came out in the all black I knew Trick was gonna get got. Amazing how they waited until Melo got the callup before they finally got around to pulling the trigger on the turn. NXT used to be so much better at timing the blowoffs to when folks were about to graduate, now it almost seems like OVW where they don't even pay attention to what the developmental group is doing which is weird considering who's running it.

WWE TV - 1/29 - 2/2 - BROCK PURDY IS THE HEAD OF THE TABLE

I've seen suggestion Cody winning the Rumble was insurance in case the Rock decided to "that doesn't work for me brother" doing Mania this year. Makes sense on paper, you either have the biggest match you could possibly have or you have one you've been building up since last Mania. Of course you end up having the hottest guy in your company look like he's bitching out but its business I suppose. It also seems that WWE may be pivoting this into an angle due to the response from what the ol interwebs are saying. -
Watching the MLW show tonight, and seeing Jacob Fatu's last match (his contract was up yesterday) makes me wonder if/when he ends up in WWE. Booker T publicly stated he's lobbying to get him hired, and it would make sense bring in other family members for the Rock/Roman build.

I would say the booking is already vastly smarter just because it doesn't change every week at the whims of a possibly senile old man. -

God damn, Roman fucking murdered Seth in that promo. Did to Seth what Seth did to RIddle. -

Also holy shit Naomi/Tiff/Bron/Jade making it clear they're going to be on the main roster more or less back to back hit home how much of an embarrassment of riches WWE has going on right now. -

The crowd going OOOOOOOH when Bayley dropped some Japanese on Iyo (thus revealing she was on to their bullshit) was excellent pro wrestling. Bayley has always been good in ring but she really flipped a switch during the Damage Control run and is just Getting It now. Calling it now, that match is gonna bang so hard since it will be two good workers paying off a well done long term storyline. -
He's absolutely in ass-saving mode for sure, but I could see him spinning that Diva Search era stuff as doing what Vince wanted him to. Like brother @Embrodak said both can be true that he was also being used by Vince as part of his kinks but also he (apparently) was completely okay with it. It might make him a victim in the technical sense but nowhere near the level of any of the women Vince has preyed on let alone the one in the lawsuit here. Also I was reading how the lawyer stated they are getting swamped by all the other people reaching out with similar Vince stories, so it looks like the dam is about to burst.

For me at least, there's a difference between say Stone Cold not wanting to do a job for the Coach and "taking his ball and going home", and someone like Black (allegedly) refusing to do jobs because reasons. There's refusing to job because it makes no sense to do one and refusing to job because you just want to be difficult (hi Shawn!).
