He's working for Fox, not WWE. It won't stop fans from thinking every mystery partner angle they run will be him though. Also you think the CM PUNK chants were bad before, you ain't seen nothing yet.
-
So Wrestlemania 36 is going to be in Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, and all I can think of is how will WWE incorporate the Pirate Ship into the set design?
-
Ever notice when WWE tries to make someone "the guy" anymore, all they do is basically say this dude's the guy now but they don't book him any better? Roman kept getting beat in big matches, and when he did win he'd lose immediately after. Now Seth's "the guy" and they book him to be the most unlikable babyface ever when he's not cowering in fear. His finish doesn't even work anymore, then stomp went from insta-kill to something he needs to hit 5987 times a match to get a near fall.

Not sure if the show becoming self-aware is a positive or not. If they can laugh along with it, fine. I hope they don't get like JR does when he gets criticized and gets all passive-aggressive about it.

Nearly every top guy (in this era) ends up being a direct mouthpiece for Vince at some point. The difference comes down to who does it well like Cena and who doesn't, like pretty much everyone else they've put in that spot.

People make jokes but Truth deserves to be employed for life just for his ability to make the dumbest shit work.

I don't know if Orton would really care about legacy when he's all about getting the maximum money for the minimal amount of effort possible.
-
Rusev hasn't re signed as far as I know, he was just taking a leave from the company.
-
Orton was clearly trying to get leverage, he's hardly in the same category of 75% of the roster that gets misused or ignored though. I believe Rusev is using the Moxley playbook though. Furthermore I think WWE knows Rusev is doing that and making whatever time he has left as miserable as possible.

They probably won't let him go, although it would be funny if they did because one of his backstage fights back in the day was with Jericho. No, at the rate WWE works these days I expect them to probably run another humiliation angle where it turns out Catalina is actually a dominatrix and it turns out losing all the time is actually Sin Cara's kink so she makes sure he loses every match.
-
Doubtful. This isn't the OG Sin Cara who was a megastar in Mexico (that guy went back and is a star in Mexico again). This is the former Hunico who's only claim to fame before this was riding low-rider bicycles with Tanga Loa and getting into fights backstage.
-
Sin Cara asked for his release, which probably won't go anywhere but is interesting he defied the "don't air complaints on social media" edict.
-
I just don't see why he would stay since WWE and AEW (at least) will be making him offers, and even if Sinclair opens the wallet for him, ROH isn't setting the world on fire these days.

Riho ping-ponging around like 90s HBK will help cover any of Kong's weak points at this stage of her game, and it will be awesome. I'm sure the usual suspects will be hand-wringing again about it not being "believable" but F em.

As I was watching that match yesterday I kept thinking I should like this since it's a good match and all, but I just couldn't manage to make myself give the slightest if fucks.
-
To be fair, the pre show hype video was all about Moxley talking about his CZW days and showing all the violent shit he did then, pretty much telling you this is what he was going to do that night. I agree that this kind of match should be like how Hell in a Cell used to be, the absolute last resort to a blood feud to end all.
-
So someone who does porn and/or some other kind of adult work posted DMs from Chasyn where he asked to set up a private video type shoot then threatened to put a hit out when she backed out. Wonder if Kenny still wants to stand by his pal.

It was interesting to see the reactions to Mox/Omega from a generation that hasn't seen that on a national level before. Old heads like most of us remember bloody JCP matches or ECW plunderfests (or FMW you were a tape trader), but people used to the WWE style obvious rubber barbed wire and no blood cage matches all seemed horrified.

"Triggered" used to be a word that described things that upset people with PSTD or other serious emotional traumas until fuckboys decided it should apply to anyone who objects to them being sexist/racist/whatever other kinds of fuckery. I don't think the OP had any of those intentions, but unfortunately those previously mentioned fuckboys poisoned the well for everyone else.
-
They need to go full CZW and get the light tubes.
-
If you're gonna use barb wire, they should wear shirts so the wire can stick to it and sell it for the people in the cheap seats.

The build for Cody-MJF is going to be AMAZING. Biggest babyface vs modern day Roddy Piper.
-
MJF is so much better in this role, they could have done it on TV or something to maximize the impact though.
-
Well ok, not long term after all lol.
-
I love how it can go so many ways. Was MJF concerned about his friend, is he secretly working with Jericho? Could it be he was concerned about his friend but turns when everyone gets pissed at him for doing what he felt was best?
