Hearing the pop Danhausen got from the Pittsburgh crowd made my heart feel all warm and cozy.

Yeah, Brock doesn't mind doing business if he likes who he's working with so I don't see him having an issue putting over Oba. What will be interesting to me is at some point Brock has to get heat on him in order for this to not look like a total squash, and Oba hasn't really been put in that kind of position on the main roster.

You know, there's a real good story to tell about Becky. Losing her mind about the return of the star the era she feels she had to clean up the mess of, feeling like all her effort just went down the toilet seeing how the crowd embraces the embodiment of an era she hates. And then there's whatever the hell this is. For one it's telling how they let Becky lean way more into the obvious Trump parody on social media, but on TV she comes off as "crazy person who gets arrested on an episode of Law & Order that leads them to the real bad guy of the episode". Like this is a match that practically books itself and they had to make it this cartoon villain shit.

I felt so bad when that happened, dude was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and got caught in the crossfire. Also them showing Logan Paul and Tom Brady obviously building for some kind of Mania deal at that flag football game on RAW just reminded me that when it was covered in the LA news it was them just like "yeah this is for some fake wresting shit".....and WWE has such a massive fetish for mainstream coverage they'll take it.

As a kid, I only caught the tail end of the Eaton/Condrey version and I also preferred the Eaton/Lane version, but between Youtube and watching the Mid South eps on the WWE Network the Condrey version quickly rose to the top for me. Listening to Dave talk about it, apparently the MX vs MX feud ran out of gas because the powers that be basically didn't want it to keep going, which considering how over it was is just crazy.

I thought the Dogs vs Darby/Orange/Roddy was going to die a death after everything this crowd has seen, but it still ended up really good. So far every match has delivered except the women's tag titles but that was by design since it was basically angle advancement.

Yeah there's already reports out that they want to make Trick a babyface just because of how over he's gotten, which I think is a pretty smart decision.

So with WWE panic booking Mania this year, their big idea was to do a big heat angle where Randy murders Cody? Interesting. Even more so was Randy being cheered while doing it. One of two things seems to be going on here: 1. They know Cody's babyface act is starting to show its age a bit so this is their way to try to make sure he gets cheered at Mania. If so, they missed the mark based on tonight's reaction. 2. This is some kind of 4D chess big brain move to do a double turn, which I only suggest is a possibility due to them continuing to do Cody/Sami segments that all end with Cody being a dick to him. If they weren't being done to plant seeds of him turning, then they're just making their babyface champion look like an asshole.

For someone who's been so influential to the point she's widely considered a locker room leader, it's amazing Bayley has never had a finisher that wasn't shit.

They seem to really want to get Sol up there ASAP, so I wouldn't be surprised if the three way ends up a "loser leaves for the main roster" match.

Another thing I noticed in NXT: Thea Hail got over (and accidentally shoot won the NA title), and they couldn't wait to beat her. Tatum Paxley got over, they couldn't wait to beat her. Watching Vengance and I can't help but notice we started with Blake/Jada in a street fight, Tony D/Dion in a parking lot brawl turned into something not officially a street fight but pretty much one, and we still have an Underground match to come. Kind of kills the specialness of each match if they are all basically the same thing. Also Tony D with his hair down in this new gimmick looks like an Italian Andrade.
