This is ECW as hell and I fuckin love it
-
Toni and Mina had yet another banger, been a great show so far.

Is it me or has Jamie Hayer seems to have lost whatever it was that had her so over before the injury?
-
The tag title match seems like it's going to be some kind of angle advancement

It should be stated R-Truth cut a great promo on Smackdown for the SNME match. It was nice to see former NWA world champ Ron Killings for a minute to remind people he's capable of being more than just the funny guy.

Bron and Bron as a beef team killing fools is money.
-
Honestly I think his problem is he is a charisma void, and standing next to Jacob Fatu just hammers that home even clearer.

Thats actually pretty common in Mexico outside of CMLL. Promotions there run like the territories used to for the most part, folks will come and go fairly often. Also based stories that go around, AAA contracts are only contracts in the loosest sense of the word. That's why WWE is getting top AAA people to sign new contracts, so they have them under something that's actually legally enforceable.

The guy who made the original Fiend mask made a version for Bray's son because his birthday wish was to dress up like his dad, in case you needed a reminder the world hasn't totally gone to shit.

Also considering New Japan seems to be having another cycle of low cash, the smart move for Cobb was to make the Nakamura move of getting WWE money and not having to do Strong Style matches every night. Sure he might have to deal with a silly name, but I'm sure he's not losing sleep over it.

Man seeing Zoey Stark blow her knee out (I assume0 was heartbreaking. She came back from injury, got put in a group that should have been three asskickers wrecking shop that somehow got forgotten in like 2 weeks, had her stablemates get released, and then got hurt again. That's a lot of bad luck in a short time

The crazy bastard did it!

Top of the World! May 18, 2025 8:50am local time Summit! Good weather was in our favor, but many teams took advantage of the short window aswell, which slowed our progress more than expected. Darby Allin, USA Ang Dorjee Sherpa, Nepal/USA 24th summit Pasang Bhote, Nepal 14th summit Tashi Thundu Sherpa, Nepal 12th summit Pemba Sherpa, Nepal 2nd summit The team will savor their moment on top and then start the return back to Camp 4.

I don't know why they think these unbreakable announce tables are better, but it makes the bump less impressive and it looks like it sucks 10x more to take.
-
Cobb's always been Polynesian Rhino, but it's more obvious in WWE than it is in New Japan.
-
I just realized how amazing the interactions between Mina and Toni are going to be and I can't wait.

I've caught myself using terms at work from my old job I spent over a decade at so I get it. My boss wasn't nearly as crazy as Vince so I can't imagine how deep that's embedded in them.

Will/Hangman vs Takeshita/Alexander was one of those matches you knew was gonna be awesome just because everyone involved in it are great, and it sure did deliver. Really looking forward to Mox and Joe murdering each other in the main event.
-
Agreed. I love the different venues they've been running in. Gives them a unique look that stands out, and it really adds to the atmosphere.

WWE is trying to replace AAA contracts (which are notoriously worthless) to WWE ones, so I honestly don't think they are signing Alberto to WWE if that makes sense. He's the AAA champ and I'm sure they want him to put someone over on the first show. That may sound crazy, but if WWE is serious about making sure this is accepted at all in Mexico they can't just go in and say "we're just making this new guy the champ now".

The president of the CW was interviewed by Variety for the TV upfronts and was raving how well NXT has been for them. He said they beat FOX on Tuesday nights and has been a big part of the network being up 40% from last year, so it looks like this partnership has been a home run so far. Funny thing is it turned out WWE only has 51% ownership of AAA*, which is controlling interest, but I expected their piece to be bigger than that. (* in theory, the deal apparently hasn't been officially signed yet)

Sabu's the kind of guy where you aren't really surprised would die at 60, but also kind of were surprised since it seemed like he would live forever after all the shit he survived already. It was always weird to me how some folks will admit ECW changed the business but somehow didn't want to give Sabu any credit for it.

The Jeff Cobb thing makes sense since it's been clear for a while Jacob is about to snap on Solo. Once that happens Jeff Cobb can be the mid boss Jacob has to go thru to get his hands on Solo.

WWE seems to be losing their touch when it comes to sabotage. They think running a show in Monterrey is going to mess with AEW running a show in Arena Mexico which is 600+ miles away.

Yeah it looked like his forearm landed directly on Prince' mouth, that was gnarly.
