Why are all the people who doubt it's a work suddenly stupid dumb marks just because Stephanie responded from her Twitter account that up to now she's never followed kayfabe on? Literally her bio states "I play a bad guy on TV" and all she does is tweet all her real life corporate stuff. I mean maybe it is all just building an angle but her responding is hardly the smoking gun of proof here.

Not saying it was the best, but months of video packages showing an ass kicking monster leading to the debut of the Funkasaurus was a legit LOL moment for me. He actually made it work a lot longer than I thought possible too.

Someone from WWE standing up for equal treatment of women when the "Divas" are lucky to get 2 minutes max on a three hour show is eye rolling condescension.
-
FWIW, I'm kind of surprised Steph's initial tweet that started this (work or not) didn't get more attention. Her shamelessly trying to glom on to the attention Patricia Arquette got from her Oscar speech came off like a little sister trying to get mom's attention. *edit* didn't notice there was so many "attention"'s in that post, my bad.

Pink responded to a comment about it on Twitter, doesn't seem like he'd be playing along with WWE angles right now but maybe he's just being a good sport for his wife's sake. Also, isn't that going to be kind of weird for one of the top executives in the company doing a feud with the wife of a guy involved in a lawsuit?

The only thing keeping me from thinking this is an angle is no one in WWE ever says stuff like that towards Steph/Hunter/Vince on Twitter even in a kayfabe sense. Especially Steph, since she never lets the men get away with not being emasculated on Raw, let alone tiny ass AJ. Even Cena sucks up to the bosses on Twitter.

That's assuming he's on his way out and not leveraging potential MMA interest as a way to keep Vince over the barrel.

ROH has consistently been one of my favorite shows to watch from week to week. The wrestling is usually top notch and while i get the Kelly/Corino team isn't everyone's cup of tea they do a good job balancing getting angles over while still adding humor.

For some reason I'd think if he's aware about it he would be amused by it.

From all accounts I've seen, when Ace was in charge it was when there was little to no communication between the developmental groups and WWE. Was that Johnny's fault? Maybe not entirely but it doesn't seem like he made much of an effort to improve things either.

So Dave opened the latest WO show by saying Brock was in the building for Raw but "something happened" and decided not to do whatever was planned for him. I love Brock as much as the next guy, but I swear there's 13 year old girls who aren't as sensitive as he is some times.

WWE Self Fulfilling Prophecy Booking 101: someone gets over more than intended, book them in a manner than ensures their heat fizzles out so you can say "see, we told you he really wasn't over".

I'm OK with Bryan endorsing Roman if it leads to Bryan turning heel at some point and bringing back the Obi-Wan robe.

Gotta love WWE logic, can't change plans because the 15,000 or so who booed at the Rumble were just those pesky smarty smarts who travel. So let's stay the course so Vince's wet dream match gets booed by 70,000 at Wrestlemania. On the other hand, Brock has to love this since it pretty much guarantees WWE has to sign him to some sort of deal unless Vince wants another cycle of news stories on how fans hate his product.

Apparently the two had some sort of legit heat, and Yoshiko thought the best course of action would be to go after her eye she's partly blind in and shatter her orbital bone.

Listening to the latest WO breaking NEWZ update, Dave seems to have the impression that WWE felt they settled too quickly with Punk and now feel they have a case against him using the doctor as a proxy. Also there's the added benefit of possibly fucking with his UFC training and putting a strain on his friendship with Colt since Punk would feel an obligation to cover for him financially.
-
Wouldn't his WWE role be a fairly large part of his income? I don't know if he goes to house shows, but he's at every Raw/Smackdown/NXT/PPV so you would think that doesn't leave a lot of extra time for non WWE patients.
-
Yeah this is going to blow up in WWE's face so badly. If Amman wants to sue that's his prerogative, but this comes off like WWE can't resist their usual petty bullshit towards someone who didn't play their game (no pun intended). Why stir up that hornet nest?
-
I have no idea what this is about. I would assume it's the idea that even people who are not the ideal body shape/size don't have to feel negative about their looks. I haven't heard it expressed as a millennial idea before, but Vince probably thinks anyone born after 1975 is in that group anyway.

Other than the obvious cosmetic reasons, dropping some weight would best thing at this stage if he wants to keep wrestling anywhere. Whatever injuries/bumps/bruises he has would benefit from having to carry about 50 less pounds.
-
Then it makes no sense for him to file suit since Punk will likely slaughter them in open court.
-
Just thought of something nefarious, could WWE's settlement from Punk (which presumably includes clauses saying he can't speak negatively about anyone in the company) keep him from defending himself here?
-
Looks like business is about to pick up. WWE, who is famous for waving their lawyer dicks in everyone's faces, settled with Punk so this should be fun times if it goes anywhere.
-
I'll defend Tony, he was stellar in the JCP/early WCW days. It was when he was paired with Heenan when he noticeably stopped giving a shit.

Wasn't it Kevin Steen who said he learned English from Jim Ross commentary on the wrestling he grew up watching? That seems like a pretty convincing argument re: the importance of commentary.
