  1. I think people's (justified) HHHate makes them ignore the fact that he could go when he felt like it. Of course him only putting forth the effort when he feels like it is part of why he's hated, but what ever.
  2. All the matches you listed are ones where Jericho is matched up with the best workers in the company (yes I'd consider HHH and HBK great when motivated). No one's saying Jericho isn't capable in the ring, and when he's matched with a solid worker who's on his game it usually makes a great match. It's when Jericho is matched with lesser workers when his faults tend to show.
  3. Not to mention he more often than not went out of his way to be a dick back then, no matter if the situation called for it.
  4. What the fuck was Kurt Angle? A JTTS? Angle's title runs were so badly booked I don't think WWE considers him main event material. They probably want someone like HBK who they can stick in the main event at any time and have mark credibility.
  5. Jericho has no motivation to put on a show anymore. He's never going to get a break in WWE because HHH has sand in his vagina over him.

  7. Vis must be tight with Jerry Lawler, he's always working his Memphis shows between his WWE gigs. I think Vis has a case of Terry Taylor Disease where he was tagged with a lame gimmick (Mable? wtf was that?) in his first WWF run. Not to mention people that were upset that he won the King of the Ring. As far as telegraphing shows, I think its a sign of desparation. They're trying to get people to watch so they spoil things that used to be suprises.
  8. Well he's certainly testing how safe his job is....the ironic part is I bet Vince is more upset that he gave a non-WWE authorized interview.
  9. I guess I'm the only one who doesn't mind Big Vis. I mean he's actually not that bad of a worker for a big guy. How many near-500 pounders even attempt a spinning heel kick? As long as he isn't main eventing PPVs I don't have a problem with him feuding with Kane.
  10. I'm surprised HHH would let his boyfriend go to Smackdown, who else is going to job to him without complaint? What would the point be bringing Angle to RAW? On paper it sounds good since it would be a fresh heel, but since he doesn't get along that great with HHH I can't imagine they're going to be wild about doing a program.
  11. Who'da thunk that after Brock/Goldberg at WMXX and tonight that MSG is the new ECW Arena crowd.
  12. They're a team that's supposed to have a gay gimmick, but they did it so over the top that southern wrestling fans turned them face. It seems like a lot of people inside WWE are marks for Romeo Roselli since he's gone above the call of duty to show his commitment to the business. Having said that, I fully expect WWE to botch this horribly, since Vince has predetermined ideas of what homosexual gimmicks should be. Not to mention once again messing with an up an coming talent's gimmick so as not to offend an old fossil.
  13. I always thought the "they" referred to New Japan, since they owned the Big Van Vader gimmick. Wasn't that the reason he stopped wearing that big mask that shot steam in WCW, something about how that was part of the gimmick NJPW owned?
  14. Dated as Piper may be, he'd still be way better on commentary than Jerry "PUPPIES PUPPIES!" Lawler. At least Piper could be a real heel commentator for once.
  15. I think the years of coke are starting to eat away at his brain. Why would Adrian Adonis refuse to work with him? The feud with Piper was the biggest of his career and they did a good job transferring the heat at WM 3. As easy as it is to belive Warrior was political back in 1988, I really don't see Vince changing booking plans to soothe a guy who's only been with the company a little while.
  16. Vince likes to give out names he can copyright, which is why I thought it was odd he picked a name for the Road Warriors that he didn't own either.
  17. They were always the Leigon of Doom as well. The LOD was Paul Ellering's stable from Georgia that included the Roadies, Jake Roberts, and I think even King Kong Bundy. I know in JCP they were always billed as "The Legion of Doom.....The Road Warriors!"
  18. I never got why Vince wouldn't call them the Road Warriors. My first thought was a copyright issue, but surely "Legion of Doom" was already sewn up and I would think Vince had enough of tangling with comic companies.
  19. Guess Rosey's next on the release list....
  20. This is screaming for an angle with Hassan....
  21. I wonder how the Rock feels about Hawaiians being excluded.
  22. Why is DC being discriminated against? First they don't have Senators now they don't get any whores in the diva search.
  23. I love how if creative can't find something new for a worker, to them that means that worker is no good and/or useless. The ego that implies is amazing. They're basically saying "if we can't think of something, it's because you suck".
  24. Looking back, Austin was pretty much right about everyone.
  25. Remember this the next time they have a flag-waving "We Love The Troops" special....they may love 'em but that doesn't mean they won't fire 'em.
