With the stock plummeting, I wonder how many people will invest since it's lower but Wrestlemania season is right around the corner? Doesn't it always go up for Wrestlemania season?

I loved the Samoan SWAT Team/Headshrinkers. I still do when I go back & watch their stuff as well. The Usos are probably better than them in the ring and it's not like The Headshrinkers was a great gimmick... but what The Usos don't have that the SST did is that everything that SST did looked like death. It was all believable. Like sometimes the Usos try to get too cute with their stuff, like superkicks, & it can take me out of a match. Their promos for the most part also aren't great but I mean, if I'm continuing with the comparison to the Shrinkers, they didn't promo at all, so... In other news, Braun Strowman apparently won the Intercontinental title. Which, feels like a lateral move. I don't think this will help Braun & it won't help the title either but Nakamura was just treading water with it anyway, so I guess at least it's something new? That belt feels beyond dead.

I think Randy Orton's biggest issue is that he constantly seems disinterested or even downright bored. Like he's just going through the motions. I can't say he's lazy because he's still working & everything but he definitely seems like he has a lot of nights that he takes it easy. Much like how some NFL players take plays "off" when they know the ball is not going in their direction. Living a life on the road like wrestlers do would suck. He still seems to get up when he's put in a good program or has a big match coming but there are a lot fewer of those for him nowadays. But like weekly TV isn't special anymore & I think a lot of the talent see it that way too. The way some workers used to half-ass house shows, that's how a lot of talent today seemingly treats RAW & Smackdown.

My entire argument the entire time, even when discussing Orton in the AEW section, is that you either have charisma or you don't. It's not something you can turn on & off. It has very little to do with wrestling angles. Randy Orton has charisma. The fact he can make people react the way that he does shows that. It's not really a debate or an opinion. There's a lot of wrestling fans that don't even know what the fuck charisma means. "Oh, he stinks at promos, he has no charisma." It just makes them look stupid.
-
Just remember, as great as that Orton/Edge angle was, there's still people that think Randy Orton doesn't have charisma...
-
That Orton/Edge thing was the best thing WWE has done on TV in quite some time. Managed to catch it thanks to social media & buzz & I'm glad that I did. Good stuff. More of that please! Pro-wrestling is at its very best when it sparks that emotion.

Sean Mooney news has my hype. I saw the news on Twitter last night during the Royal Rumble & I was more excited for that than anything WWE was doing. I actually quite like the commentary in NWA. I don't remember truthfully if Sean Mooney did play-by-play or color when he did announcing, I just remember him doing the newsroom studio stuff the most, but him & Barrett would be a lot of fun.

OK. I can live with that!
-
Dude. If fucking super scrub Cain Velasquez' dumpy ass shows up to throw out Brock, WWE can fuck right off.
-
Well, if we're talking about what's best for the wrestlers then none of them should wrestle at all to be honest. You kind of have to be a masochist to get into wrestling.

Man, thinking of Bryan working with Okada or Ospreay makes me hurt inside with disappointment that I can't see it.
-
That ending wasn't good but that's definitely still the best match Wyatt has had as the Fiend so far. Another notch on Bryan's belt.

More than half the entrants were nobody jobbers. The crowd was constantly going "who?" Tegan Nox, Mia Yim, Sarah Logan, Lana, Liv, Carmella, Dana, Mercedes, Tamina, Chelsea Green, Xia Li, Shotzi... and even Santina. Outside of making Bianca look strong & having Charlotte win, it was pointless. The Mandy/Otis stuff was fun. Even Naomi did the same spot she did last time despite looking like a superstar when she came out. No Ronda. No Sasha even. No Trish, Lita or any of the big pop returns. I wasn't a fan. Big props to Beth though for working through that brutal cut. Imagine watching that match if you don't watch NXT.
-
This has been brutal. Where's the star power?
-
Has there ever been a WWE superstar as bland for as long as Nattie Neidhart? Feels like she's been there forever & never done shit. Like her biggest accomplishment is what, the match in Saudi Arabia? She's going to come out tonight to apathy & silence, just like always. Her on the preshow just reinforced that to me. Pushing the limits of mediocrity. Not a good promo, not a good worker (despite some rumblings about it for awhile), pretty much no character to speak of... and a lot of awful .gifs of her looking lost & clueless.
-
It's going to be super awkward when one of the commentators tries to shoe horn in a Kobe mention to be topical... probably on the preshow. I hope it at least comes off as sincere.
-
Admittedly, I do like Devlin & Garza. I think they have a lot of potential. But I'm not really feeling this 4-way. Just too many bodies. Everyone gets spots, then has to wait while their opponents get their spots. Doesn't feel like a fight at all. Hard to explain.
-
Well. Toni Storm Vs. Rhea Ripley should be good, I guess? For the Women's NXT Championship. This card looks dreadful to me though. Especially if you're not a fan of the wanna-be Shawn Michaels style of work. Like both factions in the main event are the shits. I would much rather have just had WALTER Vs. Cole. DIY/Mustache Mountain is going to be overly indulgent, masturbatory bullshit, guaranteed.
-
Feels like the best direction. Becky has cooled off a lot but there's not a male superstar that's over really either & Ronda coming back would be a huge thing. I mean, what's the alternative? Kevin Owens main eventing Wrestlemania? No, please.
-
That sequence where Thunder Rosa went for a running flipping Senton off the apron onto a standing Kay, whom caught her & hit her with the apron Powerbomb was insane.
-
RIP my entire bracket. But both those opening matches were fun.

I decided I'll be watching the Pay-Per-View after all. I'm interested in the TV Title Tournament. Plus, honestly, 7PM on Friday Night is a great time for me as a fan. I don't have anything going on & I'm not going to watch Smackdown...
