  1. In my experience there is no rhyme or reason to what gets taken down
  2. Haha...I've made Pete watch some garbage, but I can proudly say I've never made him watch Kane
  3. Well, on the positive side, next week Pete and I are going to do a pod on Holy Grails, so maybe that will put a smile on people's faces in these tough times
  4. It's going to be random. One week we'll get something awesome ala Piper vs Valentine, next week we'll get developmental, before they were stars stuff. Hopefully more of the former
  5. I had the same issue last night. I'm not sure what changed, but you can still embed the link in text, like this Looks like it's been blocked already. You flew to close to the sun with Gargano vs Ciampa
  6. Episode 34 (Johnny's Birthday Bash Bonus!) https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/world-cast-34 October 30, 1982 (WCCW 45) *Apologies for echo-y audio at times* The boys get together to talk WCCW on Johnny's birthday and decide to have some fun by watching a really awesome wrestling match for a change! As a bonus they review Ric Flair vs David Von Erich from Fort Worth, 10/11/82. This one is not on the Network but can be found here, the first match on the video After that, it's back to reality. We get... -The Samoan and his snake -King Kong Bundy on strike -5 DIFFERENT MASKED WRESTLERS, FOLKS -Saldi being Saldi, and garbled audio throughout ...BUT, we also get the debut of Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy, so things continue to pick up at the top even if most of the roster is uninspiring World Cast: Happy 12th birthday (in 1982) Johnny!
  7. Does he have a hope in Hell of winning this fight on Saturday, or is he fighting a tomato can this time?
  8. Deja vu all over again
  9. Yeah, love that move too. Bad ass
  10. Milano, always so blunt. But yes, I don't think many, if any, folks who post here will vote no. Well, I guess maybe more 5 years ago than now...
  11. Batista is doing well, but the Rock is a legit huge star in Hollywood who everyone knows

I'm just saying 2019, Fox Network, a guy who is like a Marvel superhero come to life...but it all depends on the commitment from above of course

Good thing he wont have to impress cynical hardcore wrestling fans to become a sensation...yeesh

Watch his match and then the segment from the last show with Dream, he's over on another level doing things nobody else can do. The crowd is in awe of him. He got a friggen standing ovation mid match after that suplex spot. Sure it's Full Sail, but I think he's got big time crossover appeal. He feels like 2018 more than any other wrestler

If given the right platform, Ricochet is the guy who would make wrestling mainstream again
  17. So when is this bad boy set to start?
  18. World Cast What If...?: WWE Hidden Gems https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/world-cast-what-if-wwe-hidden-gems Pete, Kelly, and Johnny take a look at some choice cuts (ie. nothing post-1990) from the big Hidden Gems drop this past Thursday. Each and every one of these is given thorough examination as only the boys can... This is Your Life: Jack Brisco Clubbing With Sheiky Baby Meet the Lugar A Lesson from Funk University Dog Fight A Race for The Yellow Rose The Hammer Pays the Piper Some of these gems are truly rare, some are hilarious, some are a great look at wrestling history, and Valentine vs Piper is an instant classic. Sit back and enjoy!
  19. The first post in this thread
  20. In the lead up to the Inoki match, Ali had two in the AWA from the Chicago Amphitheater, taped the same day I believe. I'm assuming those are the ones on YouTube you found Kenny Jay and Buddy Wolfe are the two I found. Yep, those are the two

  22. I'm not sure his day-to-day post-accident situation, but he did manage Dale Valentine (Buddy Roberts) in San Antonio in the late-70s and appeared on TV with arm-support crutches
  23. Episode 33 https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/world-cast-33 October 23, 1982 (WCCW 44) Michael Hayes is taking the territory by storm, but otherwise it's still same old, same old... -Ken "The Candyman" Mantell: Cockfighting Artist -Kabuki vs Good Ol' Al: Dudsville, USA -Kerry Von Erich's doctor: No Dr. Kildare, that's for sure -David Von Erich: 9 seconds in heaven World Cast: Next week we get Bam Bam, baby!
  24. You won't get any of that because it's Vader winning the strap back not Simmons winning
