  1. Not a playlist, but there are a ton of YouTube links to Bruno matches in yesterday's daily update on the Observer site https://www.f4wonline.com/daily-updates/daily-update-bruno-sammartino-harry-smith-gaburick-256031

  3. One thing is for certain, Dave's bio of Bruno in today's WON is fantastic
  4. No, the Network show is its own thing
  5. And for those a bit more adventurous, one of my favorite Bruno matches, vs Spiros Arion 2/17/75 MSG
  6. Here's a quick one that pretty much encapsulates Bruno's connection with the fans

    NXT talk

I think he'll survive it Sullivan vs Dain was nuts
  8. I think the actual number is about 45 or so, around the same as Backlund actually. So it's a pretty big exaggeration. I don't think Bruno even appeared on 187 MSG shows total. Wrestling at MSG was hot from 63-65, but was relatively cold for the rest of the decade with no sellouts from early 65 until June of 1970. Bruno's second reign was full of sellouts, but so were Morales', Graham's and Backlund's reigns. But whatever, Bruno was fucking God
  9. This one hurts. RIP to the Living Legend
  10. Ok, it's been 21 years since I've seen that match, so cut me some slack
  11. Austin cost Hart the Rumble and then the WWF title on Raw against Sid in a cage. That pretty much escalated things enough
  12. If Judy Bagwell's banned ass is out there somewhere lurking, fuck Lapsed Fan and fuck you. (Years old reference)
  13. The Eighth Wonder of the World Cast: Andre the Giant HBO Doc Review https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/the-eighth-wonder-of-the-world-cast-andre-the-giant-hbo-doc-review Kelly, Pete and Johnny take a brief break from WCCW to review the Andre the Giant documentary recently broadcast on HBO. The boys discuss the doc in depth, their personal memories of Andre, and include additional historical information not found in the film. A good time was had by all so please enjoy this look at one of wrestling's greatest legends!
  14. Golden Lovers vs Young Bucks was good but hardly great imo. That's the one for me
  15. Hey, thanks for the plug. I should've created a thread here, but I thought this was more of an Easter egg or hidden track rather than an official show. Not sure how often these will drop. Basically whenever the mood arises
  16. I've never once watched Asuka on TV or in person and thought "You know what? She's not really that over". It's not smoke and mirrors, she's over
  17. Oh I'm sure it won't be a problem considering the material
  18. I'm no fan of Mauro's commentary, believe me, but seeing him mark out like crazy while commentating is cool. Percy too https://twitter.com/WWE/status/984144841427664896?s=09
  19. Episode 31 https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/world-cast-31 October 9, 1982 (WCCW 42) With Michael Hayes' arrival imminent, World Class bottoms out with a turd of a show. Don't get me wrong, the vignette chronicling Bill Mercer's complex relationship with Gary Hart/Mercer interviewing Hart and THE Checkmate at H & H Enterprises HQ is fascinating, must-watch stuff. It's just that the actual wrestling is turgid, featuring... -Brian Adidas working a "clopen" shift -Bugsy still refusing to wear men's sized shorts -David Von Erich perfecting the "David finish" World Cast: Nowhere to go but up!
  20. I think they just booked a worked-shoot to work the smart fans. Postmodern 2018 pro wrestling
  21. A Wrestlemania full of surprises and one classic match (Rousey tag). Charlotte vs Asuka was great too but I'm sad to see the streak end. I'm still a mark for shit like that
  22. Cena vs Taker was basically the ultimate smoke and mirrors match. That's why it wasn't officially announced ahead of time. It wasn't supposed to be a "real" match, just a Wrestlemania moment, and better than Taker struggling through some long and sloppy match like last year
  23. Ok, now it's the greatest Wrestlemania ever, forget the last three hours this clinched it
  24. Best HHH match ever
