Yeah, the relationship between WWE and MSG hasn't been like the glory days for quite some time. I don't think there is any kind of exclusivity privilege these days
-
If they run it during Mania week with a strong card I could see a sellout
-
I always had an idea to do a late 60s/ early 70s DC ep of Imaginary Stories where we focused on Adams stuff like Deadman and Arrow/Lantern. It's a really interesting era

World Cast: A WCCW Review

Episode 35 https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/world-cast-35 November 6, 1982 (WCCW 46) One of the joys of wading through the mire is when something great comes out of nowhere, which we get in this episode with a hot angle involving the Freebirds and Bundy/Irwin. Other than that, not much to see here... -Hot newcomer Kabuki getting a big push 18 months into his run -Kerry Von Erich interviewed by Bill Mercer on "Good Afternoon, Dallas" -Bugsy totally confused by the wily The Checkmate -Kevin Von Erich vs Bill Irwin in their mandatory once a month main event World Cast: We give you more than what you pay for -
I used to be a huge fan but only dabble in comics here and there these days. Currently reading 1962-1964 Dick Tracy strips, where they introduce the Space Coupe, Moon Maid and all the sci fi jazz. Also reading Mike Allred's Silver Surfer off and on. Growing up I was big into Spider Man, Hulk, FF, Thor, Captain America but also DC stuff like the Flash, New Teen Titans, Swamp Thing and the whole Multiverse in general. Haven't really been a consistent comic reader since 2001/02 other than a brief resurgence around 06/07

Also, someone should create a June match folder so this card can be broken down properly.☺ I'm definitely going to check out the top matches
-
So the main was either one of the greatest matches ever or one of the worst. 2018

Enjoyed the preview and the Kaufman show. This could be a very interesting listen going forward. Good work -
Sounds about right considering his posting history

Tough question. Randall was the reason I became a fan, but Donovan was the qb during my favorite years. I'll go with Donovan because I saw his whole career, whereas I only caught the last 4 or so years of Randall's -
I think this has great potential and I look forward to being able to contribute where I can

Haha...no. I'm actually a long time fan of the Eagles, so it has nothing to do with that. Ricky Jackson was my name from 90s backyard wrestling when I was in high school, which I actually first used as a name in a video I made for a school project in grade 8 where I played an investigative journalist -
Can someone fix the YouTube links deal or is that just the way it is now?
-
Haha...I've made Pete watch some garbage, but I can proudly say I've never made him watch Kane
-
Well, on the positive side, next week Pete and I are going to do a pod on Holy Grails, so maybe that will put a smile on people's faces in these tough times
-
It's going to be random. One week we'll get something awesome ala Piper vs Valentine, next week we'll get developmental, before they were stars stuff. Hopefully more of the former

Episode 34 (Johnny's Birthday Bash Bonus!) https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/world-cast-34 October 30, 1982 (WCCW 45) *Apologies for echo-y audio at times* The boys get together to talk WCCW on Johnny's birthday and decide to have some fun by watching a really awesome wrestling match for a change! As a bonus they review Ric Flair vs David Von Erich from Fort Worth, 10/11/82. This one is not on the Network but can be found here, the first match on the video After that, it's back to reality. We get... -The Samoan and his snake -King Kong Bundy on strike -5 DIFFERENT MASKED WRESTLERS, FOLKS -Saldi being Saldi, and garbled audio throughout ...BUT, we also get the debut of Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy, so things continue to pick up at the top even if most of the roster is uninspiring World Cast: Happy 12th birthday (in 1982) Johnny! -

Does he have a hope in Hell of winning this fight on Saturday, or is he fighting a tomato can this time? -

Wrestling moves/holds I'd like to see mount a comeback

Yeah, love that move too. Bad ass -
Milano, always so blunt. But yes, I don't think many, if any, folks who post here will vote no. Well, I guess maybe more 5 years ago than now...

Batista is doing well, but the Rock is a legit huge star in Hollywood who everyone knows
