  1. Not exactly breaking news here but Elizabeth is a BRUTAL interview.
  2. Coming from anyone else these would be valid points, but the insanity of someone who was ACTUALLY putting people out of business and using underhanded tactics to do so, now getting pissy that it's happening to him is unreal.
  3. I also noticed Debra and Linda. And Woman was married to Sullivan at the time.
  4. Faith No More guy. I don't know anything about him other than he's a part of that group of northeast guys that seemed to make it to an AWFUL lot of ECW/WWF shows around this time. The most famous of those guys being Vladimir.
  5. Yeah by the time they did the "big" end to these skits at Wrestlemania it was already known that 2 of the guys they were most proud of were gonna be leaving. People give Bischoff a lot of (deserved) criticism for his petty swiping at the WWF but they did a lot of the same shit even years later, when they had all but won, with the DX invasions and stuff.
  6. I thought Jimmy Hart, Sullivan and The Giant were all good here, given the material.
  7. This is in my hometown, I remember they came back a few months later for a house show that had Flair vs Sting and it was an even better version of this match.
  8. I think they were trying to do a Superman III thing where he was progressively getting to be more and more of a dick (only not because of tar-lace kryptonite, instead because of washed up wrestlers with goofy gimmicks). I'm not an expert on 1995 WCW so I look forward to watching the rest of the year to see if there's a payoff moment where he goes back to being "good" but since it's WCW, I'm not counting on it.
  9. How did I make it to 2012 before seeing this? Hilarious.
  10. He was a huge jerk at the beginning telling Gene and his "friend" Jimmy Hart to shut up.
  11. Every time I see Johnny B Badd all I can think about is how my 7th grade Geography teacher had an autographed 8x10 of him behind her desk. After staring at it for months I finally worked up the nerve to ask her about it. She was like "OH HES SO CUTE I JUST LOVE HIM". I never mentioned it again.
  12. I hope no one's girlfriend/roomate/parent/friend walks in while they're on this portion of the DVD.
  13. It's such a weird finish. If they wanted to renege on the advertised stip, why involve Owen in the finish at all? Bulldog or even Yoko getting pinned would have made more sense. It's almost WCWian in it's lack of logic.
  14. Yeah, there was actually a sitdown interview with his wife a few weeks earlier.
  15. Given Lawler's million year feud with Bret at the time, it was funny when he was doing the whole "I CAN'T STAND SHAWN" and being disgusted by the striptease which is Bret's opinions summed up.
  16. So this is reason they did the Nitro there.
  17. McMichael was a terrible commentator but I suppose he at least had passion for the sport? He seems genuinely excited (maybe overly so at times) Bischoff is terrible too in this era of Nitro. He'd just shit all over most guys that weren't Hogan, Sting or Savage.
  18. Bulldog did a really cool powerslam to Diesel here. He picked him up so effortlessly that it made Nash look small.
  19. They have the legit baddest dude in wrestling at the time and they put him in a giant goofy head like you'd see at Disneyland. Oh, WCW.
  20. I hadn't watched wrestling in almost 3 years when I saw this (and the past few weeks) episode of ECW. I live in Florida and was pretty excited by what I saw. Then it disappeared, because of this angle. It wasn't available again in Florida until well after the first PPV.
