Supposed to see Ron Starr show up already. He was one of my many cuts that I initiallly thought might have a chance.

Billy Wolfe was a real POS from reading the Mildred Burke book. Stealing money, pimping the girls out, sleeping with them himself, etc,.

I think we all knew it was coming, still sad to hear. Blackjack falls into the category of a guy I liked because of his look and charisma when I was a kid. Great talker that doesn't seem to get recognized enough for that. Really big guy in his era as well which made him stand out. Another legend gone. RIP Blackjack Mulligan.

Rotunda with 4 votes? Honestly I don't mind some of his tag work, but his singles stuff really bores me. I can only think of one singles match I thought was okay against Sting. Maybe someone was going by his tag stuff. I still don't see top 100. These reveals are really interesting so far.
-
I thought the same thing. Wasn't even a consideration despite being amused at some of his Memphis and Stampede stuff that I saw while watching other guys. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
-
I was the other vote for him. I always liked his work. For this project since I was very familiar with him I only rewatched a handful of his matches and I thought they held up. Maybe I should of watched more since general consensus is they didn't 😞
-
Well this is disappointing. I really wanted to see what pic Steven would of posted for Saggs.
-
That pic of Chris Colt is fricken crazy. I personally just didn't see enough footage of Colt to even consider him besides a handful of Portland matches.

Lacey Von Erich has 3 kids last I heard. I would imagine her in ring career is over. Not that you can't wrestling having kids, I'm just guessing that she would want to be there for them.

Edge and Christian were at times called the E & C Dynasty. I always thought they should of officially adopted that as their name.
-
I have to say seeing the list posted like this is a blast so far. I didn't think my anticipation level would be quite this high.
-
Interesting comparison. I never thought of 2004 Raw like that at all. Maybe if I did I would of enjoyed it more.

Really fun show overall. The 4 plus hours went by quickly I thought. Even my Wife's attention span didn't wander. The kids were a different story. I was glad to see the Godfather go on first. Good way to kick it off. The Freebirds and Sting had the best speeches. I was pleasantly surprised that I like Snoop's speech as well. The Dudleys did a great job I thought in introducing Jackie. Dana went a little too long long with her intro. I wonder if they will continue to have her do those in the future.

Finally put my singles ballot in as I turned my tag one in weeks ago. I wanted to put match recommendations like I did for the tag, but I just ran out of time for that. Especially with a 100 guys it seemed a little daunting. Can't wait for the results.

Paul Orndorff is a guy I thought of right away. Effective as a tag guy early in his career and late. Way over as a singles heel and a pretty decent as a singles face. Probably the shortest guy Hogan ever worked with on top for a long length of time. I'd throw Savage in the mix as well. Later in his career he was such a big name, I'm not sure how effective of a tag wrestler he would of been unless your were trying elevate his partner.

I thought you guys were joking about New Day inducting the Birds. I checked The WWE site and sure enough it's not a joke. I thought Kevin Von Erich was supposed to. I wonder what happened to that or if that was just a rumor I read.
-
At first I wasn't liking this year's list. Now with Hansen along with Sting and the Birds. I'm looking forward to watching it.
-
Strike Force. It was the only team that I was considering putting on my list and didn't see.
-
I turned in my tag team ballot. I liked how you could add match recommendations. I added 50 (2 for every team) of some of the matches I used to determine my rankings. Not sure I will do that for the singles due to time restraints.
-
After this I plan on trying to make a list of the top 50 ( U.S. only) Tag Team matches. I've been compiling a list during this process and will need to add to it still then narrow it down. I'm in no hurry to finish, just something I've always wanted to do.

That mat is brutal. It looks like a giant throwaway picnic table cloth.

About frickin time. I always figured it was some sort of rib on Hayes to not put them in. Too bad Buddy has now passed.
