Liger-Breeze was a ton of fun and much more than I expected. Not familiar with these teams as I only catch NXT tv from time to time. Alexa Bliss looks good in those shorts. Not sure about the Boardwalk Empire crew.

I know I didn't get tix initially because there was no lineup. And again didn't get tix once the card started to take shape because it wasn't that attractive. But remind me why I'm not there tonight? Still better watching on the big screen than chillings with the inlaws on vacay.

Probably not, but if the standard are 3 of the 5 or 10 best ever and another who's not far off, then almost every wrestler ever fails in comparison. Yes, I think his matches with Suzuki in 2012, a few with Okada and the G1 final with Nakamura are leaps and bounds better than any of these.

Echo this. I've yet to find the Young Bucks that isn't fun. I'm a Bucks fan, too, but I am mostly an unabashed PWG mark. I can't say I have loved them in ROH nearly as much. Strongly agree with PWG Bucks > ROH Bucks (not that I don't enjoy the latter). But I also enjoy what they bring to the NJPW undercard every time out. They've got a distinct place on the show there that's a nice contrast from everything else going on and the matches are always entertaining for that style.

Side question -- who will be your highest female worker and how high? I imagine it'll be Bull for me and can't imagine lower than top third, but haven't yet wrapped my head around how to rank them.

There are shoot style guys like Volk Han who probably had less matches total than Jose has on tape that people still seem to be really high on voting for so it's not like there's no precedent. Don't we have most of Han's work on tape though? Or close? I think there's a huge difference where a small sample of matches represents a fraction of someone's output as opposed to a majority of it.

Is that enough for many people to comfortably say he should or shouldn't rank? I don't think I could place someone based on that sample size but curious what standards others have.

Interesting. I think junior is a lock on mine but haven't fleshed it out. Big Dusty is absolutely making it, though where remains to be seen.

I could see having as many as 6-7 of your top 10 in mine, and very possibly the same top 2 (order not withstanding). Top of the board will be a tough one!

OJ, watching the 80s AJ set this was the one matchup that disappointed more than any other. As you noted the expectations were so high and yet they never clicked on even a four star level. Definitely kicked it into gear in tags against and with each other, but one on one always left you underwhelmed. Both can sell, but I'm not sure either was willing to fully take on that role and perhaps as as a result the matches fell into a clash of the titans type of struggle, only missing the epic clash. Really odd dynamic.

Go alone. I hit events alone all the time. Yep that is absolutely where we're leaning. But will wait to see how the weather holds up.

Almost entirely lineup based for me. NXT was close to sold out before they announced anything, and the card isn't one I felt I had to be there for. Planned on going to ROH because with the NJPW crew in town its a great looking show, but my friend backed out so its either go solo or drag the wife and issue a huge IOU. We'll see what the forecast is in a couple days and make it a game time decision.

TNM was GREAT. No clue if Oliver Copp is still doing anything with it, but I remember having a blast with that as far back as high school. I still even email every so often with someone I met through there that's a big wrestling fan. Hours upon hours of fun in an age before I could get my hands on a comparable quantity of the real stuff.
