  1. That's too meta. The heat would to on the company and not Rollins. It will be yet another 'See how WWE fucks everything up!" and not "Gee! That Rollins guy is a good-for-nothing bastard. I hope Bryan gives him what's coming to him!".
  2. There is no way Victoria should be included. Why? What has she done? She wasn't over the majority of her career, wasn't a good promo, and overall plain in the ring. I hope she doesn't get in. WWE is re-shaping the word 'legend' and its starting to mean less and less. There are really only two other women for WWE to put in its HOF: Sable and Chyna. It shouldn't be too hard to do Sable as she is Lesnar's wife and if WM is going to be his last match- WWE might as well pull the trigger.i Who would I like to see go in alongside Savage? Teddy Long Kevin Nash Harlem Heat (these guys are back together and are 10 time WCW tag team champions). Sable The Undertaker ( everyone needs to stop with this talk of 'one more match'. Let's do it right while he is still with us). Rick Martel I would love for WWE to just say 'Fuck It' and have the 2016 HOF Class consist of: Lex Luger, DDP, Sabu, Kane (who should be fucking retired as an on-air character by then! FUCK! ), Rick Rude, The NWO, and Paul Heyman.
  3. Have the exact same scenario, but no clue what the problem is with Firefox. It's been that way for almost a month now. Are you guys using adblock? I think its something in WWE's code because I am experiencing the same problem and I updated the shit out of my CPU and tried all different adjustments. I can't think of what new feature they added that isn't compatible with FF as of yet. But yes, for now- I am using Chrome as well if I want to watch The Network.
  4. Why not make Reigns like Goldberg? Its so simple. Reigns can't really work and is just a few cool moves and a decent (at times) promo. Let him run through the Ryder's, Slater's, and Young's of the roster. 2 minute matches on Raw and Smackdown. The guy would like even more beast then whatever they are doing with him now.
  5. Unfortunately Dylan tapped out on reviews of Impact. Hales needs to MAN UP~! and get the reviews running again. Granted, its a tall order and someone (not me as I'm broke) should pay the man for his time.
  6. It's pretty sad to watch WWE go completely out-of-its-way to make sure things don't mean anything. Even-stevening booking, John Cena being FIRED and opening up Raw the following week, The Authority being OUT-OF-POWER FOREVER- only to come back a month later, AJ Lee being made the PERMANENT GM- until Vickie, etc. took over, CM Punk 'leaving WWE' after MITB only to return 2 weeks later, etc. WWE constantly rotating writers is also a big problem because you got guys/gals who only know 'evil authority figure' and know Vince/Steph/HHH pops for that shit and so it continues a million times over.
  7. I like DZ. My biggest problem with him is that he has repeated his stuff so many times that people believe it without really calling any of it into question. There is nothing overly amazing DZ does in-the-ring that makes any of what he says tangible. HBK called himself 'The Showstopper' while he was doing all of this crazy shit in the ring. Sabu was called 'The Homicidal, etc. etc." because he was a nut case in the ring and doing all these crazy moves. What exactly does DZ do in the ring that makes him a 'show off'? Again, the true answer to that question is very meta and the essence of DZ's character is meta as hell which kinda bugs me.
  8. I couldn't put it in my MOTY list for the simple fact that taken completely out-of-context, its just a guy getting his ass whooped for 10 minutes. The story going into the match is VERY important to the match.
  9. If WWE doesn't want Bryan to win the RR, then its time to pass the heat to someone who needs it. Who is WWE trying to get over a top heel that perhaps isn't connecting the way they should be? Cesaro? Harper (maybe)? Whomever eliminates Bryan will be the biggest heel in the company plain and simple.
  10. No. CSS is run by a bunch of marks. They hate everything about pro wrestling and are very condescending to its readers. Just look at the disclaimers within the 'rumor' section on that site. Its a very 'pat-on-the-head' our readers are 'special' mentality. The site's main demographic is smarks between the ages of 12 and 19. You know. The people who think Cena is a bad wrestler, WWE Divas 'get no respect', and other early 2000 internet wrestling fandom tropes. The site had been going down-hill for a long time but what really got me to 'check out' of that site once-and-for all is one of the articles written about The Million Dollar Man's documentary and it was titled something like "The Million Dollar Man Has a New Movie About His Story-- But is it Worth Telling?". The guys over there just can't get their heads out their own asses. Even the Smackdown/Mainevent spoilers are full of un-needed snark. If CSS eliminated the smark/snarky shit it would probably be passable on a good day. There is no way the admin or any of the staff writers (expect for maybe one or two) can say with a straight-face that they are not overly jaded and/or completely burnt out of pro wrestling. It just makes for bad reading when you know someone is just rolling his/her eyes while writing a piece.
  11. Good stuff thus far.
  12. Its said reading this thread and seeing so many good ideas that weren't thought about for more then a few seconds. Things little things combine what WWE wants to do, but makes them so much more interesting.
  13. I'm not saying the show or the interview was bad. Far from it. It just I don't like powderpuff interviews. Again, I know WHY certain questions weren't asked, but if I had Jarrett for 15 minutes there would be certain things I would want to know and no carny answers would be tolerated. You guys didn't do a bad job. Its just is came off as a fluff piece and I don't like fluff pieces.
  14. Jarrett is making his rounds doing powderpuff interviews. This is the first I heard of them and now MLW did one with him this week. Totally not interested. Too much ass kissing in this episode and no real questions were asked. I understand WHY that was done, but still.
  15. I think a tag match would be best for Taker. I wish The Wyatts were still together because a Taker/Kane (not Corporate Kane) vs. The Wyatts in a two-on-three handicap match would be pretty awesome to see.
  16. Chrome has been smooth. Safari is interesting because I try to login (I click login) and I never get the sign to actually punch in my credentials, it keeps circling back to the login screen. Again, I find it interesting as my Safari, firmware, cpu, etc. is all updated and I cleared my cookies, history, etc. in Safari multiple times and restarted my computer. I'm a tech guy so I always make sure those bases are covered- next step will be to uninstall and re-install. I've been too lazy to do that (even thought it takes less than a minute), but will get around to it before the end-of-the-year.
  17. I can't see Neville on the main roster with any gimmick outside of Evan Bourne 2.0 (with music and all). I would definitely like to see the space theme explored but WWE will either go completely overboard (as mentioned in this thread) or only go as far as buying Neville an astronaut costume ala Paul London. I think the best bet for Neville is for WWE to get him gear that plays well with illusions. Not 3D per-say, but definitely something that makes his movements seem magically.
  18. I am not sure what was going on with the 1,000 headlocks in this match. Was Bulldog really that blown up? Did he always wrestle like that? Perhaps I need to brush up on my mid 90's Bulldog. The agility of Bulldog in this match is amazing. The drop kick to Michaels while Michaels sat on top of the 3rd turn buckle. The obvious flip to the outside under the guise of a head scissors by Michaels. Very entertaining from start-to-finish. I remember loving it as a kid and it still holds up. Owen on commentary throughout the entire show (and especially this match) is great and brings everything to a different level. If Dolph Ziggler is going to bump like Michaels and make comebacks like Michaels, he also needs to understand the effective offense Michaels used in his matches. Ziggler doesn't have anything that looks amazing or overly impactful. KOTR 96 is a great study for someone like Ziggler on how to work from the bottom, make comebacks, cut off your opponent, etc. etc.
  19. I just finished watching KOTR 96 (amongst other things) and Ahmed nearly hurts himself legit about 2 times in this match. A ton of disgusting stuff from Dustin this match which lead to a satisfying end. In an interview Ahmed says that Goldust played a trick on him and really kissed him (Goldust not kissing his own hand as planned). Ahmed then claims that when he made his comeback Goldust didn't fight back for a reason. That statement has always been interesting to me because Ahmed is clearly breaking kayfabe but then merges right back into kayfabe to prove how 'macho' he is. Perhaps Goldust didn't 'fight back' because it was the final stretch of the match and he wasn't suppose to?
  20. WWE GAB 07 is a pretty fun show. Just finished watching it. Bobby Lashley, Jeff Hardy, and Umaga were all so good around that time. The worse match on this card was NOT Candice Michelle vs. Melina. That honor goes to Kane/Batista/Khali. I feel like this is one of those matches Vince wanted to build to and no one had the balls to tell Vince its a terrible idea. This show has Hornswoggle winning the CW title to a massive pop, Dusty Rhodes cutting a classic American Dream promo as only he can, and Lashley/Cena making a strong case of being in the top 20 WWE matches of 2007. I wouldn't recommend anyone going completely out of his/her way to see this show, but if you have some time to kill on a Sunday (or in an airport on Christmas Day), check it out. Must Watch: Cena/Lashley Punk/Morrison Hardy/Umaga Dream's promo Honorable Mention: Orton/Dream in a Bull Rope match
  21. Precarious and its variations are used. Example: Shawn Michaels is an a precarious position on the top rope! Gingerly is often used when someone is crotched on the top, sat on the top turnbuckle, hung upside down in the turnbuckle. Example: Against his will, Umaga sits gingerly on the ropes.
  22. Nope. Its been working fine for me all day. Unfortunately the website doesn't load through my FF anymore which is weird as EVERYTHING is updated and it was working a few days ago.
  23. Yep no shake-up has been reported. So its still going to be Hemme, Gaburick, Conway, Lagana, and someone else. I can't remember the other person. I am sure Borash sits in and we all know Russo WILL COME BACK.
  24. Is there ANYONE who is pro WWE status quo as it relates to the independent contractor stuff? Any wrestlers? Fans? ANYONE?
  25. I hope not. WWE needs to let it breathe. If WWE brings them back around SummerSlam 2015 (I have an entire angle in my head involving Cena/Bryan/and The Authority that plays off of SummerSlam 2013, Survivor Series 2014, 'Doing what's best for business', and a ton of other shit that would make Cena a heel without him actually being a heel. There will be a WM17 element), that is one thing. But why so soon. What I also don't understand is the rumour about WWE bringing them back to boost ratings. When did Stephanie/HHH become rating draws?
