Not sure, but I think it's from a couple of shows (another being in Sheffield) where it's the entire taping (including the into, gaps between matches and MC saying goodnight) rather than the TV broadcasts. So I assume it's originally from a master tape at ITV.

It was on the Old School section of the original WWE Network.

From the full press release it sounds like it's mainly about being an industry body rather than any kind of promotional alliance. They're doing a one-off joint show, but the main aim seems to be lobbying so that they get proper government assistance if they have to shut down in another pandemic.

I wonder if it's less "they did a coke spot, we have to pull the TV element of the deal" and more "I know we did a deal with Corgan but now we've signed NXT so we need to find any excuse we can to pull out. Roll the tape".

How WWE can do what it wants while still keeping the fans happy: * Zayn-Reigns at Elimination Chamber in Montreal, winds up with Zayn looking like he can win but Temporarily Good Uso turns against him. * Night One of Mania ends with Zayn/Owen beating the Usos for the tag belts. * Night Two of Mania is Rhodes-Reigns with a mid-match section where the Bloodline are doing loads of interference but Zayn and Uso run them off, leaving Rhodes to finish a fair one-on-one match.

I'm really baffled by the tag teams. Firstly, am I comparing their credentials against other tag teams or against all other candidates? If it's the latter, I'm not sure how anyone could argue for, eg, the Rockers when they pretty much headlined one AWA 'supershow' and a brief run of C shows where cripped Andre vs Warrior was the real main event. Secondly, am I taking into account just their tag run or their individual careers as well? If it's the former, as appears to be the case, I don't see how a UK team gets in because hardly anyone in the TV era was full-time in a tag team. You had regular pairings, but they'd always be doing singles matches as well, and not in a "one half of each team faces off sense." Also, if your singles matches don't affect your tag run, then by the same logic, should tag matches be taken into account for a singles candidate? Because if you take out the matches with Kernodle against Steamboat and Youngblood, Slaughter's case is much weaker. And how strictly do you enforce the logic. Clearly nobody's going to pay much attention to Jannetty's singles careers in assessing the Rockers. But are people really going to ignore every Taue singles match in assessing the drawing/work/influence of Kawada & Taue. And do you take into account six man matches where the unit of "Kawada & Taue" was part of the team?

I get that problem, but if I then hit the Browse button in the menu at the top it works fine.

Usually the kayfabe explanation is that the match order for the final nights is only preliminary and will be rearranged if necessary based on who is still in contention and how. (The idea being in both kayfabe and reality that you try to have the winner decided as late as possible.)

I checked out the 1989 Rumble (first with 30) and seven years later only four were still with WWF: Shawn Michaels as champion, Jake Roberts returning for a brief run and the Bushwhackers (who at this point in 1996 were 10 days away from their last match.)

It's Peacock Premium Plus. Which is a bit odd as the only difference is something (ads) being taken away.

Most of the time stuff leaves streaming platforms is because it's licensed for a set period, though. One of the key benefits of WWE Network is/was that it owned all the footage so there's no need to remove it.

Piper-Brown is now removed from the non-Peacock original WWE Network. Thumbnails still there but the video skips straight past it.

"Concussions aren't good for you" has been obvious for all time. "Suffering a second concussion while recovering from a first will exponentially increase the risk of long-term or permanent damage" is a more recent (2000s) finding. It's particularly relevant to wrestling where the repetition of specific spots (and even entire match sequences several times a week on house show swings) means there was a good shot you'd do something that caused a concussion, suck it up, then go out the next night and do the exact same thing.

Slightly off-topic, but an odd thought I had: which wrestler in the HOF (inducted primarily as a wrestler) had the fewest main events during their career? I wonder if it's Liger given he spent the bulk of his career in one promotion where he maybe only had a handful of main events.
