  1. Agreed.
  2. Is anyone watching WWE weekly TV anymore in this place? There hasn't been a thread for it in like 3 weeks I've barely watched anything besides PPVs after Mania and the last few weeks I haven't even bothered reading what's up. Was kinda surprised seeing on twitter this Sunday is the MITB show. Card so far is 1) The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso) © vs. The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, and/or Xavier Woods) - WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship 2) Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles vs. Baron Corbin vs. Sami Zayn vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Shinsuke Nakamura - Money in the Bank ladder match for a WWE Championship match contract 3) Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Natalya vs. Tamina vs. Carmella (with James Ellsworth) - Money in the Bank ladder match for a WWE SmackDown Women's Championship match contract 4) Naomi © vs. Lana - WWE SmackDown Women's Championship 5) Jinder Mahal © (with The Singh Brothers) vs. Randy Orton - WWE Championship
  3. Didn't you hate great match theory?
  4. Agreed. Hama is at this best when paired against Strong BJ.
  5. Fuck NO to Okada vs Omega II
  6. Honestly, if you pick Okada vs Omega II at the 37 minute mark or so (before the Bullet Club comes out) you might actually enjoy it. From that point on is a very fun spotfest and you wouldn't have to endure the meaningless bullshit that was the first 2/3 of the match.
  7. Add Tanahashi facing Billy fucking Gunn (https://twitter.com/jaudiowrestling/status/874100231587090432) and the interest in those shows is getting lower by the minute for me. I hope the tournament is fun at least.
  8. My god the first 40 minutes of Okada vs Omega were fucking horrible. Nothing happened (story wise, a whole bunch of moves and spots happened) and it felt like a fucking chore to watch. I really liked what they did after they teased throwing in the towel. But those first 2/3 of the match were way too fucking bad for the rest of the action to overcome it. It was another unnecessary long spotfest. Naito vs Tana on the other hand. Loved it.
  9. I'm not sure being a top 10 talent in 1 company is something worth praise.
  10. Yes to Shuji vs Miyahara. Didn't think much of the first half but the second one was pretty dope.
  11. YES to Suzuki vs Kamitani 5/25. Not on the level of the Sekimoto and Okabayashi matches but this was still really entertaining to watch. It was a completely different type of match, as it should've been, with Kamitani doing everything in his power to avoid Hideki's superior ability taking over. Finish was sudden but it fit with what Suzuki's is going for with this title reign. He's having an outstanding year in Big Japan.
  12. with all these what if threads popping up, why not create a subforum?

    WWE Backlash 2017

Nakamura has always coasted though. That was always his "issue" in New Japan. When he had a big match he showed out but otherwise he just went through the motions. He's whole career he's been inconsistent as a performer.

When was the last time WWE had a comedy match as entertaining as this one?
  17. YES to Dunne vs Bate.
  18. Wasn't Bret not a fan of the PG-13 content and fuckery the Attitude Era was bringing? How long does he stay with the company after putting Austin over?
  19. He should be back for Dominion ~ New Japan announced that Hiroshi Tanahashi has suffered a rupture to his right bicep tendon and will be out of action until the June 9 show at the Korakuen Hall. Satoshi Kojima will be replacing Tanahashi on the BOSJ tour shows. I hope he isn't rushing back, though it kinda looks like it.
  20. He was at the Nashville Predators playoff game. I think he was doing similar stuff to what Bryan was doing with the SF Giants.
  21. I'm with Johnny on this one, this thread is weird. Complaining about what other people complain about and then pretty much doing the same shit you are complaining about
  22. NOMINATING: Hideki Suzuki vs Yuji Okabayashi - BJW Endless Survivor 5/5/17 I really like this current Suzuki run against the Strong Heavyweight division. He brings a different dynamic to the matches and he's confident enough to look like a legit invader/ace. In this one he just obliterates Yuji's arm to limit his offense and it works. Okabayashi does a really good at selling - only 1 spot was iffy and it can be attributed to "fighting spirit" - it was like watching a wild beast trying to defeat a more intelligent opponent. Yokohama is tame as usual but I wasn't expecting anything different, the fact that they showed life for the last minutes shows the good job Hideki and Yuji did. The left plenty of room for a rematch so I hope we get to see it down the line. Now it's time for the young guns to step up to the plate, or at least that's what I hope, and that should be fun to watch.

  24. Misawa vs Bret is an interesting one. I'm not even sure how a match between both of them would've worked at their peaks but it would've been very interesting to see. Bryan Danielson vs Hiroshi Tanahashi (too early) Bryan Danielson vs Jerry Lawler (too late) Eddie Guerrero vs Terry Funk (too early, though it was still pretty damn good) Vader vs Hashimoto (see above)
