Nah. It took Roman 5-7 minutes to mount his comeback and get the spear, but it wasn't enough, so he ended up getting destroyed. Super Cena ended matches in 1 minute or less spurts, this was anything but that.
To add to everything already said. NOAH didn't help matters when they didn't have tryouts for like a decade. And when they finally had one it was already too late. The roster was way too thin in terms of up and comers, and the midcard was filled with people that didn't really matter or Jr Heavyweights.
I think that would've been bigger news considering Punk outsold Cena when Cena was still by far the n°1 merch seller in the company. Like, if AJ is drawing to that level I feel it would've had more impact, no?
Then again he got a Mcmahon match and is moving to RAW so that kinda makes sense...
