  1. TK the eternal dumb, wrestling message board poster. He ain't ever changing
  2. ZSJ vs Danielson in Osaka for Feb 11th has been officially announced
  3. ~!! Read Daniel Makabe's tweet about being involved in this too, really interested on what card y'all come up with.
  4. That'd be too perfect to get my hopes up for, lol.
  5. Both ZSJ and Danielson cut promos for a rematch of their WD match. Kinda sounds like it's will be a submissions only match. After the classic they had in Seattle and the minute or so they had at the start of the New Year Dash main event, count me in for it. Hopefully they do it soon before Dragon gets hurt again. Would love to see how an Osaka or Sumo Hall crowd reacts to it.
  6. As expected, Danielson vs Okada was much better with an actual story for them to sink their teeth in. Loved how the crowd reacting at every move Dragon pulled when hurting Okada's arm. I'm still not convinced they have good chemistry but this was much much better than the Forbidden Door matchup. Watched the final minutes of the main event and gawd damn is Naito still over as fuck. Fucking EVIL of all people showing up and Umino and Tsuji getting pinned. I fuking hate Gedo with a passion.
  7. Hate that they are going back to Hangman vs Swerve so soon. Neither guys can lose at this point and after the spectacle at Full Gear, there's no a lot more to do to make both guys look amazing regardless of the result. They have such a big roster with a lot of fucking talent, use it!!!
  8. True. I feel like KENTA peaked in 2008-09 -in terms of praise by online fans at least- and then was never again mentioned as a great wrestler by those who actually kept watching him. By 2012 he was definitely seen as "washed" and once WWE got him, no one that followed his latest years had a lot of faith in what he could do there. The hype was mostly from fans that had hear of him from his mid to late 00's work.
  9. Never really thought about it that way, very interesting. And yeah, Speedball is great but Kota has been facing top competition every time he's stepped foot in a ring since Bloodsport.
  10. I truly wonder what happened because his first match back was for Bloodsport against Mike Bailey and he looked more than fine in that one. It all went to shit after it.
  11. I wonder if Rock lowered his requirements about a potential match with Reigns or if WWE came to an agreement with him for the long term angle Rocky implied he wanted a few months back.
  12. Because Toni Storm put it on him. TK's dumb ass probqbly wasn't expecting the Jericho question to be asked before he has solo time. He actually took it off after he answered the question and then had to address the issue in two separate occassions.
  13. HHH won. Every wrestling fan wins. Thank you Endeavor (for now?). PS: Can we edit the thread title? WWE been on the upswing for 2 years now and been getting nothing but awesome news for what feels the last 4 months, lol.
  14. Lol, what? Lee was out 4 months after Full Gear 2022, and since he returned in March he's had like one or two matches each month. This year he's only had 17 matches total in AEW, and only 3 of them were singles matches that went past 8 minutes. I guess the Swerve match was initially booked to make another big injury angle to let him go rest again, but let's no act like Keith hasn't been given time to heal. If dude needed surgery and didn't get, not sure what you want AEW to do? We don't even know if they knew the extent of his injury.

    Worlds End

If anything, I was gladly surprised that Joe won clean as whistle. In kayfabe, it makes the most sense that he did, but I was certain that if they pulled the trigger on him, it was going to be via Devil fuckery. Sooooo happy Cole and MJF wont have the AEW Title involved for their feud. Nah man, let Danielson get a month to heal after Okada beats him on Thursday and just go straight to Joe vs Swerve for the belt. I'd even do it on a special Dynamite in February so they can have a big title change on TV again, don't wait till Revolution and risk Swerve losing his momentum due to TK's booking.
  16. The whole tournament, plus the post match promos have been uploaded to Youtube by AEW. Absolutely wonderful.
  17. And it's not over, these damn promos man...
  18. I agree, at least with her I'd be interested to see were they take the angle even though I have no faith in Tony being able to book something compelling.
  19. Danielson vs Eddie was dope, specially if you watch it on FITE so you can hear Dragon being an asshole in the first commercial break and them slowly working up the strike exchange until the came back from the break. I lost it at BD screaming "BUM" at every strike he hit in the final sequence The final angle was as uninteresting as expected. Even though he's lost all the momentum he had 6 weeks ago, I'd still take Joe getting a cheap win and a short title reign to put Swerve over than MJF defying all odds again with a "separated shoulder". The fact we still have to wait for this Devil horseshit to be revealed is painful.
  20. I don't know why people want Swerve downgrading to be the new de facto ROH champ. He shouldn't be winning the CC. He got protected as all hell, is still massively over and is gonna get a nice W over Keith Lee on PPV before going for the main belt, which is the thing he should be doing.
  21. With one eye, Danielson made the absolute most out of this tournament. Classic run by him. And Eddie...can only imagine what's he's gonna do tonight, can't fucking wait.
  22. TK better pony up the money for the first 25 minutes of Dynamite to be commercial free. People without FITE need to witness this coming match uninterrupted
  23. Eddie vs Andrade was great after the commercial break. We getting Eddie vs Dragon III I was hoping Kingston could finally get his W over Danielson on PPV but live on Dynamite will have to be enough.
  24. García vs Brody was really good too and it was the perfect example of why a tournament like this can work on a bunch of levels. Both are eliminated but both are more over than when they started and in the case of García, he finally has a real connection with the fans after more than a year of never really getting there with the crowd.
  25. Loved Claudio vs Danielson. My favorite part was in the first half were they teased the giant swing a couple of times, with Dragon finding cool ways to avoid it and the Claudio finally doing it by just being too cotdamn powerful. The early hesitation on Claudio, who progressively got meaner and more violent -even headbutting Danielson's eye- to the point of that final exchange of stomps to the head was something that feels very fitting for two BCC members facing each other. It was dope seeing and hearing the crowd go on their feet for the final few seconds, kinda shows that the CC concept really worked, they wanted to see Claudio win and advance.
