  1. Well Necro vs Joe is about 5 seconds shy of 10 minutes so there we go.
  2. Who is "We"? Si oem is dead.
  3. I'm scared that things will turn into "I don't think I've done enough to submit a ballot but you really should submit one." or "I'm really interested to see how it turns out" rather than making sure it turns out.

    Atlantis

I don't love Atlantis but I like Atlantis. He doesn't come across half as dynamic on the mat as cats like Satanico, Santo, or Panther but he has a certain aura about him. I'm going to piggy back off my methodology on Psicosis and say Atlantis may be one of the best big match workers I've seen. The classic of him vs. Villano III is the obvious one but an era where you can't really bring blood to the wager match table, Atlantis has dished out two great matches in as many years on the biggest stage in CMLL. I don't know 100% if I'll rank him but I'm certainly not closing the book on Atlantis even if he isn't one of my absolute favorite luchadores.

    Psicosis

I just watched his 1995 match against Santo and it is bloody good. While a lot of it is Santo dominating the match I don't think I view it as well if Psicosis isn't a bit of a mad man. The way he takes Santo's signature offense ranks highly as far as people taking that offense goes. It looks like his head wants to pull away from his body as he comes crashing to the mat off a headscissors. Just so good. I am better at ranking matches than I am wrestlers so I have to find cues sometimes to help me with the organization. It begins straying away from maybe who I feel in my gut are the Top 100 wrestlers into ranking them where I can point to certain things. Psicosis's "thing" is being a part of the best traveling duo I've ever seen. When looking at my list that'll count for at least something like Santo having my favorite signature spots will count for something. As of now will make my list even if I have no idea where.
  6. Just watched him vs. JT Southern. Needless to say he's making my list. EDIT: I also watched him vs. Takayama which for six minutes was a complete blast. Takayama looks like the giant from 300 and that don't get old. Also popped on a match with Tenryu/Araya against him and Iizuka which was friggin' great. His moments with Tenryu were out of this world intense.
  7. https://soundcloud.com/wedontknowwrestling/dragon-gate-sucks-eggs-w-th Sam is back with not Tanner since he has some car trouble. This forced good old Case Lowe to come in the clutch. Our special guest this week is Thomas Holzerman from The Wrestling Blog. We talk James Storm in NXT, how stupid I am for not remembering what the TNA World Title Series is, and much much more. 8. I can assure anyone here that I have more gaps than you.
  9. I'm submitting a list and you actually can't stop me. This is on your heads.

  12. https://soundcloud.com/wedontknowwrestling Doing rebranding of the WasimCast. Hated the name so we start anew. For the debut episode of the podcast we bring in Al Getz, owner of Whoo Wrestling. I know I'm not one of the big posters here but I'd also really enjoy feedback on the WDKW Postmortem #1. With everyone here being pretty knowledgeable and quite a few good writers here I thought it wouldn't be bad to ask your thoughts. http://wedontknowwrestling.tumblr.com/post/130330586595/wdkw-postmortem-1-i-cant-say-i-grasped-the
  13. IF you've never listened to the WasimCast, well you've missed a bit. LUCKILY we are starting a new podcast which is essentially the same podcast but on our own. http://www.spreaker.com/user/fourcornersradio/wasimcast-fin-sci-recap-questions Tanner and Sam are back with the FINAL WasimCast. They are joined by Ben (@BostonNooga) who is a true satanist if there ever was one. He was live for the very first annual Scenic City Invitational so we break it down match-by-match and see how the tournament shook out. Things such as the greatness of Kongo Kong and the needed expansion of Anthony Henry are on the docket. Also, football sucks mostly. Blame the Giants. We also received a bunch of nonsensical questions and we answer about 95% of them. Oh, the dirtsheets we named. FOLLOW: @4CRADIO @Tanner1495 @Concrete1992 https://soundcloud.com/wedontknowwrestling
  14. All Pro Wrestling just posted their show from Friday on Youtube. Notable matches include Gangrel vs. Tim Thatcher, Dylan Drake vs. MVP, and JR Kratos vs. Chris Masters. This is a stark contrast for APW, where often shows may never see the light of day. Couldn't tell you if this is a push in any direction but I accept this gift while it is here.
  15. I thought he was real good in Mexico under the mask, probably not as good as Kamaitachi currently but still.
  16. My curiosity lies in whether they've got a hair vs. mask match left in them. This match was utterly ridiculous in a manner that even exceeded their first bouts. These guys are REALLY dumb. Like, I love it but MAN were some of dumps in this cringeworthy. Why would they do this to themselves?! Kamaitachi going back to Japan only to get Desperado'd is going to be a real sad day. I may actually cry. Also, CMLL being booked like the shits means this will never be the IT style in the promotion. Not that this is a tremendous style, it is a spotfest afterall. It just seems that Lee vs. Virus is maybe the best match I would associate with being more in line with a CMLL style and without Virus having that belt we aren't getting big title matches even a couple times a year in that vein. What I'm saying is, I wish CMLL was booked less haphazardly.
  17. http://www.spreaker.com/user/fourcornersradio/wasimcast-19-wrestling-is-real-weird Kris Zellner(@KrisZellner) joins Tanner and Sam for another wonderful WasimCast. Secretly this podcast was designed for the kids to sit under the Zellner learning tree. And boy did we learn. We talk about tape trading, Mexican Facebook, Nick Gage, wrestling tournaments, and Sunny. Also, is Big Daddy a real big lad? All that AND MORE on this week's WasimCast. Go to http://www.placetobenation.com for the vast majority of Kris Zellner's podcasts...and boy are there a lot of them. But they are all REALLY GOOD so give them a listen. Between the Sheets, Exile on Badstreet, ect. FOLLOW: @4CRADIO @Tanner1495 @WasimCast
  18. 1. Vader -Tried watching him in a variety of settings for the GWE project and my goodness does he hold up in about all of them. Knocking bastards left and right. 2. Moose -MOOSE! MOOSE! MOOSE! 3. Aja Kong -You aren't guaranteed a great match out but you are guaranteed to question whether she should be wrestling these small ladies. 4. Ric Flair -Heard Flair was good. Theory holds up. 5. Emilio Charles Jr. -What is the opinion on this fella? Never quite figured it out. Never quite knew where to look. Either way, not a lot of imposing lucha fellas from my experiance that aren't just imposing when in brawls. He has a bit of that aura whether he's in trios or in a FIGHTING environment. Maybe I haven't seen enough. But I wanna see more.
  19. Canadia is on fire. Mike Baliey vs. Jack Evans happened at IWS Mike Bailey vs. REY F'N MYSTERIO WILL HAPPEN IN MONTREAL, MARCH 5th!
  20. So the Nick Gage Invitational took place last night for Game Changer Wrestling...without Nick Gage. They tweeted something about parole but hard to tell if it is a shoot. Still, considering it is a 2015 deathmatch tournament it looks pretty darn alright from clips. The atmosphere is completely fuggin' scuzzy in the best way possible. The fact that there seems to be honest to god people in attendance ups the ante. In Chikara King of Trios news/rumor, Fenix swore very loudly in his match (the news) and was told to leave afterwards because of it(rumor that robviper says is not at all true. Too bad).
  21. Quick thoughts on N1: -Tons of variety. Between character work, pacing, and stylistically, the show was super easy to get through(even if I skipped the main event because I am lazy) -Moose is wonderful. A truly shocking development. -I love beef. Love it between two slices of bread and love it between the ropes. Kongo Kong and Tank delivered essentially what I expected. I didn't need more than they gave me. THOUGH if Empire down the line wanted to book this in a more "hardcore" type match I would be 100% for it. -Coleman vs. Collins was my MOTN. Can totally understand why Henry vs. Rave got a ton of hype out of the show as it felt like a well worked main event to an ROH live event. And on this show that would certainly stick out compared to this match ACTUALLY being a main event on an ROH live event. Still, really good match. Coleman vs. Collins was more interesting on a couple levels though. First, Coleman doesn't get a ton of time to shine in ROH. In this R1 match he looked like one of the best hands on the indie scene today. Makes me want to go back through his AML work where he is champion(or was at least) even if it wasn't as good as the Collins match. He came across as someone you could easily throw into a TV title program or tag title program with no problem. The bump he took at the end looked ridiculous. Collins isn't a finished article by any means. Part of that is because he doesn't even have finished tights. Some of his suplexes were brutal though, in a completely awesome way. -Whoo has done a tremendous job at making these shows accessible. Many indies are hopping on the streaming service train BUT I'm not sure if there is a complete enough indie out there, outside of maybe EVOLVE, to make that a worthy purchase. With the SCI you have a piecemeal rental approach as well as a full show approach and I suppose a DVD approach as well if that is your speed. Southern indie wrestling is not known for their forward thinking approach to distribution. That is their prerogative though. Likewise, you can't blame people for not trying to scour the web for this stuff when it is hit-or-miss and even the hits can come in shite packaging. I know Empire TV has a video section on their site but I have lost the password twice so it can piss off. Like...just lemme watch the videos? Okay, Okay, back to Whoo and SCI. Giving customers choice is great. They've gone above and beyond to deliver that and I think they have even underpriced this. Actually, they've underpriced it but if the intent is to get people in the door after they tested things out with Styles vs. Rave then I completely understand. THAT match was not correctly priced in my eyes as it was $6 for a DVD with one match and for $3 you didn't even get to own it on VOD. Here they turned the corner and are giving you quality wrestling, quality production, very affordable pricing, and flexible purchasing. Whoo could do wonders on changing the perception of southern indie wrestling as "backwards" as far as releasing footage.
  22. I don't think I really started watching wrestling out of enjoyment of it. My dad was a fan of it back in the day so I watched it with him. Was something to do with him since he worked a good bit. I was a child brought up on the WWF Attitude Era baby and the fact that I am a fully functional person now is staggering stuff. I attached to the over-the-top nature of it all. In school I would become a drama club kid so it all sorta makes sense. Now I am less attached to that aspect. I watch it cause it is cool? I don't know. Characters performing to entertain in various different formats and settings. Like, watching Claudio's arc as a person in wrestling is awesome. Seeing him in ROH, wXw, Chikara, WWE, and NXT all present a slightly different version of the wrestler in front of a different crowd. I'm not even sure that is why I like it though. My emotions aren't mine to control! I can explain why I like X in the domain of Y but not sure about explain why I like Y. I can tell you why I like Game of Thrones or indie romances with a hint of sci-fi BUT I can't tell you why I like TV or movies.
  23. Yeah, there is a women's Top 50 issue too I believe.
  24. From the ratings I have seen I can confirm that I am lower on Hollis vs. Lynch than most but higher on Tank/Kong and Moose/Hamill. Those two matches made me want to eat several buckets of popcorn and scream for joy. If nothing else you can't say these shows don't have variety as I am only through half a card and everything feels fresh.
  25. Same post from the same person of the same list. Will respond with same remark: WHO GIVES A CRAP? (shot at list, not person JUST to clarify)
