  1. Fair point. We need to work on the groupings then.
  2. Would this work better? Portland - Vancouver JCP - Florida Memphis - ICW Southwest - WCCW AWA - WWA Central States- Mid South Georgia - Southeastern Stampede - Montreal WWF - Maple Leaf
  3. Yea that's pretty much what KrisZ said. Wahoos Leg can have first pick over who he wants to keep from Portland but he also has to provide at least enough people from the Portland roster and his own to give everyone 1 extra roster member. Which really just means that Wahoos Leg needs to pick 18 people out of his roster and the Portland roster to put into the dispersal draft and he gets to keep the rest. So essentially he can take the top 4 Portland guys he wants right off the top and anyone else he wants from Portland he has to displace someone off his own roster to get. That's another way to go, but I don't know if having too many new people come in at the same time would mess up his laid out plans. Wahoo's Leg would be the one to know best in that regard.
  4. There's 22 people on the Portland roster. If the idea we go with is a merge, then I'd suggest each territory get one wrestler after Wahoo's Leg makes an initial selection of who he wants to keep (maybe have the initial save pick and first round draft pick of Portland automatically go to Vancouver?). Anybody left over after after everybody else has received a wrestler can either stay in the merged territory or be dispersed according to how Wahoo's Leg decides.
  5. Not a crazy idea at all, actually a very sensible idea.
  6. Would like to request Giant Baba and Jumbo Tsuruta for Sept. 16-18.
  7. Bassarab is Toronto's, he was drafted by them so he stays put.
  8. That's a bummer, I was really looking forward to your take on Portland. No chance of you changing your mind? I'd recommend leaving Portland as is for now while the smoke clears. It's a little bit late to shift wrestlers around, but still early enough for the territory to start up. There is still the possibility of rainmakertv deciding he wants to take it over, or someone else who has been reading along like maybe the Bottomlessjack guy. That's why I recommend leaving Portland as is for now. If anyone decides to run Portland in the next week or two, they can always retroactively post July shows.

  10. I think we're going a bit cart before the horse here with Portland.
  11. It's still early enough where everyone is just getting started. I say we wait it out for now and see if Dylan wants to go ahead with Portland.
  12. So is the Harley vs. Andre match on the site 10/13/78 or 1/7/79? The 10/13/78 result listed here says it's 2 out of 3 falls to a double countout (same as the available match), while 1/7/79 says it's just a draw.
  13. It's coming, it's coming. Sorry for the delay, had some deadlines moved up at work last week which caused me to start later than I wanted in writing the shows (made the mistake of not writing anything until I received confirmation Race was coming in for the weekend). It's four house shows and two TV shows covering July 1-3 (WWC has both Saturday and Sunday TV).
  14. Other than Race keeping the title, I would say the following have the credibility to become champ in the near future without too much prep: 1) Ric Flair 2) Nick Bockwinkel 3) Sgt. Slaughter
  15. I agree that everyone has done an awesome job so far. I'm a bit behind in posting my cards from July 1 and 2. but I hope to be caught up by this weekend and get on the right schedule then. Think of it as it takes a while for news to come in from Puerto Rico.
  16. The NWA has two vice president positions if I remember correctly.
  17. Mr. Crockett has been gracious enough to contact me and clear up some of my doubts about the potential of closed circuit. I am in the process of reevaluating this information and deternining if it influences a change in my vote.
  18. What is the weirdest or most unlikely place you've seen or run into a wrestler?
  19. So what's next for this?

  22. We admire and respect all three candidates and would like to propose that whichever two candidates do not obtain election be nominated two the two vice-presidency posts. Our decision was made after careful consideration. While we are very excited about the proposed closed circuit Thanksgiving show and of the potential impact it may have (we would like to show our support for this venture by offering to send a showcase match for the card), we would like to see the end results of this endeavor in order to validate that this will result in the benefits that have been mentioned.
  23. Probably in a few 'years' once he's had a few more bloodbaths under his belt.
  24. Not being carved up by Abdullah the Butcher probably does wonders for one's disposition.
