From memory as havent seen it since SV released it possibly 93 time I thought Savage/Valentine was a pretty good wrestling match. The Iron man match from this show is probably the best Iron man match WWE have done. Fans generally I guess dont like it because they went a hour without one fall which is something ive always detested with the HHH/Rock one because of regular moves getting a 3 count.

Just watching a fantastic MSG show from May 84 and yet another match between Sheik/Slaughter turned into a real bloodbath man this stuff is golden.

Hopefully they will try and get Bob for 81 but why does he want so much. I guess there is little chance of getting Hogan to do a timeline.

Santino over Umaga for the IC title? Come on... This match was Bobby Lashley destroying Umaga with a chair, spearing him, then holding Santino over him for the pinfall! They gotta be clean victories, no outside interference, etc. Kurt Angle defeats Hulk Hogan by Submission. - I believe this was the first time in his career that Hogan had tapped out. It was a significant upset, given that Hogan was on a twilight megapush and had recently been the WWE Undisputed Champion. Meanwhile, Angle went cleanly over having just come out og a mid card feud with Edge. That one irritated me no end seeing the over babyface Hogan submit. My Kurt Angle action figure deffinately got a sound beating after that PPV was over. Back then didnt even see what the point was in Hogan jobbing to Angle after he dropped the belt the previous month. Yet Vince and co wanted me to actually believe Hulk wasent jobbing to Brock 2 months later.

Why would fans hate those? They were the pinnacle about what was so great in 80s wrestling.

I did enjoy the Survivor Series Main Event and it was pretty interesting however I do feel they should have kept the Sting angle going instead of just not mentioning it after the show. As a fan they missed the boat as they havent furthered the storyline at all. They've mentioned it, haven't you been listening to Michael Cole yell at us about THE VIGILANTE Sting? But yea it's kind of stupid that they haven't had him on TV since HHH & Steph couldn't continue the angle on their end either. But I think his contract was only for like 5 appearances? I forget exactly how many but it was between 3-6 and he's already used 1 for Survivor Series so they are just saving all his dates for the Mania build. Probably not no. Its a shame that his appearances are limited instead of getting paid a deal to work a few dates more for the buildup. The next night Hunter should have come out cut a promo on Sting how he cost him his power and money and really bash Sting and the following weeks on Raw leads up to Sting tormenting Hunter & the Authority until they finally square off at mania. Something like how Sting tormented the NWO in WCW for weeks before the big match. A couple of appearances before mania isnt enough build for me as id love it to be done properly.

It was for me the first Wrestlemania I saw thanks to Sky who decided to reair it in the lead up to the Savage/Hogan Main Event show. Loved every second of this show and probably watched it 50 or so times.

Did Studd winning the battle royal air on TV? As they mentioned it throughout the show and even showed footage after the match so guessing it happened at a televised show. Just watched the Sheik/Slaughter match from MSG in April 84 and it was absolutely amazing! Even McMahon got caught in the middle of it in the dressing room.

Im still in two minds when the Network finally comes out in the UK if ill actually bother to sign up for it because majority of stuff they have on it I have got from other traders in the past and while the Network will be HD versions its not something thats drawing me to the network. If they have some good stuff that isnt available id be tempted to sign up as at the moment Id feel I would be wasting my money. I know they do stuff like Countdown shows and stuff but majority are clips where id rather just see the full matches.

They shouldnt have put the title on him in the first place. What was the point in booking it if we arent going to get another Championship match till january.

Personally I think its absolutely disguisting we are coming up to january and we havent had a WWE Championship match since September. Just terrible booking and while fans bashed how Rocky had the belt least when he won it he was actually defending it in Feb and Mania. Just because they want to push Roman as the big guy who can finally be the one to take Lesnar down. Im not so convinced.

To fuck around with McMahon. I don't remember the reason, but Andre wasn't happy with Vince for some reason, so he choose to appear in WCW. 1992 seemed such a solid year for WCW. I dunno why alot of fans talk about how 1996 or 1998 was WCW's best year because 1992 was pretty impressive the amount of talent they had on their roster.

WWE likes to think that DX is the best ever thing to happen in the Attitude Era so maybe it makes them feel better if they have Shawn & Hunter on their twice. We all know NWO was the better group.

Currently watching Putski on Pipers Pit. Kinda wondered if anything signifficant happened in 84 apart from Hogan winning the belt as up to April and nothing noticable stands out. Will be happy when the main bulk of Mania 1 make their appearance ie Hart, Heenan, Studd, Volkoff, Beefcake, JYD, etc.

Lanny didnt want Michaels or Vince on the DVD for some reason according to his radio interview and kinda wished Patterson hadent taken part.

I did enjoy The Marine with Cena & the Scooby Doo film.

I thought it was sucessful? Its called Shimmer & WSU. I do miss the days of when WWE actually had talented women in the fed when they had gals from Japan.

Just picked this up myself and yes the footage is wonderful. Have they put on Tube everything they have or is there still more to come?

I'm not surprised that their own stuff is what they are uploading. Next in line is Prime Time according to the schedule. The TNT segment with Paul Orndorff insulting an overweight lady is tremendous. Is that the one in the Gym? In the UK in the 1980s which I didnt know at the time it was Orndorff he was ridiqueled on various compilation shows that looked at silly and funny stuff where he was berating someone at a gym. No idea where it was from though.

Would they get this wrong twice though?
