  1. Good Lord, I watched that "Memorable Moments" with Flair last night. What a train wreck. At one point, I was trying to figure out if he was being gracious to Taz or a jackass. Taz said he was the first person to give the middle finger on tv and didn't want to toot his own horn. Flair said, "go ahead, bro, that's why we're here..."
  2. For some reason, I had to clear my cache....now its working.
  3. Is the network down right now? I can't seem to find the login page.
  4. These are definitely great shows. I watched the "worst characters" one last night. Great stuff.
  5. Just watched that tag match the other day on one of the old CHVs. Santana and Steamboat blew the damn roof off MLG with that match. Enjoy.
  6. What match had the Headhunters come out from under the ring during a cage match to attack someone? I remember seeing that on Pro Wrestling This Week in late '86.
  7. No, I'm talking about the Rumble anthology sets. I may have misunderstood. I thought you said those were $10. Yeah, the AWA, WCCW, Randy Savage, Jake, Perfect, etc dvd sets have been $5 or less on Amazon for a good year or two. Those have been discounted for a long time already. I sold my Dusty set awhile back and wish I hadn't. Need to pick that one back up.
  8. I'm not sure what to think so far. I signed up for the trial a couple of nights ago. My immediate reaction was one of being overwhelmed. With so much shit to watch, I really found myself not wanting to watch any of it. LOL. On that first night, I bounced around a bit on the old NWA PPVs (Chi Town Rumble, Bash 88, Bunkhouse Stampede)....a few shitty old school NWA screwjob finishes sours you on this stuff quickly. Last night, I was bouncing around on old WWF PPVs. Watched Haku vs. Harley from Rumble 89 since it's a match not really seen often and wasn't on the CHV. Watched a little bit of the Harts vs. Demo match from Summerslam 88. Saw a little bit of that Raw from '99 last night too with Corny on the mic. So, I have to admit, even though I'm a guy who likes to have the physical media and collect discs for my personal collection, it is kind of nice to be able to lay in bed at night, with the wife and kid sleeping, and just bounce around on these shows on my Kindle Fire with my headphones in without having to literally move a finger more than an inch....obviously something you cant do with hundreds of dvds or blue rays. It is a bit overwhelming to consider trying to rewatch everything, but having that option of bouncing around on the computer or Kindle at night is nice. So....not sure yet if I will re-up or not. Still deciding.
  9. FYE stores or online? I don't see that price online
  10. I'm curious as to what happens to the video already out there on Amazon, ie the anthology sets for Summerslam, Rumble, SSeries and Mania. They hover between $20-$30 each. I wonder if we'll see those drop soon to like the $10 price point.
  11. I'm reminded that WCW shoot-booked the old Battle Bowl matches in the early 90s. They knew who would win, but the pairings were all drawn legit, which in a way is comforting becauase they couldnt have sucked any more if they tried.
  12. Absolutely. HUGE name for a voiceover. I'm blown away by that. Dude is legit.
  13. Who is doing the "Wrestlemania Rewind" voiceover at the beginning? Can't figure out if that's Bob Eucker or Gary Thorne....
  14. Watching SuperBrawl I....what a train wreck between El Gigante and Sid. It was a stretcher match, but Gigante won with a pin after applying the claw, which I recall now is because Sid didn't want to do the stretcher job since he had just signed with Vince. WCW sends of OMG and Kevin Sullivan right after the match to start a feud with Gigante...just crazy.
  15. ah disregard...I found it under billing. They do a good job of showing you the date too. Kudos to them.
  16. Guys- For anyone doing the free trial, is there an obvious way to cancel? I'm not seeing a "cancel trial" option anywhere under "My Account". I may just be missing it, but I hope its not necessary to go through the chore of calling them to cancel.
  17. http://www.yelp.com/biz/circuit-city-chicago-2
  18. Loss, it was on North Avenue, a bit west of Sheffield....so west of the little shopping area that has the Best Buy....kinda at Kingsbury and North Ave, on the northwest corner. I think it may be a public storage facility now.
  19. Look at Harley. LOL. He's like "WTF?"
  20. What show or segment is "wop" used?
  21. I remember driving all over hell and highwater looking for that Flair set in late 2003....finally found it at a Circuit City on the north side of Chicago.
  22. Sorry -- I just realized I messed up my response several weeks ago. Meant to say John Arrezi (sp?) was the guy that used to organize those fan trips from Phily to Memphis.
  23. LOL, that would be incredible on so many different layers.
  24. Terry Gibbs actually held gold? No kidding. Wow.
  25. Eh, not so much. Spike Huber and Stormy Granzig were his guys.
