I read a ton of history on Stampede and watched a good amount from there and Portland. I really wish I had been prepared BEFORE the draft, because it seemed like every time I actually would discover someone worthwhile, they'd get picked up right away (usually by Dylan). Although, noticing how many Stampede guys have been drafted kinda adds to the mystique of the territory, which has never been one of my favorites. Then again, I'm running a promotion with Bret Hart as my ace in 1983, mystique is about all I got...
