The Third Time National Champion is in the house!
(Is that what Tiffany Haddish said about Damien Priest? That's what the captions said she said. Whatever she did say definitely sounded off.)
The Usos winning the titles last month was pointless, especially days after a DUI.
Should've held off until SummerSlam if they were doing a rematch anyway.
Wouldn't surprise me if Sasha is in the next round of cuts. She's a liability at this point - IF the Covid/anti-vax reports are true.
If that's the case, I just hope AEW doesn't rush to scoop her up, even though she would be a major addition to their women's division.
Edit: If she's pregnant, that's a different story - but that doesn't explain why WWE kept hyping up this match even during tonight's pre-show.
Glad they're getting this stupid bullshit out of the way early.
Still, regardless of what the story is, it's pretty cool to see women getting time on the show that's not one of the title matches.
But Becky would definitely have to win, cutting off Bianca's reign.
Then again, I assumed Bianca was dropping it tonight anyway.
I don't know that I see Becky agreeing to something so last-minute that obviously only came together in the past couple of days.
Plus, babyface vs. babyface does her no favors.
I guess we'll find out.
But she returned, what, a few weeks ago? Very stupid of WWE not to make sure she was vaxxed before putting her back on TV if that's their policy now (and I still doubt it is).
Probably because she's a woman. If she were a man, they'd roll out the welcome mat.
NWA is really backward and embarrassing.
(Not that I think they should hire Tessa. They shouldn't. She's not the draw or attraction she thinks she is, and she's not worth the trouble. Plenty of women who are just as talented, without all of the baggage.)
SummerSlam has its work cut out for it tonight to come anywhere near last night's Rampage or tomorrow night's NXT TakeOver.
WWE gonna WWE by seemingly making the Reigns-Cena result a foregone conclusion with that dopey retirement stip.
At most, there's mild speculation that Roman might be going "nope" to all of the super-spreader anti-vax morons in the locker room and getting the hell out of that Covid dumpster. (I don't see that happening though.)
But yeah, Cena has been a complete douchebag in this feud - I forgot how unbearable and counterproductive his dickhead face shtick was - so I'm not rooting for him either.
Hey, man, best wishes to you and your mom, safe travels to you, and I hope she makes a speedy recovery.
Tonight was a magical night. I'm glad you're able to enjoy it and your mind off things for a bit.
Nah, Punk vs. Omega is money. So is Punk and Bryan vs. Young Bucks.
The real money, of course, is Punk vs. the true Best in the World, "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage.
What was wrong with it?
I thought it was an absolutely tremendous visual that unfolded perfectly and with impact.
If you hate the silly Attitude Era callback, fair enough, but it was done extremely well for what it was.
The Hero stans here can’t stand it, but The Shield would have been dead in six months if he had been a part of it. Like it or not, Vince having his eyes on the prize with Roman was what kept that faction so strong for so long.
Meanwhile, Hero had two stints in NXT and both went nowhere. He never even made it to the main roster.
People have argued that he wanted to be a player/coach in his second stint. Wanted? I doubt it. Probably more like he made peace with that being his spot and lot in life.
Nobody wants to never be on Raw/Smackdown and never have a match at WrestleMania.
