The Mauro Ranallo doc that aired on Showtime on Friday night was quite good. It was the realest depiction I have seen of someone who is living with the bipolar struggle and was just utterly heartbreaking at times and was extremely illuminating to me since I have never witnessed it firsthand. The movie is called “Bipolar Rock ‘N’ Roller.” https://youtu.be/CEgJO-zrtyk

Actually did not know this. That’s awesome. -
My real hope is Big E winning the briefcase and feuding with AJ.

Fingers crossed they have given up on Nak in the main event picture. AJ desperately needs to get in something to freshen him up. This feud has been even worse than the interminable feud with Kami.

Dusty does not seem like a Blood on the Tracks guy. -
And it allowed us to see that fantastic Bryan/Hardy match without fear of a run-in (it was definitely in my head). Two awesome main events this week.

Wow, this sounds awesome. -
For sure. I used to dread anything he did. Last night, when his music hit to come save Roman, I said “yes!” Aloud. Never would have imagined that happening when his title run actually drove me away from watching WWE back in 2015..

Solidifies him for WON HOF on the first ballot. Transformed the business.

Those IWA MS shows are awesome and gross. -
Totally. Glad to see Oney get in a main event.

Man if Cass is a DSA member I'm totally down for him being a top guy.

Same here. My normal wrestling buddy wound up getting a seat from someone else the next day after I was unable to get them when they were on sale so I'd be in the same position

I haven’t gotten around to SSS16 yet but can’t wait to after watching this match. Great stuff. -
Following the Business vs Following the Product?
Zoo Enthusiast replied to Grimmas's topic in Pro Wrestling
I do both. I don’t bother with Meltzer’s business analysis but I am a Wrestleomics Patreon supporter because I think Mookie and Brandon do terrific work and break down stuff going on in the business beyond just really superficial stuff that Dave covers like TV ratings, etc. -

That sounds like total bullshit. -
If they do have a series I hope they don't do it for 3 or 4 straight PPVs. When Miz wins one he should do whatever he can to never face Bryan again, people would get so pissed at him it would be awesome. Absolutely. I’d most prefer Miz winning MITB and having Bryan beat AJ at Summerslam or something, with Miz cashing in at some point later in the year. Could beat him in a rematch, too. Bryan wins the Rumble and finally beats him at Mania. The top of the card on SD is desperate for a refresh.

How much time a week do you devote to watching wrestling?
Zoo Enthusiast replied to SpecialK's topic in Pro Wrestling
Probably about 15-20 hours. My usual schedule for the past few months has been Hulu Raw and Smackdown on Tuesday and Wednesday AM as soon as they go up before I go to work, then NXT on one of the weekend AM’s. I watch all the PPV’s and Takeovers, too. As far as non-WWE, I keep up with PWG, wXw, AAW, and Beyond almost always. I watch a lot of the companies that run less frequently on Powerbomb, as well, like SUP and Black Label Pro. I typically watch whatever show on the Network that Lapsed Fan is covering next. Plus I try and keep up with NJPW stuff that gets hyped but I get burnt out if I watch too much of it. There are indie shows I want to watch literally every week somewhere in the states along with occasional ones like PROGRESS or CZW that I’ll watch if it’s a tourney or I like the card. Then add in stuff from 2000 and re-watching ‘98 WWF and currently ‘95 WWF/WCW since the new PTBN MNW podcast started. I try to let my mood dictate most of my viewing because I watch wrestling for fun, rather than having a schedule that forces me to watch stuff that I’m not in the right mindset to enjoy. And I watch a lot of variety so I don’t get burnt out. -
Had a random Cena match on Raw in the Mania build that I got SUPER excited for but wound up being not good. Any capacity he is around in will be a positive for the company, though. He definitely seemed to take a shine to Mandy Rose during the MMC stuff and she has a great chance to be a star.
